Not emough yet but gradually improved.
In late October, I was shocked when I first picked up my won items. Both items were the wrong ones! The price was too low to make a return trip worth it.
But after about 6 weeks, when I went back, things had changed a lot. The items were correct this time and delivered fast, and the parking system was really good — no need to reverse, just drive straight out. It felt safe and easy.
Still, the location is hard to get to and the traffic is bad, which is a shame.
My experience is great
My experience is great. I get all the stuff in a good and in a packing packets. The returns are also hassle free. The delivery is on time always. I am very happy with Nellis Auction.
For the past year or so there are…
For the past year or so there are people bidding over what the item sells for by the posted estimated cost and then most all is returned by nellis auction rules of returned items. Then the same items are posted again and I've written down the item numbers I bid on and they are the same items for days that I'm bidding on because somebody wants to play games on the bidding platform. It's getting real old dealing with people don't do their jobs nor do they properly write comments on damage nor do they check it for damage. I've gotten door womens shirts Spaghetti strap shirts in place of new mens underwear that I won on a bid. The answer I hear from nellis alot is we can't check everything. People use to get lots of auction deals here but now it's just another store for people to shop at. Unreal that people don't add to their bid the fees and taxes that go onto the final cost.

I was sent a $10 voucher to entice me to buy again, so I did. But, the $10 was not applied to my purchase. When I asked, I was told sometimes there's a glitch, but they couldn't do anything about it.
Love Nellis Auction
Love Nellis Auction, I’ve won over 300 items. I’ve had a few problems but they fixed them immediately. When you go to pick up your items they bring them to your car in seconds! When you call you actually speak with a person unlike Macbid!

I love Nellis Auction it’s much better than Macbid. NA items are in much better shape and if not you can return them. Their fees are reasonable and you have a good amount of time to p/u items. When picking up you are in and out of there in seconds!
BAD PRODUCT
I've been bidding at Nellis auction for several years. I have purchased in excess of $100,000.00. I have enjoyed my experience until recently. It's to my understanding that when you win a bid, the money is taken from my account, when I arrive to pick up my items (3 chairs) they changed and decided and said I could have only 1 chair.
Out of the last 20 items that I purchased, 10 items were miss labeled.
1. metal cutting saw, said minor damage. It was unusable.
2. rumba vacuum, said new. didn't work.
3. chainsaw was absolute garbage.
4. 3 100' steel hoses, said new. All 3 were nonfunctional, leaked bad.
5. chainsaw electric sharpener, said new, no missing parts. It was missing parts, I had to purchase from Amazon.
6. oscillating heater/fan, said new. the off/on switch is broken.
These are just a few.
I drive 200 miles to Nellis, returning items is a waste of time.
I have notified Nellis that I will no longer bid at their auctions. Like they really care
Worthless Garbage Dealers
company went down the toilet. seriously shady practices of inaccurate descriptions, they will describe non functioning merchandise as "working perfectly", the images they post purposely hide damage, particularly on tvs. They will title an auction with a brand and a stock image that have nothing to do with the item being bid on. TVs with broken screens now count as "exellent condition". absolute waste of time and money. They couldn't sustain by running an auction house so they resorted to scamming.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I was suppose to be refunded more than what they actually did. They told me in 5 emails (because there is no customer service line to actually call) that it shows on the site that they were all refunded. The next one told me to list the item numbers when I had already done this multiple times which is time consuming, but that is what they are banking on. You not wanting to sit on their site all day long. The quality of items has declined and now I am more often then not receiving things either empty, damaged, missing and their answer is to look at the photos better, yet they are right in front of the item are too lazy to open it so we can see what is inside if any! As if again our time and gas doesn't matter to go return items that depending on location could be clear across town! I have had things that looked fine in photos and yet when I picked them up were missing a part/portion, which means the photos are either inaccurate or someone on the inside is stealing. If you do have a discrepancy with an item, they will NOT allow you to explain or just return it, they will allow you to say what the REASON was, however why do that if it does not matter and in the end the only option is RETURN WITH FEE! So even if you do not agree to the SAID FEE, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE or let it just go in time, in which you ALSO PAY A FEE, however if anything is THEIR FAULT like their site not being accessible for 4 hours and you lose items, WHY ARE THEY NOT ADDING CREDIT to accounts for their lack of either professionalism or CUSTOMER SERVICE! They are making a huge massive income off some things that should have been dropped at the GOOD will and FEES without permission other than they pull you into their TINY PRINT when you registered for an account!
Nellis has made picking up 1000% better…
Nellis has made picking up 1000% better and the overall experience is five star. However, the bidding process is pretty questionable. If I outbid the current bid and it shows that I did not bid enough, I stop bidding after that. Then I see it back on the auction the next day. AI?Questionable.
Buyer Beware
I have gotten items that were completely wrong, expired, broken or non-working, even though I only bid on 5 star items. Watever you do, do NOT throw out any packaging before you try the item.
Today, I waited for almost an hour AFTER parking to finally get my items. Noone came to me. I had to find someone 4 times, the last time being the manager. (I may have made the internet, I was THAT angry). I only ordered simple items, nothing expensive or that requires power (lesson learned - see above). After this experience, I will not go there again. Best to avoid them and the hassle that comes with it.
You can get some great finds at Nellis…
You can get some great finds at Nellis Auction and at a fraction of the price. Some reviews state that parts are missing or item is not as described. Remember that the items from Nellis Auction are Amazon returns and the folks checking the items out are not experts in the items they are evaluating and they can't possibly catch everything. I have personally bought over 100 items from Nellis Auction and maybe returned close to 5% because of damage or inaccurate description but the 95% I did keep, was brand new (or close to it) and saved 25%-90% of the retail value if I would've bought elsewhere. This place is unique and is available to the general public. I only post because of the overall rating on trust pilot. Don't agree with it and this is a company that is trustworthy. If you do happen to get an item that you don't want for any reason, you can return it on the spot!
Don't believe the QUALITY STARS
Do NOT believe the QUALITY STARS. Parts are ALWAYS missing or damaged, even if it indicates 5 Stars.
Classic Case of Bait-and-Switch
I recently had the unfortunate experience of participating in Nellis Auction, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to warn others. Initially, when they opened, it seemed like they were on the right track, providing accurate descriptions of items and maintaining a level of integrity in their auctions. However, it has become painfully clear that they have devolved into what feels like an overpriced flea market.
While you can still find some decent deals, if you’re in the market for new items, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Nellis Auction heavily advertises items as "new," but upon closer inspection, it’s evident that many of these items are far from that. I’ve personally bid on several items that were touted as new, only to discover once I got home that they were used, damaged, or often non-functional.
The last few auctions I participated in were particularly disheartening. We made sure to double-check the descriptions before bidding, but upon opening the items, we found that each one was either broken, didn’t work, or clearly showed signs of wear. It’s frustrating to think that someone is marking these items in their backend system without any regard for accuracy, almost as if they’re just “pencil whipping” the listings without any real inspection.
It’s truly sad because I wanted to believe in this auction platform and hoped to find quality items at reasonable prices. However, the rapid decline in their standards has left me feeling disillusioned. After the time and effort wasted on these last few purchases, along with the consistent misrepresentation of products, I felt it necessary to report them to the Better Business Bureau. This situation is starting to resemble a classic case of bait-and-switch, where customers are lured in with false promises.
I urge others to be cautious when considering Nellis Auction. It’s essential to know how this business is currently operating and the potential for being taken advantage of. If you value your time and money, you might want to steer clear of this auction house until they can prove they’ve made significant improvements.

