Fraud, plain and simple.
This fraud operation sells returned items as new and lies about it to customers.
We heard from one of their disappointed customers who received a defective item and was told that the item was new - and yes, this is a bit odd considering they do announce on their website that they sell returns, but I guess they were just that desperate to not refund a $10 purchase.
As we are the manufacturer of this item, we know with 100% certainty that the item isn't new and that Nellis Auction is brazenly lying. Don't believe 'em, folks.
My review of Mesa Nellis
Great shopping place, good prices, easy to pick up items at Mesa location. Employees are kind and fast. Returns are made easy too!
I was also double charged for items and…
I was also double charged for items and it ended up over drafting my bank account $315. It happened on June 10th and I still haven’t recieved a dime of the money they stole . My account keeps accumulating over drafts fees every day that they refuse to return the money . I have filed a complaint with the attorney general and I suggest everyone else who they stole money from do the same
I got double charged in my credit card…
I got double charged in my credit card and every time I open a ticket to ask for status on the refund, they send the same pre-established message and close the ticket. The message only says we are working with our bank, but no estimate date, or current actions. Any other place will process a return within 10 days but not these scammers. What a rip off. Stay away from them.
Unauthorized Charges Yet No Refunds! $850!!!
I have been waiting for over half a month for refunds from them and every time I open a ticket they send a pre-canned response back stating their bank is working on processing errors and they then close claim. 3 are for charges I never made totally $700.00! they said they had a system error causing duplicate processing. these were not duplicate processings. these were not amounts for anything purchased, and nothing was even purchased close to those charge dates! the other items were for a canopy tent that was returned on June 4, they scanned it as received, and yet have not refunded the $120! then there are 2 other items never received, advised them they were not received, and they are still charging me! do NOT save a crefit card to your profile, and I highly suggest you don't even buy from them! the majority is broken, missing half, falsely advertised, or used! someone else's blood and bed bugs even came on an item; they are beyond disgusting and thief's!
I love this site can’t get enough and…
I love this site can’t get enough and anyone I turn on to it says the same thing it’s addicting. It’s like being in a casino with out being in one lol but in real note you can find mostly anything and everything you’re looking for. The only thing is I wish when paying you could have more than three day to choose from to pick up items when live out of town.
Oh Nellis Auction
Oh Nellis Auction, where do I even begin? I came for the “lightly used” treasures and stayed for the high school talent show happening at the pickup site. It's not every day you find a place where “minor cosmetic flaws” really means “held together by hope and duct tape.”
But let’s talk about the real gem of this operation — the pickup process. It’s like a choose-your-own-adventure game run entirely by unsupervised teenagers who just discovered sarcasm and power. Want to know why you're waiting 45 minutes while they skip over your order? Just ask! You'll get a creative writing exercise from each of them. My personal favorite was, “We're waiting on your item to come down from the truck,” while I could literally see it sitting five feet away.
Honestly, I’m not even mad. I’m impressed. It takes real dedication to describe items like a marketing poet and then deliver a pickup experience that feels like a high school group project with no teacher in sight.
Come for the deals. Stay because they won’t bring your stuff out until they’re done pretending you're on a hidden camera show.
What happened to Nellis Auction
What happened to Nellis Auction? Not only did they change their bidding policy/procedure, but the items are now mostly broken or used; which is disgusting when considering some of the items. Used blankets, bedding and dog beds,...Ewwwwww!
I used to purchase countless items from this site, however, it now has become a huge disappointment. Every time I try to give them another chance, it ends up being the same let down. Sad, their days appear to be numbered with the way it's going. I can get this crap at garage sales.
Don't like the changes I am seeing.
My wife and I have purchased hundreds of items from Nellis Auction over the past several years. We live in Las Vegas. Our experience in the past was very positive. The selection of items available were very good and the majority of the time the items were as described and in good condition. Over the past several months the available items has decreased significantly, and many items I have purchased are broken, missing parts, or not as described. I've seen many items that I returned as defective and obviously broken and unusable were posted again on the site with no mention it is broken. Raising the minimum bids is also a change I don't like. I'm assuming that since MAC.BID opened in Las Vegas the end of 2024 they are getting most of the Amazon returns which would explain what I am seeing.
