Everything was perfect

Absolutely would buy from Naken again. Well priced product, reasonable shipping costs, all of which made having to pay customs charges far less painful. The cabinet was packaged beautifully, I needn't have worried at all about the distance it was travelling and delivered in good time, as promised. Fantastic customer service, very happy customer.

Terrible delivery times

Terrible delivery time, 2 weeks late… if I had known this was a drop-shipping site I wouldn’t have purchased. The excuse the customer service person gave sounded like he’d said it 100 times that day already. I’m concerned about the quality of the item now after reading the other reviews. And judging by the returns policy it will be impossible to send back.

I am sorry to hear your experience has not been what we as a company would expect. However, please be assured we are not just a "drop-shipping site" and the items on your order have to be imported to the UK from our supplier in the Netherlands and therefore clear customs (which is why we clearly display estimated lead times prior to payment on the product pages, in the basket, within the checkout and on your order confirmation after purchase).

From looking into this further I can see that your order was only placed with us on 15/11 late evening on an estimated 5-10 working day lead time (allowing until the end of the month for dispatch), however you since requested to cancel the order which I can confirm has been actioned.

This company is so wonderful to shop…

this company is so wonderful to shop from. Not only are their products beautiful and of high quality, but their staff and customer care are helpful, accommodating and just overall lovely. The help with my delivery requirements, and even delivered earlier than expected. communication was easy and fruitful.

In a world where E-commerce is the norm, many operations out there pose as legitimate businesses, but can't be trusted. Think we've all encountered them. This is undermining consumer confidence. Naken is a serious company that takes the shopping experience seriously, and one you can trust. I can't recommend them enough

Untrustworthy company

I Purchased a nykuku recycled glass light for £250 , paid electrician to fit it ,only once illuminated awful marks within the glass were visible which you could not see until it was illuminated.Also the metal fitting is soft and bendy so not happy at all about safety. Naken show no care about any of this , fobbing me off as the light has been fitted, they can not do anything.which obviously I would not have done if I realised it had faults. It has cost me £100 to fit and unfit the £250 substandard light which I shall take to the dump Be very careful if you expect any form of after care.

I am sorry to hear your product has not been what was expected. When investigating your review, unfortunately it looks like when we raised the claim with the supplier they advised us that the item was handmade and manufactured from a natural product, meaning the variations you mentioned were to be expected and therefore a replacement would have the same design.

I am afraid they also advised that a return was also not able to be accepted due to the amount of time passed and because the item had already been previously installed.

Woeful

Quick update to my previous review following Naken's reply. They stated that I hadn't contacted them regarding their offer to return the broken glass coffee table to me.
This is from their email to me;
"The item is in our warehouse and can either be collected or we can send this to you for a charge of £10. Please politely note; if we do not receive a response to this email within 14 days the item/s in question will be destroyed 60 days from receipt of the item in our warehouse".
So in addition to the £380.40 I had already donated to their company, they invited me to give them a further £10 so they could leave the broken glass coffee table at my house.
I didn't reply as their email didn't ask me to. And I didn't feel inclined to give them more money, having already wasted £380.40, plus more than £50 returning the table.
I am over £400 down with no coffee table to show for it. Their customer service is woeful.
The same coffee table is available, for much less, from more ethical retailers.
I repeat, RUN from this company.

After further investigating your most recent review, I can see that we reached out to you (after you previously made contact with us on this platform on 30/08) to organise a re-delivery but no response was given after asking how you wished to proceed.

We do sympathise with the situation and understand that you are still without your coffee table (as we have still not had a response from you).

As the returned item damage was only chipped in one place which you could see by the images we sent to you (so not completely broken), with some tactical placement of items on top of your table, it would be more than usable and therefore not a total loss to you. But, unfortunately it is just not able to be re-sold by us to another customer (for obvious reasons). This is why we have since offered to re-dispatch the item to you free of charge.

As I am sure you can appreciate, we are unable to keep damaged items stored indefinitely in our warehouse. This is why a 60 day contact window is initiated on the rare occasion that a return is rejected due to damage - within this timeframe you are able to organise your own courier to collect the goods, pay a small fee to us to have the item re-dispatched or instruct us to dispose of the goods. After this timeframe passes we have no choice but to dispose of the item to avoid unnecessary storage.

I am afraid that this has already been stored longer than the 60 day contact window, however given the value of this item and the minor damage, I have arranged for this to be stored a further 15 days (allowing until 9th October 2023) for a collection/re-delivery to be organised for you - Please kindly note, after this date the goods will be disposed of.

To proceed with this further, we will need you to follow-up to one of our emails sent to you regarding this rejected return as soon as possible (none of which have yet been responded to). Alternatively, you can create a support ticket on our contact page: https://www.naken.co.uk/contact

Excellent!

The service from Naken was excellent. The range of light fittings to choose from was extensive and reasonably priced. The quality of the items was super, although they have not yet been fitted in our new kitchen extension, so it is not possible to see them fully illuminated. Fast delivery and well packed glass fittings. Highly recommended.

Item took more than 3 weeks to deliver…

Item took more than 3 weeks to deliver and was past its estimated delivery date. They’ve refused to refund the express parcel delivery that I paid extra for even though they didn’t provide that service. Item was being returned, however after further investigation it will cost me £90 to return the item as they insist it is insured and return postage paid for by the buyer.
Would not use again.

I am sorry to hear your experience has not been what we as a company would expect. From looking into this I can see that your order was dispatched only 3 days outside of the original estimated delivery dates provided at the time of purchase of which we notified you of the short delay prior to the end of these estimated dates.

Regarding the "Premium Delivery" you selected at checkout, I believe there is some confusion here: this is for an upgraded delivery service and nothing related to the delivery timeframe, I can confirm that this upgraded service was completed for you, which is why it couldn't be refunded upon its return.

Unfortunately we do not currently offer a free returns service (due to the varied sizes/weights of our products) however we do offer free delivery over £100, so the items return journey must be covered by the customer for a refund to be processed.

This is a matter that will be looked into to see how we could improve in future in the unlikely event that this might happen again.

My experience was good…

My experience was good from this company although I only ordered a tub of paste and it was delivered when they said it would be. It’s clear they need to brush up on their customer service skills, I don’t like seeing the amount of negative reviews, especially without any follow up from Naken so this would question future purchases.

I agree with the review saying negative reviews are deleted. Exactly the same happened to me and I had to jump through a lot of hoops to have the review formally verified and reinstated. It would have been very easy just to give up. Makes you wonder how many other negative reviews are deleted.
