I was very happy with the service. They’ve made sure that my vehicle was done as soon as they can. I was also able to work from their waiting area which was very useful.

The staff in Reading, who manage the section and fit the screens, were first class. I had to attend the premises on two occasions: on the day prior to my first visit, I called National Windscreens, and spoke to what must have been a "Call Centre". My previous conversations with representatives of your company had been a nightmare, in that not one person at the Call Centre really understood major points about how it is judged for a windscreen to be mended, or replaced - and I believe I had three different views given to me. Because of this lack of knowledge from people purporting to represent National Windscreens, I was nervous about whether of not the operatives who would do the task, would do a satisfactory job. Therefore, on the day before my appointment, called the call centre once again, to check that the correct windscreen had been sent to the operatives. The person at the Call Centre checked, and said that the screen had already been received in Reading. However, when I arrived the following day, not only had the windscreen not been sent, but the instructions given to the operatives had been listed as a "mend", rather than a replacement. The staff in Reading tried hard to locate an appropriate windscreen, but this was too late, and I had to re-book my appointment. When I turned up on the second date, everything was waiting, and the guys did a great job. It is just such a shame that these staff, who deserve to be valued, are not supported by a knowledgeable and efficient team setting up the arrangements for them in the first place. The Call Centre is the first experience I had with National Windscreens - 0r ANY WINDSCREEN business - and had I not been looked after by such a capable team at Reading, then I would have spoken to my insurers, changed to another supplier, and given the insurers a full account of the unprofessional and time-wasting "employees" (as I believed the Call Centre staff to be, until a friend advised to the contrary).
REMEMBER, PLEASE, that most people, like myself, have never had to have a windscreen repaired or replaced, and therefore need accurate advice and reliable actions from the supplier.
ONCE AGAIN, I SUGGEST THAT YOU ENSURE THAT ALL YUOUR STAFF MATCH THOSE IN YOUR READING BRANCH. THEY COMPLETELY TURNED AROUND OUR VIEW OF YOUR COMPANY, IN TERMS OF THE WORKMANSHIP AND THE FINAL OUTCOME.

I rang the Reading branch yesterday (29/05/26) as I was having an issue with my rearview mirror becoming unattached from my windscreen. They advised to come in and they would take a look. I made my way over and was pleased to find parking readily available. I spoke with 2 employees, both of whom were really helpful and talked me through the repair options I had. They got to work and I waited in the waiting room upstairs which was spacious with comfy seating. It was soon repaired and I couldn’t be happier. Great service, excellent communication and work was carried out quickly. Highly recommend.
