Very helpful from start to finish. Everything was explained which was very helpful having no knowledge myself. I could ask questions at anytime and all queries were dealt with straight away. The installation went very well and I am extremely happy with the package we received. The aftercare has been exceptional and I would recommend Nationwide Renewables to everyone.

I was told the scaffolding would be gone next day but 6 days later still here contacted manager in charge of my installation and took a week to get scaffolding removed but now gone yippee.
Then problem with system not working so contacted solaxpower who helped to get dongle connected to router now can see energy produced bit awkward but now done. Nationwide renewables do take complaints seriously which is brilliant

The staff are all very helpful. The sales msn Rhys wasn't pushy like some sales people are was very informational, solar panels where very good snd see believe reasonable priced, thevwork was carried out when where told it would be the aftercare we have had has been exsllent and can't be thought in any way.
We would highly recommend this company gor solar panel installation.
Excellent service from start to finish. Very good workmanship. Everything was done on the dates given. I would thoroughly recommend Nationwide Renewables to anyone. 5*
David visited us to explain the solar panel system and recommended an installation based on our usage.
After deciding to go ahead, Suzie was our contact and she kept us up to date with all aspects of the work. The date given was very soon after the survey and went reasonably smoothly. Just a slight hiccup with the scaffolding due to our difficult 3 level site, but that was solved early the following morning and the installation was completed the same day. The system did not start generating immediately but after some fault finding the following day the panels are running OK. Suzie was excellent at keeping us informed about all aspects of the installation and even did a site visit on the day. All in all a very simple process.
Great company. Had a call from a young lad who booked Richard to come out to see me to design my solar project. Richard was so knowledgeable and informative spending 3 hours with me explaining everything and planning the best system possible.
Then I was passed to the installation team who had a speedy turn around getting my panels on my roof within 7 days.
Panels look amazing so happy with the system Richard built. I have a 10KW battery meaning I am using no electric from the grid anymore couldn't be happier with the system and the company
We had a consultation with Andrew and he was very helpful. He spent the time needed so we can make sense of it. Based on the cost and savings it made it a no brainer to go solar.
Company have many awards of their packages so I’m pleased with what I’ve got and who I’m going with. Early days yet, but spoke to some nice people and they make me feel confident to go solar!
I recently had this company around to give me a quote for solar panels. After over 3 hrs of presentation, he refused to give me a quote and wanted me to sign up. I respectfully advised this was not something I wanted to do straight away as I was looking around for the best systems for me. He became very frustrated and when I asked him to leave, he rang a ‘colleague’ at the office and was very insulting to me, mis quoting me to his colleague and suggesting I should be signing with him tonight. I asked him to leave once again and he was still continued to chat on the phone with the office. I found the whole experience uncomfortable. I had to shut the door on him in the end and eventually he left. Do not recommend them if their hard sell.

We have been in dispute with this company since August 2023 they came and installed 3solar panels and a small battery we already had 6 panels so it turned out the battery was to small they also changed the inverter. Not long after we received a phone call from “SOLIS” who provided the inverter to say that an alarm had registered on their monitor apparently they can monitor the inverters remotely so it discovered that the whole system was not communicating because the installation was incomplete the data cable had not been fitted and there was a meter missing the battery was not earthed danger to life here. From August to November Shane and his pal totally ignored my request for this to be sorted in the end with the help of a group called “Solar Guard” an engineer came and assessed the situation and put it right on his advice we had a lager battery fitted. Nationwide Renewables still will not acknowledge that they took our money failed to complete the work they had been payed for in full and refuse to discuss compensation this company is a total fraud do not employ them ever how can a company send a team of fitters to do a job and not know they don’t have all the equipment? Beware but a good overview of solar and the company's offering. You will not get any specification, performance figures or cost estimate unless you commit to buy their system first. This may not suit all potential customers. Most may wish to compare detailed numbers from at least 3 or 4 suppliers. Be very careful especially if vulnerable or slower thinking. My salesperson, Reece, was good at his job and exceedingly polite. I think he could see my difficulty but he is bound by company protocol. He'd be valuable in a more conventional company. i recomend nationwide solar panel.especially the sraff reys and sarah very approavhsble and helpful
This company taught me a lesson -don't sign up when the salesman visits for the first time. I signed up but then changed my mind and it took me time to get back my deposit. I don't want to be too harsh on this company as they are part of the green revolution and they do have many good reviews. It is worthwhile to get three quotes and to compare them. All companies look to be usin excellent solar panels. I looked in detail at three companies. The payback time is likely to be between 10 to 12 years and might be more if you are overcharged.
we were unsure about having solar installed at our age but after talking to david we understood the benefits of having a 10 panel system. We were given the options and decided to go ahead and was assigned Sarah as our project manager she kept in touch from start to finish answering any questions we had about our solar install. Ben and his partner installed every thing in one afternoon and made sure we knew how to operate the app on our phones showed us all we needed to know and left everything as it should be, Good service from start to finish very professional great product at a good price .