Raising Minimum Bid Prices = Bad Idea
I love Nellis Auction and I have purchased probably around a hundred items from them. The fact that they have raised their minimum bid price is such a bummer. I would bid on soooooo many more items if they still started them at $1. So many things no one is gonna buy that I would take off their hands, but if the bid starts at $8, no way! Go back to the $1 starting bids! I’m sure they will lose no money doing this.
I was introduced to Nellis by a friend…
I was introduced to Nellis by a friend over a year ago, and between the 2 of us have purchased over 100 things from them. In that time we have had NO issues with picking things up or returning anything. (My friend had to back out 2 times from auctions and has returned 1 item, and still nothing negative from the company on her account or anything. The pick up process is like a very well oiled machine to say, and employees have been very courteous every time I have gone there. Will continue to use them as my go-to auction site, very highly recommend them! (btw I used today's date as the "Date of experience" for this review as I have had multiple encounters with them and all have been great).

Novice Bidder Gets Taken
I was novice to bidding on Nellis and excited when I won my bids. I drove over two hours to retrieve the items that were both described as “NOT having any missing pieces.” I didn’t know to open the items while there and exhaustingly review each box to ensure it had all the pieces. As you guessed, it didn’t and it wasn’t worth the drive and time to get a refund for my 100+ dollars for 2 items. Zero out of 10 experience. Total waste of time and money with nothing more than a “you should have checked or returned in 7 days from customer service.” Unless you have time and money to waste or you live close then don’t bother.
Nella‘s auction/ Price increase
hello, I am small business out in Peoria, I have been using Nellis auction for about a year now, I have probably spent over $5000 with them, they have helped me get my business off the ground in different ways.
However, with this new change of raising their price to $5 minimum, with only a seven day window to return.
I’m sorry to say, but I will not be using them again until they lower their prices back down to what it was in the beginning. Thank you.
Poor service, can't call them, must send email for help
Nellis has changed bidding policies, allowing open bidding indefinitely vs. ending auctions at the stated time; Nellis will cancel items won/paid for if you try to reschedule. Finally, about two-thirds of their stuff is broken, missing parts, or has the wrong item, leaving you 7 days to drive back to Nellis to return. Our family has bought over 200 items in the past, but the hassle today, April 2025, is worth it. I'm done with them; they have lost my business.
I love Nelly‘s auction what I like most very fast…
I love Nelly‘s auction what I like most about it is that I can return any product that’s not working as long as it doesn’t say no return Very fast and efficient check-in and check out.
Loosing confidence FAST
Loosing confidence FAST! Yes you can find some awesome deals on Nellis. But in the past 3-4 months about 2/3 of our winnings have been broken or defective. Now THEY are setting a minimum bid on things that are too frequently trash. Bidding is no longer fun, time to Stop!
Will no longer be a buyer on Nellis
Will no longer be a buyer on Nellis. In the last couple years, I have spent thousands of dollars at their auction in Mesa. Over the last 48 hours, they have raised minimum bid prices to $3-$6, whereas they were $1, with no notification. AND their website still says $1! I had bid on several items Monday night when prices were listed as $1 minimum, but I put in a $5 maximum bid, and I was the ONLY person that bid, and was charged the $5 on Tuesday. VERY DECEITFUL! WOW! I can’t believe they can get by with this.
My review is the whole truth and…
My review is the whole truth and nothing but truth. Nellis is fun and exciting. Nellis is addicting. Nellis customer service on site is absolutely the best I’ve ever encountered. The employees from the beginning of the line to the end of the line are always smiling, courteous, helpful and willing to do what it takes to make customer happy. They have always returned items I was not satisfied with. You can have store credit or your method of payment credited. Please note as others have stated you must follow this checklist. 1. When bidding check Amazon for correct retail value for every item you’re not sure about. 2. Read notes and look at all pictures 3. Check product in parking lot to see if it is as described. 4. Check at home that it is in good condition, has all its parts and does what it claims to do. I have spent a lot of money at Nellis and I have saved even more. When you’re bidding on something and you win at $1 understand it’s a gamble win some lose some. I have found that getting a gazebo for $1 is quite satisfying. I can’t complain one bit when I didn’t read the fine print in the notes that the awesome pair of shoes I just won had a shoe missing. Lol So read the notes !! It’s easy to get caught in a bidding war I’ve seen people pay way over retail just to win. Do your homework and have fun. It’s been the greatest shopping experience for me and everyone I’ve told about it.
