Purchased a mattress, pillows and an Ottoman bed frame. The mattress is lovely but the bed frame was faulty and would not close properly. A month's worth of email correspondence ensued with different customer service advisors where none of them had read the previous correspondence. One advisor advised they would arrange collection of the frame and another asked if the mattress we were returning had a fire label (we were not returning the mattress). Nothing was arranged and we then had to chase again to check what was happening. We asked several times what the process was but received either irrelevant or vague answers. Responses were slow and very different depending on the advisor- I think there is a lack of attention to detail as the advisors picking up the case does not read through any previous correspondence or indeed look at how the original transaction was made (as I had to point out that we had a payment plan in place when they said we would get a refund straight into our bank account).
I have no confidence in them collecting the bed frame and issuing us with the correct refund in the correct way. We are extremely pleased with the mattress and the pillows but the bed frame does not close fully and I am quite astounded that it has been so difficult to organise a return and get any relevant information in a concise and timely manner from this company.
I believe customer service is not just about being pleasant in emails- it is actually owning the issue and making sure you know what the customer is asking before responding and actually addressing the issue itself rather than use template answers. In the end, we have opted not to return the frame but donate it ourselves as I don't trust this company to process a collection and a refund correctly and I am honestly so tired of this painfully long email exchange.

Disappointed with this mattress, large piece of firm foam with grooves cut into it with two other pieces of thin foam on top. My backside was constantly sinking into a depression. Not worth the almost £500 cost.

The mattress was fine at first, my partner even bought new slats for our bed frame to make sure we met the specs listed for optimal support. After about 6 months, the mattress started to sag in the centre, causing issues with our backs. We contacted Nectar, they sent a subcontractor out to measure and inspect the mattress. They said there wasn't enough sag to deem it faulty, and Nectar later confirmed. A grand on a mattress that causes us issues, but will only be deemed faulty if there's 40mm sag visible when no one is on it, ignoring how sleeping surfaces behave when used, and how even small differences in support can cause big issues. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, or the mattress. Worst purchase we've ever made when considering expense and now the need to find a replacement. Poor.

Bought a nectar mattress 5 years ago. Mattress was initially very comfortable, but soon I found it to be quite hot when sleeping, especially in the summer. About a year or so later, I found it started to sag and deform in the centre, especially when sharing with my partner.
5 years later and after about 2 or 3 hours of sleep it is so uncomfortable that it wakes us up.
Contacted nectar about the 10 year warranty and they sent a man from a different company out to inspect and he said it was fine, so nectar will not honour the warranty and replace it.
I have since bought a hybrid sprung mattress and it is so much more comfortable, even compared to when the nectar mattress was new.
Would not recommend the mattress or company.

I found customer services to be great. The call was answered really quickly and my issue was managed and resolved efficiently. The staff were very professional and polite and it was just nice to deal with a decent customer service call, so thank you.

Really happy with both service and the mattress! Nectar arranged collection of my old mattress which was quick and easy. Delivery was straight forwards. The mattress itself is way better than anticipated, we wanted a soft temper mattress but £2000 was a lot to spend, then I found nectar for a fraction of that price so went for it and I’m so glad I did. Both me and my husband are very happy with it 😊

So easy to order, delivery right to the door, mattress's easy to unpack, not much smell, ready to use within 2 hours. So much lighter than my old Tempur one. Warms up quickly on cold nights. Very comfortable. Not many better than this and I only got essential type. Very pleased.

I bought this mattress 5 years ago. At first it was done. After 3 years it started to sag. I rotate the mattress as advised. It was inspected and told its within normal wear.. However it's clearly not comfortable anymore. Nectar just say give a set response to customers with this issue. I wonder if anyone has ever been able to get a new mattress with the 'lifetime warranty.' I think I'll buy cheap IKEA mattresses now as it's overall better value for money since they last about as long.