Misleading Listings
Misleading Listings, Broken Items, and Scripted Support — Do Better
Review:
I've spent $1,500+ a month with Nellis Auction and have now dealt with multiple misrepresented listings, broken items, and shady post-auction edits — followed by nothing but scripted replies and deflection from their support team.
Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 Monitor was listed as “Looks new” and 5 stars. Once I won and asked questions, they quietly changed it to 3 stars and admitted major damage.
Andis trimmers were listed as functional — showed up dead, wouldn’t even turn on.
A frameless mirror was made to seem like a vanity piece — totally misrepresented.
And a $1,500 liquidation pallet I bought? After listing everything, I made $75 total. Most of it was broken or incomplete.
When I brought this to their attention, I was met with nothing but robotic emails quoting their terms. No real accountability, no fixes — just more deflection.
Buyers: be cautious. The 5-star ratings they show on broken items are misleading, and if you catch it after the auction ends — they’ll fix the listing after you already paid and penalize your buyer account anyway.
gross used returns
Oh my gosh! This was in a box so I felt it was new and clean while I was laid up with a sprained ankle. I got it out several days later and it was so smelly and disgusting. - what Employee repacks this at your auction to pass it off as new and usable to a bidder????
Nellis Auction in Denver
I have enjoyed my items, and I am impressed how fast and friendly everyone is. A special shout out to Emma in Denver! Emma was friendly and offered great service. Thanks for all the awesome stuff.
I am extremely disappointed
I am extremely disappointed, I drove two hours to pick up a mirror in which the app stated was brand new no damages. However, when we got home and opened it up, we had several obvious damages to it.
THEY HAVE ANOTHER ADDICT
I am fairly new to Nellis but most of my purchases have been brand new. Some are without boxes and some are still the original box. None of my items have been broken or missing anything. I don’t quite understand the 15% buyer premium though, when you buy an item for a dollar then they add on the % and it’s no longer a dollar on top of sales tax. I guess that’s to cover their overhead. When I pick them up the service s excellent and I have never been there longer than 5 mins, the traffic to get there is my only complaint but that’s on Texas not Nellis. I will continue until something bad happens but for now I’m quite pleased.
