Inferior product…UV protection worthless!
I ordered palms with the UV protection because I knew they would be in a fairly sunny location. After just a few weeks, they are already a blueish color that is in no way natural. I wrote a review for their web site and it was never published so clearly they don’t post negative reviews. I also did not get any response from customer service. Seems dishonest! Would never order again!
Buyer Beware
For such an expensive product, I expected outstanding customer service when I had an error in the address I provided for shipping. No way to cancel your order or adjust your shipping address once purchased even before the product ships out. Emailed customer service immediately to rectify the address - they responded 2 days later and said nothing can be done because the product had shipped in the time it took them to respond. I felt the response to the request in general was rude and was not offered any solutions other than contact the shipping company directly. No idea how I will get the product I paid for since its going to the wrong address. Will not be purchasing from them again.
Customer service refuse to process a simple return
Bought a faux ficus tree. It arrived mangled in the shipping process, and looked very fake to start with. I ased to return it— they say it’s marked down so it can’t be returned. That it could not be returned was never mentioned at point of sale. Customer service is lousy. They do not stick by their products. Buy from anyone before you buy from this company. They are the worst.
HORRIBLE BUSINESS EXPERIENCE: I am happy to update my review. Nearly Natural stepped up to the plate and resolved my issues. I still will not do business with them again. I am satisfied the experience
HORRIBLE BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:
How can this company improve? GO OUT OF BUSINESS. I made the mistake of ordering a plant and within 12 hrs. they said it had shipped. After reading the reviews about Nearly Natural I've contacted my credit card company and will follow the credit card's instructions to dispute this transaction. Customer service with plant company - is X rated. Nearly Natural - fake plants, fake customer service, fake concern about the integrity of this sham business practices. (Date of purchase 7/5/23. Date requesting cancellation 7/6/23.
Considering buying from Nearly Natural?!? "Fugget about it!"
Customer Service is non-existent. One package was delayed and then delivered damaged in transit, using FedEx. At first, communication by phone calls and emails seemed feasible. Now, it has become clear that there will be no options regarding any type of recourse. This all occurred well within the 30-day time frame. A complete waste of time and money! The next step is getting my bank involved...
QUALITY HAS GONE DOWNHILL, DON'T PURCHASE FROM THEM
I purchased 2 of the Nearly Natural 64" Bamboo Artificial Green Trunks UV Resistant (Indoor/Outdoor) Silk Trees.Bamboo trees and within 4 months they were peeling, the bark comes off, it's only paint. Nearly Natural will do nothing. I had ordered in the past and the products were nice, not anymore. They are a horrible company who could care less about their consumers. If their products were any good, they would warranty them for longer than 30 days. Stay away Customer Service is useless. There are much better options for faux trees out there WITH a warranty. 30 day's should tell you something.
Don't use the site. Use Amazon for their products.
The items, if they arrive correctly, are pretty good looking. But you are risking their cheap assembly, even cheaper packaging, and their abysmal customer service and it will have me only using Amazon to get their products from now on(less expensive anyhow).
Terrible service, questionable quality
This is regarding a $700, seven-foot, indoor/outdoor palm tree that sits far back in a covered, 3-walled alcove at the perimeter of our house. So, no direct sunlight, no rain, no extreme temps.
Regardless, the brownish outer layers of the fake crownshaft were partially split upon delivery, revealing what appears to be a white PVC core, and we were told by customer service at the time to use hot melt glue to pull the split pieces together. That worked, more or less. After 9 months, though, the same bottom area was practically shredded, with about 10 splits around its circumference, revealing the white plastic underneath. This was our exchange:
Me: (after attaching a photo) Please advise as to how I can fix this. I don’t think gluing the splits will be adequate on its own.
Nearly Natural: Unfortunately, the item is past the 30 days of delivery date and therefore no longer eligible for a return. Furthermore, we do not offer lifetime guarantee on our item…. You can attempt to fix the splits by using tape over them and then painting those sections for the item to have a single pattern.
Me: What kind of tape should I use? It, can you send me some of the material that has split so I can apply it? Please note that I did not request returning the item, nor do I expect a lifetime guarantee. However, I'd fully expect for something like this to be warrantied for at least year, and probably more like five.
Nearly Natural: You can use masking tape and then paint over it… Unfortunately, we do not have that material in spare quantities to ship independently.
