Loosing confidence FAST! Yes you can find some awesome deals on Nellis. But in the past 3-4 months about 2/3 of our winnings have been broken or defective. Now THEY are setting a minimum bid on things... See more

I both love and hate Nellis Auction
I both love and hate Nellis Auction. I have gotten some really great deals, but I have gotten really bad deals as well.
You have 7 DAYS to verify your item and return if needed. I can't say this loud enough "VERIFY YOUR ITEMS ASAP."
I live 2 hrs from Denver and have not been able to return bad items I've purchased. These are even on items that say "No missing parts", "Functional", "No Damage", "New", and "In Box."
Be Careful! From now on, I will be checking all my items before leaving Denver!
I have recently become a customer of…Nellis Auction in Delran, NJ
I have recently become a customer of Nellis Auction and my purchases have been a 50:50 mix of quality.
I ordered a set of 3 lightning cable 3' long and the package containe1 1-3', 1-6' and 1-10'. Who needs such long cables. Then I bought a fishing rod & reel combination and the rod was 3' longer than listed and there was NO Reel. The item was reposted several times after my return with additional notes and a two star rating. Lastly I just won a Colamy office chair a week ago that was supposed to have a lumbar support and folding arm rests. I should have checked before I assembled it, but it had no lumbar support, no folding arms and it was a big and tall chair that is MUCH too wide (for up to 400 lbs). The picture and description were totally wrong. Worst of all one of the arbors connecting the chair arms was out of alignment so I had to drill a part to make it fit. I would love to return it but it's fully assembled and the box discarded.
Paid $7 for a broken speaker.....
Paid $7 for a broken speaker...... Bought a charger for it on Amazon for $21 to see if it just needed a charge and it still doesn't work or cut on.........
Yep................ Be careful shopping here get simple things like rugs or decor electronics though are tricky

They are selling products from Temu and getting 3 times the price that Temu sells it for. A Portable power pack that Temu sells for 120 is currently bid at 287. That is criminal
I used to love Nellis auction
I used to love Nellis auction. All of their locations had great service, better prices and I looked forward to browsing their thousands of offerings. Over the last year the company has seemed to have shifted their priorities from form & function to solely maximizing profit.
I understand that making money is the ultimate goal but how can you justify changes such as raising minimum bids from $1 to $3, $4 or $5, the addition of "extra time" during the last 30 seconds of auctions with established closing times and the emergence of what can only be described as "suspicious bidding patterns" where items are routinely being bid up to and sometimes even exceeding MSRP for molested or incomplete product???
It's difficult to accept these changes taking place while I watch your customer base being forced to endure increasingly vague/wholly inaccurate descriptions and photos, the growing frequency of items won at auction being lost or unaccounted for all while being tended to by so many new undertrained and disinterested staff.
This is my perspective as a customer whom has spent tens of thousands of dollars at your various locations and estate sales. After nearly 1,700 items purchased, I expect better from Nellis Auction and am no longer satisfied nor excited by my shopping experience as I had been in the past. I will attach a screenshot to verify my voluminous claim.
This doesn't even address the parking situation at your Dean Martin location which has become nearly untenable. With the introduction of numerous smaller rival auctions houses popping up all around the valley, it is only a matter of time until Nellis' market share dominance is challenged unless course correction can be implemented.

I loved bidding and the things I got…
I loved bidding and the things I got were so inexpensive but the quality was great.i went to pick up my items the next day and it took all of 5 minutes the guy put the stuff in my car and I was gone it was great I had such a wonderful time looking at all the nice stuff I can't wait to get more
I have been buying from Nellis auctions…
I have been buying from Nellis auctions for over 2 years now averaging a package twice a month. During this time I have not had a single bad experience yet. Now I have had an auction item broken and was not described. Nelllis took care of it immediately and I had the money returned to me within 2 business days. I can’t ask for anything better. 5 stars from me.