Incompetent or Dishonest?
Nationwide Renewables contacted my Father about fitting Solar Panels, when I discovered that my Father had booked the installation I contact Nationwide Renewables to enquire how they had contacted him. They were reluctant to speak to me as they already had their sale and were adamant they were going to fit their Solar Panels. I explained that my Father was vulnerable and if they had contacted him via the telephone he was TPS listed, the Project Manager didn’t care and used pressuring language (including threats of legal action) to ensure they continued with they timescales. It has now been around four months since installation and they have failed to move my Father to a new supplier. The Sales person fabricated an email address for my Father (who has no broadband and no wifi enabled devices) and they have spent three months trying to contact him on this fake email address, despite them having my mobile number. Nationwide Renewables also failed to collect any of the information required to actually switch my Fathers energy supply and have left it to me to provide this information for them.
Are they incompetent or dishonest? At this point I'm inclined to say both. Would NOT recommend and await their response below this review to request more information to put things right. If only they were as interested when I was trying to ask questions at the beginning of the installation! Response - what a surprise, despite the Project Manager having called me previously Nationwide Renewables are now unable to find the correct number to call me. Shocking.
Update, have spoken to a Customer Service Rep and given full details, unfortunately they are unable to update the system themselves, this can only be done by the Project Manager. It's a painful process calling this company and I have received no call back or confirmation that they are moving forward with switching the energy provider. Not recommended. Update (May 2025)- Nationwide Renewables have appointed a Toubleshooter to deal with this (and I assume other similar issues). We have now been given information on the App to be used to monitor the output of the Solar Panels, however as the property has no internet connection this is only possible if I bring a portable hotspot with me. The Panels do indeed seem to work as advertised but as the Energy Account has previously been hijacked by Rebel Energy, refused a transfer to Octopus and now reclaimed by British Gas we are still no closer to knowing how much my Fathers energy bills are since the Panels were installed.
August 2025, after being asked to remove my Review on Google Maps (apparently they were in the midst of recruiting and my review came up on top of any Google searches) we don’t seem to be any further forward. The Customer Service Manager has refunded about £80.00 of energy that should have been credited back to the account. No certificates have been issued and I don’t believe they will appear anytime soon. I have researched having the Solar Panel installation certified by a third party but unfortunately this would mean the third party uninstalling the full system and reinstalling, obviously this would cost a fairly large sum. A call to Trading Standards seems to be in order.
January 2026 – A 17 month update. After a call in December with our third CS Manager I was promised all of the documents required by the end of January 2026. We’re still waiting but there are 16 days left so lets hope they arrive.
However, having just spoken to British Gas, the current provider, it seems as though any energy produced by the Solar Panels has just disappeared into the ether as BG require an MCS certificate and a letter from the Distribution Network Operator. Whilst a letter from the DNO is, supposedly, on its way an MCS certificate will never be available as Nationwide Renewables are not MCS certified. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement, to say I was surprised would be a lie.
When next I have the opportunity to talk to the Nationwide Renewables CS Manager this could be an interesting conversation. I’ve tried three different numbers to get hold of them but the best I get is an answering machine.
In December I suggested to the CS Manager that as I had spent upwards of 50 hours chasing them to rectify these issues I would be looking for some type of financial compensation, it seems as though I will now also be looking for recompense for the lost electricity generated as well.
As I only seem to get any traction when I update this Review I look forward to a call from the CS Manager in the near future.
Total charlatans not willing to follow up with valid faults from bad installation and not delivering the proper paperwork after 5 months of repeated requests and promises each time that this will be resolved
Extremely slick sales pitch and Very quick to demand payment after installation shameful follow up from customer service (I.e- None)
Do not trust this company you will be disappointed

Further to your feedback below on my comments regarding your company’s performance and integrity
I never claimed that the system was installed incorrectly what I did complain about is the location of the CT coil being in the wrong position to incorporate my heat pump
So no there is no fundamental misunderstanding on how solar works I have a very good understanding and knowledge on the subject, it may have helped if your reviewer had actually spoken with your complaints team and reviewed what I had informed them of what the problem was and how to fix it! If you had at least sent an engineer I could have directed him to the issue, you will have recorded evidence of these calls so NO I will not be removing my comments and I stand by them, I have also now instructed a third party engineer to fix the issue
I am also still waiting for the relevant paperwork to facilitate the charge back to the grid that was promised within 3 months
I have now consulted with a law firm to consider back charging you for this work

Quick to install, wired part of my system incorrectly left me without hot water for two weeks, customer service is slow at dealing with issues still waiting for my mcs or equivalent a year later. Not the cheapest not the most expensive, overall disappointing service.

Inefficient Service from Nationwide Renewables. Over a year ago I got my solar panels installed by Nationwide Renewables and since installation, have not been issued my Ownership and Installation certificates despite my many reminder for them these documents. I have only been linked with Mr Rob Wood in the last two days and Mr Wood has been fantastic in trying to help me obtain the documents. He has updated me with the latest progress of my request. Thank you Rob. I wait to the final help is received then I will give another review.

I have recently had solar panels installed on my property by Nationwide Renewables and it’s been a enjoyable experience with one or two bumps on the road one of them caused a by Sky Broadband network going down causing me to lose my link in solar app. I have got all that sorted now
Thanks In no small part to Elliot Esposito who apologised for not being able to sort me out and put me in touch with SolaXCloud tech department who were able to put me straight and managed to even update my system i am now feeling delighted with how my system has improved and feeling very happy to have dealt with such a great company