Horrible products and worse service
Horrible products amd worse service. Outdoor uV resistant trees turned blue in 60 days. Customer service said too bad after 30!days. Never again
Buyer beware
Buyer beware! I purchased 2 "silk" trees that arrived and they were plastic and the metal pole (supposed to be the trunk) had the brown paint chipping off. I called and although they're taking them back (I've had them now for 15 minutes - just delivered) they do NOT refund the shipping. So you WILL pay to see if you like the product - but know they're not as advertised.
They are fobbing off COMPLETELY BROKEN…
They are fobbing off COMPLETELY BROKEN AND USELESS items through Wayfair! Wayfair is being difficult about refunds for these VERY expensive items. Sound like collusion?
The vase Came broken inside the box
The vase Came broken inside the box. The flowers do not look “natural”. Wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Complete waste of money.
Parts Missing; Nearly Natural Refused to replace them
I purchased a Nearly Natural christmas tree from Macy's. It was shipped to me in the Nearly Natural manufacturer's box. The box was a flimsy corrugated box, not like other boxes for Christmas trees. When I assembled the tree, I found that the three thumbscrews were missing from the box. Had they been secured to the tree during shipping, this would not have happened so this is poor packing on their part.
I wrote the company, explained what happened and asked for replacement thumbscrews. Mari wrote back and said they do not provide replacement parts.
They said I should try a hardware store. I doubt a hardware store would have thumbscrews to fit this stand.
Nearly Natural does not stand behind their product or take responsibility for their packaging. Do not buy a tree from them or a retailer. If there is a problem, you are on your own.
I will be returning the product to Macy's with a recommendation that they do not use this vendor. Macy's cannot provide a replacement tree because these are no longer available in their online catalog.
DYING TREE!!!
I bought one of Nearly Natural trees (palm) and around 2 years after purchase the leaves started FALLING off!!! 5 years later I can't even touch tree and leaves are falling off in mass amounts. I thought I was buying a QUALITY product, I thought buying artificial I didn't have to worry about it DYING, which is what is definitely happening :( ....I contacted company about what was happening and was told plants only last 2-3 years....so keep this in mind before purchasing their products.
Nothing like the picture
Nothing like the picture! Overpriced and poor quality! Save yourselves time and money and shop elsewhere!
Don’t get “fauxed” by Nearly Natural
I purchased a faux tree from Nearly Nautural. Just a few days after I received it I saw it was on sale. I wrote to the company and asked that they refund the difference. The customer service is not good. However, I eventually got a response from the company that it would not refund the difference. However, the company will let me return the tree and buy the tree a second time for the discounted price. I am disappointed and surprised that the customer service representative could not offer to resolve my issue in a way that is more efficient and environment friendly. Returning the tree and buying it again to get the refund is unreasonable and a waste of my resources and the company’s and negatively impacts the environment. There are some influencers out there pushing Nearly Natural pretty hard. I wonder if they know the issues with the company. On Trustpilot, Nearly Natural has about a 90% bad rating.
Waste of money
I ordered a wreath for fall and what I received looked nothing like the picture on the website. Nothing but a few leaves attached to a twig backing. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it was carelessly thrown in a cardboard box with no protection whatsoever. How anyone could ship a fragile item like that is beyond me. Got it on sale and it’s not even worth the sale price. If you’re thinking of ordering, don’t!!
In March 2021 I ordered a large silk…
In March 2021 I ordered a large silk palm. It arrived and looked incredibly fake. I called and, remarkably, someone actually picked up. He told me to put it back in the box, take it to UPS and send it back for a full refund. I did that in March 2021. From that point on it was radio silence. It is August 2022 and I am still waiting for my $108 refund. This is a horrible company. I own a business and if I treated my clients this way I would not have a business.
POOR QUALITY! The quality of their products are below…
The quality of their products are below average. Twice now, I've ordered large purchases of artificial plants. Granted, the first order, which was over $500, was for hanging baskets but I did not realize they were not for outdoor use so they faded. okay my mistake.
The second order was over $600 for 6 hanging ferns. The twine that they use to hang the baskets up is unraveling on five out of the six I purchased. I called customer service and they said because it was over 30 days they could not give me a refund or send replacements, but they did refund me 25%. Still that's a lot of money to spend for plants that only lasted not even 2 months. I will not buy from them again!
Horrible
Horrible, Horrible Customer Service. I ordered a tree that was Poorly Packaged. As a Result, I received a Heavily Damaged Potted plant. It had a Big hole and a Long crack which I sent pics to the company after I had called. Supervisor was even Worse! They wanted this piece of Crap shipped back to them Before they would Refund or Replace. Are U Kidding Me?