NO LONGER WHAT THEY USED TO BE
It was a great start in the beginning, got a number of great deals it became additive. There has been an erosion of company ethics in product description and poor customer service. Ever notice they go out of there way not to show you the size of attire. They go out of there way to photograph shoes/sneakers but not the side that shows the size. sometimes it's disclosed. I have received products that stay new and find the manual and accessories missing. Customer service is awful you call and there is always 75 people on the que before you. leave a message they won't call. A few days ago I found an item in my cart I did not bid on yet it stated I won the bid ($76.00) for a $90.00 suggested price product. I noticed the bid closed at 9;29pm yet it alleged I won an hour after it closed. Customer service took it off but charge a fee they then waived. No customer service today. (Monday 2/3/25) calling to speak to a supervisor. Looks like I will closed my account until they get their act together. Proceed with caution folks
Don’t waste your time and gas
Don’t waste your time and gas. Not worth it. Thank yourself later
Love Nellis
Love Nellis, but people please STOP bidding when an item still has 22+ hours left. You guys are driving up the prices. Simply just heart the item and go back to it before it ends. The only bids that count are the ones right before the auction ends. Common sense please!
Nellis auction never disappoints
Nellis auction never disappoints. After Christmas, I decided I wanted to see what they had & possibly get something for myself. I scored a pair of awesome running shoes! And for terrific price. I was also able to get my son a remote control army tank. Love the items they have there. Definitely my favorite place to shop.
I've been Nellis Auction customer since…
I've been Nellis Auction customer since 2023. Now I'm very frustrated with their customer service and the product they put on auction. They are not truthful what they are doing. just an example please call them and wait, nobody would respond you, never call you back, instead the automated voice always says something like 'there are 10 persons ahead of you' even if you wait for 2 hours. Also, It sounds like they hired somebody to bid on their behalf just to outbid the regular genuine bidders to go up almost up to the retail price. Never trust on them that none of the items is new but the amazon returned one. Most of the items Nellis Auction sells are defective, wrong model and mostly damaged. Please always do check the price of the items in amazon. com site to just avoid overpaying during bidding. Also, it is really not logical to pay 15% buyer’s premium for such a poor customer service. Are we just paying 15% premium for the pick and drop service or for the operation cost of the Nellis Auction? Not justified! These are the honest feedback on the Nellis Auction site best on my experience with them.
Helpful friendly staff
Helpful friendly staff! Love shopping here at Nellis auction! Great prices great chances to win bids!
Unreliable and bad customer service
It is definitely possible to get some good deals at this place, but there's a hidden cost of spending your time and gas money to pick up merchandise that has a high chance of just being garbage. I would be especially careful with large items that are a lot of effort to move or any item at a warehouse that's a long drive away. In fact, I would strongly recommend not purchasing such items at all.
I tried twice to buy a couch from nellis. The first was on a pallet and completely wrapped in shipping foam and plastic so I could not inspect it on sight. Upon bringing it home and unwrapping it I found that it was an entirely different couch than in the listing and I had to haul it back to the warehouse for a return. The second couch was at a much farther warehouse and came boxed, so I once again could not give it a thorough inspection. I got home after driving an hour each way and find that this couch that nellis had rated 5 star condition was only half a couch so I once again had to go out of my way to make a return.
In these two purchases I received nothing from nellis while they actually benefitted from my effort because they now know what the items actually are and can list them appropriately. They have actually done exactly that already in the case of the first couch.
The customer service I received further frustrated the whole situation. The customer service rep I spoke to on the phone lied to me at least twice. First she said she didn't have the authorization to offer me any more than a $15 dollar inconvenience credit, but a while later she was suddenly magically able to offer $20. She also said she could only compensate me anything for the second return because I didn't call the help line about the first return so they didn't have any record of it. I told her I could pull up my return receipt and give her the information and, again like magic, she actually had the first return pulled up right in front of her. Still, she insisted she could offer no more compensation but said the general manager at the warehouse might be able to when I made my return.
Whereas the phone agent was at least polite, the manager at the warehouse was both unhelpful and rude. He mocked me for expecting to receive the actual item I paid for. He told me they had no obligation to make the situation right because other auction houses are even worse. He refused to acknowledge that nellis had failed to properly inspect products they rated 5 stars and he dismissed the whole situation as me "having a little bad luck with a couple of couches" (his exact wording). After making excuses, berating me, and gaslighting me he said the most he could do to fix the situation was to give me an additional $10 inconvenience credit for a grand total of $30 as compensation for 4 hours of my time wasted doing the auction house's job, $30 that I can only spend at nellis to once again be pushed around should I happen to purchase an item that nobody ever bothered to check.
I won a bid for various items
I won a bid for various items, but when I went to pick up the items. I was told they didn't have the item.
Inflating bids & bot bidding
I've been using nellis for yrs. It was great but now it completely sucks. The same items continuously come up and the bid skyrockets even when no one is bidding. Items that I saved months ago randomly pop back up in my watch list over and over again. I have complained about the fake bids multiple times and nellis swears it's not a bid bot or internal bidding to drive up the price. I find it highly unlikely bidders are bidding then canceling the same items for weeks to months. This place has turned into a joke. Items listed as complete then the same day I win the item gets split into the following auction now i have to return the item since its not complete. Come on Nellis don't be like Auction Nation or soon enough you're going to loose all of your business. The word is spreading!
Scammers
Scammers. Don’t buy anything. 3 out of 4 orders were fake. Scam, don’t waste your time.
Sometimes add is deceiving and picture is misleading.
Most items are properly described, but some items that have been used are not pictured correctly are they only show the box and not the mangled contents.
I absolutely love Nellis Auction
I absolutely love Nellis Auction. I am so hooked. I just don’t like the extended 30 minutes. It’s kind of unfair.
