Request to the authorities for data theft.

Impossible to contact support to delete my account and personal data. I sent an email three weeks ago requesting the deletion of my data, but received no response. I am a French resident and have referred the matter to the relevant authorities, including the CNIL.

It is unfortunate that a bank has to be confronted with regulatory authorities.

They blocked my account and my money can’t be used.

They blocked my account with my money on it, giving no reason, they say routine checks will be done in 72 hours.

Double that time has passed and nothing happend, in 2 days it’s been full 7 days.

can you imagine that they block you from spending or reaching your money?

I have active balance of 3900 and additional transaction of 3000 which they still didn’t add.

I thought they were normal bank.

You will be a fool to open account with them.

Customer service unpolite and waste of time because they tell you always automatically replied emails none sense.

You want headache and be disrespected? Open account with this so called bank.

N26 Bank is Not to be trusted for large money transfers

Hi!! If you are looking for a debit card that works in most countries where you can easily transfer money into various currencies, I would advise you to stay away from N26 headquartered in Germany. I did a transfer of 4,000 euros to the account of a friend in England February 25, 2025. The transfer was to be done by Western Union, a partner of N26, but they never received the funds from N26 and therefore cancelled the transfer. My 4,000 euros has not been refunded to me by N26 yet (almost two months!). They say that they have to “investigate” what happened. I just filed a complaint with the German banking authority in charge of consumer products.

Don't trust them with your money, they will block your funds and not return them

Opened a new account transferred my salary and now have been blocked for payments 3 times in two weeks. This time for 5 days and still no update. Can't access my funds or make payments. Support refuses to help. Don't use it trust them their process is disfunctional.

Froad Company

Froad Company. You need to be real good for them not to steel your money. Never use ATM,
I tryed to take put cash 3 time in same mounch, number 3 time the refused, no money bout the still tok out money from my acount.
I arsk for log files the refuses me logfiles, and youst stoll the money. Complained bout of corce the do not give a shit about your money.
For me it do not looke like a mistake the stoole my money. It lookes lile the steel client money.

Uncomplicated banking

In last 30 years I have been the client of 5 main stream banks. The first one cheated me on interest the others have been only 1 bank in reality because of mergers and takeovers and it has never become easier to deal with. They treat my custom as if they're doing me a favour. I decided to try a more modern approach to banking and chose N26. Total breath of fresh air. It just works. No attitude, no delays, no excuses. Wish I had done it years ago, but hey live and learn!

Nightmare

I would not give even 1 star. I had terrible experience. I opened this account just so I have Spanish IBAN to pay my taxes but in fact I never used this account. I was just paying monthly fee of about 5 euros but because I didn't used the account for about a year the money I put in went towards the monthly fee and after a year when I checked my account I found out I had overdraft. I tried to pay it but it was impossible because they have blocked all options to deposit or even transfer from a friend money in. BTW the overdraft was €52, nothing crazy. They dragged this for such a long time and then they threned if I don't pay they will take legal actions. After all communications I have send to them begging them to open the account so I can pay this overdraft so I don't end up paying more money for account I have never used they send me an IBAN to transfer the money with reference number. Their organization and communication is horrible! Obviously the departments within the company don't communicate with each other because while I was with customer service they said the compliance are doing checks but nobody knows how long I have to wait checks to finish so I reached the deadline and they wanted to take legal actions against me but because I never stopped complaining and explaining my situation and I asked for the transcript of all communication they finally decided to corroborate but I was no longer able even to log in to my account, I just send them money to the IBAN they provided over email and I received confirmation it was paid! Just be verry careful!
