Don't even bother

Spent a whole day in waiting for a delivery that never came. By 5pm i decided to check the online site which is so useless it mite aswel not exist and it says the courier didn't even attempt delivery. Good one!! Hopefully they go out of business soon as they are a joke and people shouldn't have to put up with their poor service.

Avoid like the plague.

If you look around the WWW you'll see abuse aimed at Yodel everywhere. I've given up waiting for them to deliver and I'm going to collect my parcel. It's the usual story of them claiming you weren't in when they've actually made no effort. If they had tried they would have at least left a card. I spoke to Virgin Media who sent out the package and the guy on the help desk says this is a common problem. Voted worst parcel company in the world, you can't post links on this site but if you Google Yodel and Guardian you'll find the article.

Rubbish system

Ordered item off Amazon. Normally, it's dropped through the door. With Yodel I have to do a 50 mile round trip for a £6 cd. Hello Yodel - the post office have had a system for a century and a half now where stuff is put in a thing called a letterbox. Try it some time.

Could have been worse

Will keep this simple...

Was due to arrive Friday 18th July came on Saturday 19th July, 1 day late is not too bad.
I was at work at the time of delivery so the guy threw my new router and tv box over the fence (somehow it works).
The tracking service could be better, i.e. instead of just telling me whether its on its way actually give me a time or number of deliveries he has to do before my one.

Well.. I did receive the product, but due to its delay, lack of support from yodel themselves and the launching it over the fence part when I clearly told them to leave it with my neighbor next door, overall I wouldn't use yodel again.

I really hope they go bankrupt

Harsh, but it wouldn't leave me waiting for a parcel over a week later than the actual expected delivery date if a company like DPD or UPS were delivering it.

Unfortunately, with many online retailers, we don't have a choice on the courier service, but these clown are the wrost.

I was waiting urgently for my parcel and saw the driver drove off with my parcel and sent a stupid text

I will not recommend any of my friends and relatives it is the worst company ever I'm so angry and disappointed with their service , what's the use of asking for customers number if you won't call and tell them the problemo of not delivering And yet they lie and say they left the stupid calling card whilst they didn't

Rubbish

Worst delivery company ever!

They were absolutely rubbish, I waited all day for a parcel that never arrived, which had forced me to take a day off to wait for them. During that day I was checking where my parcel was, never did it move from "in service centre" although I received two texts during the day to say I would be receiving my parcel that day by "21:00". Come 21:00 nothing.

I was patient enough to allow this to pass. However the next day when I check again if they had sent it out, nothing had changed still "in service centre". Contact yodels "help" chat, and wouldn't you know it yodel did what yodel do best, the illogical. They had sent my parcel "twice" out with the wrong driver. No apologies they just told me to come back Monday on the site to see if it would be updated.

Will never be using a company again that uses their services.

Dreadful service

This is a dreadful Sevice if you can call it a service. I was in my home at the time they left a card in the letter box stating no an attempt to deliver failed. The door bell DID NOT ring. This has happened to me several times with this company! I have a feeling when this happens they actually don't have the parcel on the van. I'm so angry if I ever order anything eels with amazon I'll make sure before placing the order that the company I order from DO NOT use Yodel as their delivery service.

You can NEVER get to speak to a human being which makes it even more frustrating.

Unbelievably bad, think of how bad a delivery service could possibly be and you'd be nowhere near!

Waiting for 2 weeks and still no delivery for an urgent package. They tried once and left a card, then failed to turn up on two successive pre arranged re deliveries. This then worsened slightly when they lost the parcel, which is the only time you actually get to speak to someone. Apparently now been found and out for delivery again, but another no show, and of course nobody to speak to. Genuinely if they sacked the CEO and replaced him with a chimp things could only improve. I suspect their days will be numbered anyway. DO NOT USE!!

Never again will I order from companies that use Yodel

As I read other reviews, I can tell I'm not the only one who went through this ordeal. Also, it's apparent where the problem lies. I was told they had made 3 delivery attempts but I was only ever left one card. Tried to use the card ID to track the parcel but continuously could not get through, machine on phone kept telling me they didn't recognize the number and then proceeded to hang up on me. Had to find another number to call, finally got through to a human being.

