I had the best day at Steve’s sneaker making workshop! Half the fun was picking colour combinations, then under Steve’s expert guidance I managed to create the most wonderful pair of hi-tops. I 100% recommend & can’t stop showing my friends photos of my handiwork 😁

My sister and I had the most fantastic day making our own sneakers. We chose our sole colour, leathers, thread and laces and spent the day cutting, stitching and chatting ❤️ Steve was a great host and made the day lots of fun at his beautiful workshop in Clevedon. With just the right amount of instruction and support and a small group size of 4, so we all got the space and attention we needed. We are both really chuffed with the quality and look of our finished products and they are also super comfy! 🥰 We would thoroughly recommend a workshop with Steve and we had a lovely memorable day

When asked if Steve could provide a team building workshop for a group of 22 colleagues, the answer was a resounding yes, with exceptionally timely replies to my many, many, emails.
The workshop held the attention of each & everyone of us, not difficult given Steve’s enthusiasm & passion for his craft.
Steves patience at the numerous requests to ‘please can you explain again’, & having to unpick, over enthusiastic stitching, was remarkable.
I can honestly say all 22 women thoroughly enjoyed the workshop & were extremely proud of the end product, a hand stitched key ring.
Thanks Steve, I can’t recommend this workshop enough, 10/10.

I’ve purchased several items from Steve now over the years since he started the business and it’s been great to see its continue to grow with more products being added to his range.

All of these have been superb and aged to perfection as the leather changes in look with its use on a daily basis. My wife’s tote bag was a huge hit as an Xmas present and my wallet always gets noticed, my belt and watch strap finish the collection off nicely. I’ve sent friends his way as I have no reservations in the fact his service and the quality of the products are up there with the very best.

I had a query when ordering which was answered quickly and helpfully, and the item was absolutely brilliant- excellent quality. It was a present for a relative, and he was thrilled- I can't fault the leatherwork or the customer service!

Have several gorgeous belts and a wallet from Nelson and Forge. Made to last a lifetime, the quality and craftsmanship are second to none. Steve pays so much attention to detail - you can see the absolute pride he takes in his work. Unique, excellent value for money and genuinely hand made by a farmer!

I’m so pleased with my tote bag. The leather and colour are gorgeous and it’s beautifully made. Ordering was straight forward and communication was excellent to keep me updated on the progress whilst it was being made.

I’ve bought a few items from Steve and they never disappoint. My wife bought me my first belt, and I was so pleased I ordered another 2! I’m not sure why as the first one is sure to last a very long time. Quality, style and craftsmanship, I would (and have) recommended Steve to many others, however the hints from my wife have yet to work. Thanks Nelson and Forge, we would definitely shop with you again. X

Top quality, dont usually bother with reviews but made an acception for steve's products! Its the little extra details that prove every effort has been made by steve to meet my expectations but he exceded them! I own 2 belts, a wallet and have just purchased a new collar for my dog! Ill be keeping my eyes peeled for his future products.

I have bought gifts which all recipients have adored, a beautiful tote bag for myself which will last a lifetime. Plus Steve has worked very hard making hundreds of branded keyrings as merchandise for our family business. Couldn't recommend him more!

Attention to detail, listening to what I wanted and beautifully made products. Steve goes above and beyond with his work, I've had several things from him over the years and he is my first stop for high quality handmade leather (from a camera wrist strap, to a dog collar and a storage bowl)

We commissioned a handmade leather tote bag for my birthday. The service and communication were excellent. I had the straps made slightly longer which are perfect for me. I love my bag and I’d highly recommend Steve for any of his amazing leather goods. Great to be able to support local too. 👍🏼
