I originally purchased a Nabru sofa 11 years ago. The sofa itself is still in excellent condition but was looking a bit tired. I replaced the back cushions and all the covers for about £350..and it looks like a whole new sofa. If I get another 11 years from it I shall be very happy.

Customer service from Nabru is excellent, from speed of quote to parcel receipt. They had even put the replacement covers on the new cushions prior to despatch. Sounds a small thing but 3 less cushions to wrestle was very helpful!

Overall very impressed with the company and the sofa. I’m lucky to live not far from one of the showrooms so I visited a few months ago just to get an idea of the look and feel of the sofas. I visited again a few weeks ago when I was much nearer to making a purchase, and the assistant was helpful in showing me how you can basically build the sofa you want (sofa length, arm height, seat softness, material etc) on their website (they will do this for you if you don’t want to do it, but it’s very easy to do yourself). I also took some swatches of fabric home to decide on the colour I wanted (they can also post swatches to you).

I ordered the sofa a few days later and booked a delivery slot for about 3 days after that, so if you need a sofa quickly it’s a great option. My flat is on the 3rd floor with no lift so I ended up going for the delivery to room plus the assembly by the delivery guy.

There was a bit of a delay in delivering the sofa in the end, but the guy was very friendly and professional and called me to update me. The company also compensated me for the delay which I was impressed by, as it’s nice to find a company who respond promptly to emails and seem genuinely interested in offering good customer service. 5 stars for this Nabru!

The sofa itself is very nice and robust feeling. It doesn’t feel like a flat pack / self-assembly sofa at all and is very solid. I went for the firm seating (which just means it doesn’t have any springiness to it) but if you decide later you want the slightly softer, more springy option or vice versa you can always order some parts and change it. When I tried the firm and soft seating in the showroom I’d say the difference is fairly subtle, but the firm option is like a solid foam (which I quite like). I think I was told the sofa will soften a bit over time too so that’s also why I went for the firmer seating. That’s what’s really nice about Nabru actually - you can order new parts if anything gets damaged, or extend the sofa if you need to, or add a sofa bed mechanism or storage etc.

As for the sofa fabric it’s lovely and soft, (I ordered Enzo Stone) and it looks hard-wearing too. The only very slight improvement that could be made would be to the matching pouf I ordered, as some overlocking stitching is slightly visible near the bottom. This is only apparent if you really look at it close-up so it’s by no means a deal breaker, but maybe something Nabru could have a look at.

Another point is that it’s really nice to know the sofa could be disassembled and taken somewhere else if needed. The assistant in the showroom also explained the fabric covers can be washed in a machine on a low setting then put back on the sofa (when still a tiny bit damp for best results) so it’s nice to know if you get any spills or things on it you can always wash that bit of the sofa cover (or even order a new cushion or arm cover or whatever if something more disastrous happens!)

So yes, very pleased overall and I highly recommend Nabru!

We have had our Nabru sofa for about 6 years, it has been wonderfully comfortable and a great choice. Someone aggressively moved the sofa and ended up breaking one of the panels. I contacted the team and they were on it straight away. Ordering the new part was simple and getting someone in to re-assemble (I was banned by my wife from trying myself!) was quick and inexpensive. He even spotted a missing connector which Nabru sent me free of charge. Really great customer service. Thank you.

The sofa came on the day it was promised. The driver was friendly and so helpful. After getting the sofa out he explained as few things to me. I decided to assemble myself. I was impressed by the quality of everything. I took my time and in just under a couple of hours, I had a 3 seater chaise sofa. Did it cost a lot? Maybe. But unlike other sofa's, I know this will last a long time and I know I can spares because of its modular design. In my opinion, money well spent

Just recommending Nabru to a friend and thought I should leave a review. Purchased my sofa from them because it gave me the right size (I could get a three seater sofa made where other companies were all too big) That was nine years ago. Its as good as new, shows no signs of wear and was such a good purchase! Thank you!

I was a bit dubious about using Nabru as I had never heard the name before and a well priced, custom built sofa, in a wide choice of fabrics with quick delivery seemed a bit too good to be true … honestly, it’s not!

Nabru have been great from start to finish. I got a custom built corner sofa delivered in a week after not being able to find anything that would fit the dimensions of Living Room anywhere else. When it arrived the arm rests I had chosen seemed a little low (my fault as they were the ones I chose) however I messaged Nabru on their live online chat and they arranged for them to be swapped over for higher ones within the week, free of charge. Absolutely amazing customer service!

The sofa looks great, it is a little firm at the moment but that is the option I chose as my last sofa sagged and looked awful. There is the option for softer seating if needed.

The delivery guys were on time and really polite and respectful of my home.

The product:
I am very pleased with how the sofa turned out. It is sturdy and a good size. The cushions are a bit firm, but we knew this because we ordered the “standard” cushions and not soft to make the couch last longer. Teal fabric is gorgeous in color, has shine in the sun. I am actually really impressed with the build quality of the wood. The wood is cut to fit precise measurements perfectly.
Assembly:
This is a two person job. The frame itself is easy. Pulling fabric on foam was a bit challenging but we got it done. We had to pull/rip a little of fabric on the back corner to be able to put the parts together (but this is minor and you cannot see it when assembled). All other fabric fit perfect. The seat cushions have neat ties on the back.
Delivery:
Order comes on a pallet. Delivery man was nice enough to let us unpack the order and take the pallet back with him.
Customer Service:
We had a fabric delay issue. Customer service was nice and resolved it no problem.

Summary:
Overall this is a great, quality couch. The best part is that if something needs to be replaced, the company has a “parts” section on their website. Very eco friendly since you don’t need to replace a full sofa is something rips or breaks. I was a bit skeptical when ordering because I have never seen furniture like this before but everything turned out to be great. We live in an old style British “townhouse” with small stairs and living room on second floor. I carried all parts upstairs myself with no issues.
I would buy from this company again and I believe this sofa will last us a long time. Hope this helps someone!

Superb world class service received from Nabru.

Everything was great, from the communication about when the sofa was due to it arriving. Upon arrival each aspect was then assembled carefully. Very impressed indeed and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from Nabru in the future.

Absolutely amazing company. This is our 2nd Nabru design your own sofa. We built them both ourselves and the company have only improved things from our last one 15 years ago. The driver who delivered it was friendly and helpful, even told us too call him if we had any issues. We had an issue with one of the chaise covers which I reported via the website, I had a reply in under an hour and a replacement cover on the way which will arrive in a couple of days. The sofa quality is amazing and it's really handy when you live in a terraced property with narrow windows to still be able too have a large sofa! Really cannot recommend this company enough!