She explained that they didn't recognize my ID probably because the delivery man never (bothered to) scanned the ID in... Arranged for redelivery, parcel never came on chosen date. On the website tracker, I could see it never even left the depot. Called again, arranged for yet another redelivery. Stayed home dutifully ALL Saturday, and lo and behold, parcel never came, never left the depot when I checked again.

I was livivd when I called the third time. This time I was told the people at the depot never even intended to deliver my parcel as I had missed the previous 3 attempts. WHAT a waste of my time, calling them over and over again to explain my situation again and again. They asked for my number so the driver could call me directly, but what for if they're not even going to come?! All these futile promises! Obviously, there are major communication issues within this company.

Exasperated, I agreed to a final delivery attempt the next day, and I made sure my boyfriend would be home. My boyfriend was too petrified to even take a shower or go out for lunch. He waited until mid-afternoon when he was too hungry and was about to run to the corner store when he saw another 'Sorry I missed you' card! He was adamant he didn't hear the door bell ring. I'll never know whether he actually just didn't hear the bell ring (which is odd because we always hear it). The only way our bell doesn't sound very well is when people press for less than 1 second. The driver either never rung or if he did, it was for 0.5 sec and no second attempt. Odd seeing as I PROMISED over the phone that someone would be in. I even gave them my number AGAIN and they promised like they did before that the driver would call.

My parcel is now being sent back to the original company. I'm still not fathoming how the situation has come to this. I could've ordered from USA and would've gotten my parcel by now in normal circumstances. I've never had any issues with other delivery companies such as Parcelforce, DPD, etc... Yodel is just a joke and I'll never order from companies that use them. I should mention that the people on the phone who dealt with me have been very polite and kind, though in the end their efforts to help were not efficient at all.

Voted . The worst delivery company in the world by me.

Wasted two days staying in the house and they didn`t turn up when they said they would. The tracking status showed they tried to attempt delivery, but no one was at home. Ended up driving 25 miles to the depot as I had enough wasting time. I was told there was a glitch with the computer system and that they hadn`t even attempted to deliver, which I already knew as I was waiting for it.

No longer will I order with a company that uses myyodel as the delivery method.
Stay Clear...

Parcel was open upon delivery

I've had quite a few orders delivered from this company and only one failed too arrive but a recent order came fully opened, although there was nothing missing I was wondering if anybody else has had the same problem because I have had this happen to me before with another parcel service It's beginning too freak me out! I checked the tracking and it seemed too go through security fine with no notes of damage,

Utterly Disgusting Service

Where do I start from, First the Bike ordered from Tesco arrive with several broken parts in an unusable state obviously due to the mishandling of the delivery guys. I met him halfway to my block dragging the package on the ground. The lazy bone was too unconcerned to even pick it up.

I complained to Tesco about the item delivered and a replacement was sent out; unfortunately same delivery company Yodel.

Item was sent 18th April and I am making the review on Saturday the 26th of April 2014.

Via their own tracking service, the Package arrived at their Mitcham center on Saturday 19th April and remained undelivered despite several calls to Tesco's, who kept on assuring me they were chasing for the delivery to be made.

After being told they couldn't find the first line of my Address (which I provided, on Tuesday 22nd of April, the package remained undelivered, rather they kept on rescheduling the delivery date forwards, whiles their online tracking service indicated the package was late for delivery.

Finally they updated their online tracking to state 1st delivery attempt made (Friday 25th April) with Calling card left - which was a blantant lie, because I was home all day and responded to the door bell when the routine post man came around.

There never was a Yodel service personnel nor was there any delivery attempt made.

I called in and made a complaint to Tesco and was assured this will be looked into, however after insisting Yodel be made to rectify that "lie" and just simply state the truth that no delivery had been attempted, Yodel decied to cancel the delivery and return the package to Tesco as they cannot fulfil the service.

First Off I don't even know why any serious company will want to use Yodel as a delivery service provider.

They have shown time and again to be one of the most untruthful and unrelaible service providers in the UK and any store or distributor still using them certainly do not have any clear regard for their consumers or do they wish to pursue a profitable business for the immediate future.

I am completely disgusted by their outrageous standard of service. Utterly disgusted.