If I had previously been a Nectar US customer I'd give Nectar UK a 4 star. I moved to the UK and wanted to rebuy the same mattress with the comforter and sheets. I was honestly disappointed in how cheap the sheets and duvet insert were compared to my US nectar ones. If I would've known the quality difference I wouldn't have bought it. The mattress is fine, very comparable

After having a Tempur mattress for over 20 years we decided it was time to replace it so after much googling we settled on a Nectar memory foam (big mistake). The mattress has developed a lump in the middle and my partner has a small piece he can lie on and has to be careful when turning over as it pushes him out of the bed. Nectar sent out 2 inspectors who said it was fine although they could feel the lump but said it was because we don’t sleep in the middle of the bed. So if you sleep in the middle it will be fine if not DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Don't buy in the 10 year warranty lie, they won't replace it.
Just had an assement done, as its clearly visible that the matress its not even and I have told the chap that I did rotate it. I get a report deemed as not faulty therefore not replacing. Its been only 3 years and its already less
firm as it was before. With this money, I will probably get another matress most likely better quality. It did last a year with no issues but defiently not buying it again. Won't let me put add a review on their website. I won't waste my breath but don't get fool by these flashing waranty details.

I’ve had tempur mattresses for years. However I felt I needed more support as I age and did my research on the nectar hybrid. Best of both worlds. I loved the sound of edge to edge support.
I’m also fed up of spending a lot of money on memory foam mattresses that I feel stuck in when I want to move in the night.
I have a bad back so being able to move during the night and easier to get out of in the morning really is essential to me with a back injury.
Now if you can live without the washable cover that unzips and the price tag of other brands then here we go.
I had my doubts because the nectar is so competitive priced!
I like the 365 day trial and I’ve spoken to customer service and I like the way they operate. I feel I trust the brand already.
They assured me if the hybrid wasn’t to my liking I could swap out for their memory foam mattress.
I’m an extremely pedantic fella when it comes to this because I’ve led such an active physical life. I know how important the mattress is to enable quality sleep and recovery.
Delivery was prompt and smooth.
Everything as it should be.
Slight odour came off the mattress for around 48 hours. I left it 72 hours before sleeping on to fully shape up.
First week of sleeping I had my doubts.
I’ve been pure memory foam since they came on the market.
Second week I tossed and turned a lot.
However as I did so I realised I had no jarring of the back and the edge to edge support really is super beneficial to me! I’m a big guy as well and this mattress has no problems supporting me.
Third week started to feel more comfortable and also dawned on me how cooling to sleep on the nectar hybrid is, I’m a very hot sleeper.
I’m five weeks in now and I’m already getting full nights sleep and feeling very refreshed in the mornings and able to easily exit the bed with edge to edge support.
My back is improving again with Osteopath care and without doubt the introduction of nectar hybrid is helping .
Still early days -however so positive in such a short time.
So far I’m very impressed with this sensibly priced hybrid that is living up to all that has been said.
Now what is super impressive and makes the brand trustworthy is the lifetime guarantee along with the 365 night trial.
They have faith in their product and with me being of the type that has to have things 100% - this is very helpful.
I’m very happy so far with my decision to go with Nectar.
I totally recommend this product for support and don’t be concerned if you are a big guy- no worries!!

the mattress was delivered and from the very first day it was so comfortable. We are now two months later and its still like sleeping on a cloud.

Had this mattress for only 5 years. A huge dip has formed that leaves us both with a bad back. The warranty suggests a dip of this age - for it to be the manufacturers fault - is 4.5cm deep, ours is 3cm deep. Even the engineer who came out to test this said it's a ridiculous expectation for someone to lie in such a deep hole. Would never buy from nectar again!

We were really pleased with our Nectar mattress at first – it was comfortable and supportive. However, just five years in it has developed a serious sagging issue on one side, and the middle now feels lumpy and very uncomfortable, leading to back pain.
The so-called “forever warranty” is, in reality, almost impossible to claim on. After speaking to others and looking into it ourselves, it seems the company will do anything to avoid helping, especially if there are any stains at all. With a toddler in the house, stains are inevitable, and that instantly disqualifies you from any warranty support.
For the price and the promises Nectar make, we expected a mattress that would last far longer and a company that would stand by their guarantee. Sadly, neither has been the case, and we’re now having to look elsewhere for a replacement. Buyers beware – don’t be fooled by the “forever warranty.”

Simply awful mattress. Don’t be tempted by the partial refund they offer you to keep the mattress rather than using the trial and sending it back. You will end up like me, with a bad back by your 30s. Also agreeing with other comments, it’s got worse over time, sagging where slept on. We reported it to their forever warranty to be told it was “still in spec.” Honestly, nectar, you need to revisit your specs because I’m sleeping in a well-bent-up like a banana. Probably should not offer the forever warranty as it’s a bit scammy. Ours is heading to the bin.
