I was given a time frame of 1.30pm and instead they turned up at 4pm. My interior dashboard was left stained and full of debris! Not very professional at all. The man also brought his child with him!! I was unaware it was bring your child to work day as I don’t think my adult children would appreciate having to drive my recovery truck.
One star due to the sheer unprofessional nature of this whole experience. I could probably get a more professional service from a 4 year old.

Poor fitting of screen, rear view mirror not fitting correctly, plastic trim not fitting properly

Awful service and no compensation for wasted time with incorrect products. No interest in trying to discuss. Just got an email saying sorry even though I was out of pocket for £300! Would definitely not recommend!! Beware

No issues with the fitting other than I didn’t get the option of a repair, also I would have preferred an original equipment replacement.

Replacement was booked in for a date in December. Van pulled up and said he couldn’t do it in the rain. Had a call from the office to rebook, asking me to call back. Rang the same number back, they said they didn’t recognise my name or registration number or address and told me very rudely they couldn’t help and had never heard of me, there was ‘nothing on their system’ . After multiple calls I managed to rebook with great difficulty (via the payments line as the main office were so rude). The new appointment was booked for morning only but this wasn’t communicated to the technician, who came in the afternoon (again, many calls and stress trying to resolve this as I waited in all morning with no update on time whatsoever). The new repair technician looked at my windscreen (fitted by national windscreens a year before) and agreed it was a stress crack caused by a defect with the original glass and covered under warranty. Repeatedly told me there would be no charge, it wouldn’t go through insurance and that he had spoken to the office to confirm. A few days later I received an invoice, dated for the original appointment when no work was done due to rain (an appointment they had previously claimed didn’t exist anywhere on their system!), and notification from my insurer that national windscreens had put a claim through. This company are fraudulent and invoicing customers for work not done, have terrible communication, and rude customer service, do not come on time or provide updates, they use poor quality glass prone to faults and then do not honour their warranty even when they say in person that work will be carried out under it.
Update: I’ve had a stock response (below) from the company to my review stating they have been in contact with me to resolve this. They have not! This is sadly showing dishonesty on their part. I have today asked an intermediary to call them as I can’t face any more dealings with them. A windscreen replacement should be a straightforward and hassle free experience, as it is with the other large vehicle glass company. I’m now changing insurer to avoid dealing with national windscreens ever again.

Wrong screen ordered so had to arrange transport to and from Newmarket twice , first time got a call after I had left to say couldn’t be done, collect and come back a week later, a pain but once installed all good, complex screen with lane assist, rain sensor and heated

I was a bit nervous when I initially booked this. The Google reviews of the Newmarket store weren't great but I had no choice as its what my insurance chose as its windscreen repair/replacement company.
The guy at Newmarket, Valter, was great. He was professional and social, we had a laugh and joke, and the work is great. Very happy with the whole process.

Great service, replaced my windscreen at my house, great Website for booking, great phone support to check details, text message on the day. Brilliant all round!

Windscreen had to be replaced after a stone left a chip and a line started to show across left side screen, already had a repaired chip on right side, efficient service within time suggested, shame waiting room wasn’t open that day or coffee available but all good and would recommend.
