Most of the Zing experiences were really GOOD. Only exception was the virtual and in person home health check ups. Redundant calls, poor communication within Zing and with it's supporting services.... See more

Zing Health was founded in 2019 by two African American physician entrepreneurs, Eric E. Whitaker, MD, MPH, and Kenneth Alleyne, MD, along with co-founders Health2047 and healthcare executive Garfield Collins, to address inadequacies in the healthcare system by creating collaborative, community-based Medicare Advantage plans.
By extending 21st century health service solutions built around community, Zing Health seeks to drastically improve health outcomes in diverse populations that have been chronically underserved. Given that 80 percent of clinical outcomes are attributable to social determinants of health, Zing Health’s unique approach acknowledges the importance of understanding a patient’s circumstances outside of a clinical setting and offers a strategic, tech-enabled model that can scale to match the size of the problem.
In 2020, Zing Health served Medicare beneficiaries in Cook County, Illinois. Today, Zing serves an expanded service area encompassing counties in Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana. In 2024, Zing Health will begin offering new plan types as well as enhancements to existing plans.
Our Mission
Zing Health has a singular mission: Providing managed care Medicare Advantage plans that address social determinants of health to reduce healthcare disparities among historically underserved populations. Zing’s plans integrate Medicare Parts A and B benefits with Part D prescription drug coverage, along with providing robust extra benefits.

I’ve already wrote one review explained everything so I don’t know how you’re rated four stars. I can’t wait to get away from you guys. None of you there know what they’re doing and can’t answer any questions and was hung up on eight times through a different agents they said I’ll put you on hold for one or two minutes when they did that they hung up went into a survey. I would never recommend you to anybody. I wouldn’t even let you take care of my dog.

I am an authorized representative on my elderly aunt’s Zing Health account, which she enrolled in as of January 2026. From day one, this health plan has been an absolute disaster.
I completed the authorization form in the member booklet AND submitted a copy of the Power of Attorney, yet every single time I call, I am met with confusion, runaround, and incompetence. Today was the final straw. A Customer Service rep named Jose confirmed my authorization was on file and said he would notify Card Services before transferring me. When I was transferred, I requested a supervisor, and was told by Darcy, the Card Services supervisor, that I needed to submit SEPARATE authorization paperwork to TWO different departments. Let that sink in. One authorization form. Two departments. Nobody talking to each other.
The form did not ask me to specify a department. It asked me to be an authorized user on my aunt’s account. That is a blanket authorization; full stop. Requiring caregivers and representatives to navigate your internal bureaucracy is not our problem. It is yours.
The issues don’t stop there:
** My aunt’s benefit card has NEVER worked correctly since the inception of her plan.
** The Zing Health member app’s item scanner is completely non-functional, you cannot scan items to verify purchase eligibility.
I was so fed up that I reached out directly to CEO Andrew Clifton and Co-Founder/Chief Administrative and Partnership Officer Garfield Collins. Neither one responded. Their silence speaks volumes and is entirely consistent with the culture of poor customer service that has defined every interaction I’ve had with this organization.
Zing Health markets itself as a health plan for seniors. The people enrolled in this plan deserve better. Their caregivers and advocates deserve better. If you are considering this plan for yourself or a loved on; you have been warned.

I have found that overall my experience to date hss been quite satisfactory although there have been many times that the communication from Customer Service reps was either too repetitive or in other area communication was lacking! Communication on EOBs status has been lacking following certain services I've had rendered such as MRIs, CAT scans,
and various other tests. I've often had to call repeatedly to obtain those important EOBs!

Your Liberty Dental Plan needs to cover crown
and/or bridge work without reservation. When a claim is up for consideration, stop being so damn ticky!!!
