Shopping via the app with online stores is a complete waste of time as the
Points don’t get added.
When you query them with customer service the frustration is off the scale as they just ask the same questions you have answered previously.
It takes so many messages to try to sort out, it’s just not worth it.

Use nectar points in sainsbury

Went shopping for my groceries in sainsbury and check out person was not helpful and told us that we could not spend any nectar points today because there was an issue with it and that we had to phone nectar ourselves to sort it out. Checkout worker did not tell us what was the issue. I found it very unprofessional and not customer friendly. I went on a nectar website later and could not find any issues with spending points.

WORST SERVICE AT INDIAN CALL CENTRE

Absolutely appalling.
Spoke to PAYAL in call center in India.
Rude woman who got very irritated and shouted over the top of me.
Time delay on call, bad reception and impossible to understand.
Nectar have no email contact, just this terrible service. They don’t even bother to reply to these posts. Hopeless.

The email you have here does not work

Customer service in India run by crooks

This company since it has moved its customers service operations to India
Is run by corrupt people in India
They are doing what the till staff used to do first when nectar first started
The staff used put points on their own cards when customers did not have nectar card
What is happening in India they have developed a scam where points are been sent to them by the various retailers but they are not passing them on to customers
Passing them on to other customers who they know well and splitting the points between them

Complete fraud what do you expect
I was promised my points would be added to my accounts going back from July/ August this year but still no points
After numerous phone call/ e mails
Still being given the run around they have all information to hand but they want proof
Which i have provided receipts screenshot from online transactions where i should have received the bonus points
But know require of proof of information on what products i should have received the points after nearly 3 months
Where I am supposed to get that

I been shopping at Sainsbury for over 25 years I am totally left frustrated and angry with customers service in India
I will be switching to Tesco and their loyalty card program I have been reliable informed that they do not have all these problems
I will cut my nectar card up and send back to them in India
And they can shove it where the sun don’t shine

I have cut up my nectar card.I tried to claim 74 points when I purchased something from Argos. The site says I’m not registered although I’ve had a card for years. I’m not going to jump through hoops for a few measly points. Can’t be bothered.

Compromised reused password

I have a “Compromised reused password” notification on my phone, but when I try to access the “nectaradpoints.com” website, it takes me to “AWD-it”?

Very odd. No way of getting my info deleted.

Complete fraud

Never get smart price or weekly bonus points when buy relevant products spent eternity on calling nectar helpline wanted photos of receipts when can see account online then they say points will be credited in thirty days, relying on fact people with busy lives won't remember. The points are never credited, nectar points and offers are a complete fraud and often smart shop prices are dearer than normal price in other stores

Spent over £1000 pounds when I did call them for my points customer services over confident and told me they don’t owe me points. When I called them back I was asked for debit/credit card number. Which I was told there not allowed to ask me for. On the phone on hold for over 10 minutes £50p a minute. Then told to go on chat services which took over 4 minutes to load up. Then was told to hand over copy of receipt with my debit card number on it. Then the chat service was not in service for around 15 min when it did go in reception was told to hold while they speak to manager when it was authorised. Was given points 3 months later as a Goodwill gesture. After spending over £7 on the phone and Data. And over 4 hours of my Time!

Nectar points rewards when booking…

Nectar points rewards when booking hotel accommodations with booking.com using a link through from the nectar app. Nectar won't take responsibility for the relationship between them & booking.com and neither will booking.com. I've got thousands of points pending according to my records and I can't get either company to take responsibility to say the app link doesn't actually work. I would avoid using nectar app portal to booking.com and use the cash back rewards available through booking.com app instead. I wish I had. I'm around 40.00 down in nectar shopping vouchers.

They sent me a promo code for…

They sent me a promo code for sainsburys home insurance, 3 months into my contract with sainsbury's home, they have now told me i am not eligable for the points. So people need to be very careful with these liars, They have breached their contract and now say i have to pay them to cancel my policy. I was going to cancel it earlier but they pursuaded me i will get those points, Only once the cool off period had expired they now try bully tactics. I think this will be going to court, You cannot mislead people to try and get customers then change your mind and make things up. It's a con.

This Company need investigating and a complete overhaul of their system, ftom the start when you phone and upon being told you are going to be put through to an Adviser and the line cutting off to the Advisers who are giving out incorrect advice, to being asked details, dates, amounts etc of the purchase you made. It really is Abysmal.

Nectar don’t payout. I bought home insurance for nearly £200. An offer I had to get 4000 points should have been credited by now (60 days) and it hasn’t. I’ve contacted customer service who are now saying fir me to wait a further 28 days whilst they look into it.

Just credit what you owe nectar and stop making customers chase their points.

A Very Unreliable Company and Service.

A Very Unreliable Company and Service. I got fed up with spending lots of money only to receive a paltry few points that, once received, were very difficult to spend! I tried to cancel my account via on line chat and was told it was cancelled and that I'd have a confirmation email that day. No email received! I rang them the next day and was told that the account was not close and it would take 30 days to close it! I looked for a link to complain and could not find one. I then received a text asking me to comment on the service received (with only positive options to select and at my expense!) Don't waste your time with this pathetic and unreliable company!
