Unresolved issue after one month of support – product unstable after 2.5 years

After Netatmo’s public reply on Trustpilot stating they would speed up the resolution, nothing has actually changed.
I have been stuck for over a month in a support loop with repeated standard instructions (reset, pairing, parking) that do not solve the issue, despite the problem being fully documented from the beginning.
The smart radiator valve system I purchased (approx. 350 €) is now unstable and largely unusable after only 2.5 years, which is not a reasonable lifespan for a premium smart home product.
Support responses often arrive after several days or weeks, sometimes in a different language, and there is no direct support channel (no phone number, no clear email contact). Accessing support requires going through long automated flows, which significantly delays any real assistance.
According to EU consumer protection laws, products must have a reasonable durability in relation to their price and intended use.
If other users are experiencing similar issues, I encourage them to share their experience and to inform themselves about their consumer rights under EU law.

Bastien, Roberto, you do an excellent job, thank you, i am sorry your product ( outdoorcam x2) was not up to the job required, very strange, as climate change gets worse I wonder if upgrades are being implemented?, anyway thank you again

Do not *ever* buy Netatmo product

After less than a year, my indoor camera stopped working properly.
After opening a support ticket, which took a month with all the necessary information (including the model and serial number of the camera), it turned out that they had made a mistake, thinking it was an OUTDOOR camera and therefore unable to help me... I had to open a new ticket myself so that it could be redirected to the right department...
Second ticket created, and after analysis, it turned out to be a problem with the optical block, which needed to be replaced. Sent the camera in for repair, quick return within a week and repair description ‘defective memory card replaced’... It wasn't the optical block...?
Tested the camera, and of course, it still didn't work, exactly the same problem...
I opened a third support ticket... 14 days passed... 21 days passed... still nothing.
I decide to contact them on Facebook to get their attention. I go to their official page, read the comments and notice someone saying that the ‘contact us’ link on their page doesn't work. I test it and sure enough, it's not working. I reply to the comment saying that the link is indeed broken and needs to be fixed.
Less than a minute later, Facebook tells me that this page no longer exists... they have *BANISHED* me from the official Facebook page for a simple comment that was in no way aggressive, defamatory or anything else... BANNED!!!!
I tried posting a message on their website forum... my message remained there for two days before being deleted. They hardly ever respond on their forum or to customer service, but when it comes to deleting messages, there are plenty of people to do so...
After 27 days, support finally responded... but too late... I took advantage of Black Friday to buy an Eufy s350+Homebase3 pack for €150 with built-in siren, AI, motorisation, dual lenses, etc. Almost half the price of the Netatmo camera.
I will *never* buy Netatmo again, and I will advise anyone who asks me not to buy this brand...

Perfect customer service

Perfect customer service! My smoke detector seized to work after nearly three years. Since the product is advertised to work approximately 10 years I contacted customer service. After I send a picture of the registration number / back of the smoke detector, within a day a new one was shipped to me. Premium brand, premium service. Very satisifed.

I give up after testing this weather…

I give up after testing this weather unit 4 years- inaccurate-/uses to much battery-/too many re-installations. Netatmo changed outside modul twice- but I give up now I wanted to install more new units.
Avoid this ---it´s a toy not a tool.

I bought this Netatmo thermostat system…

I bought this Netatmo thermostat system for my business, for the office. We have 6 thermostats, and they are placed at a distance of about 5–8 meters from the central unit, the sensor that is supposed to control everything. The walls are plasterboard, there is no metal in the walls or anything like that.
Even so, the signal keeps dropping out, and it happens often. It tends to happen during the weekend or at night, when the system suddenly can’t register the temperature, and then it turns itself up to 24–28 degrees. When we arrive in the morning, the heating is running full blast. This is not a saving – on the contrary, it costs a lot of money, and in the end it is much more expensive to use this system.
I have tried resetting it 3–4 times. I have read online what to do and what not to do, and I have tried all sorts of things. I have sent error reports to the company, but there is no response. They know there are problems, and I can now see in DIY stores that they are taking more and more of these systems off the shelves – they are no longer selling them.
If you are considering buying it, don’t. There are no savings with this system – on the contrary, you only get extra costs, and it is a really bad purchase. The company does not release new updates, and they do nothing to fix the errors. They know the issues are there; they know the system does not work.
One of my thermostats is mounted two meters from the central unit in a straight line, and sometimes it cannot even connect to it – it just drops out. It is absolutely unacceptable. I deeply regret buying it. I thought I was buying something professional. I should have read some of all the reviews that are out there. It is really a terrible product. - I bought the system online from two different places, and it keeps breaking down. I’ve checked the internet and various forums, and I’m not the only one with this problem – you know that as well. The thermostats disconnect very easily, and when they do, they turn the heating up to maximum. You can come back to your business after a weekend and find all rooms heated to 27 degrees. That’s not a saving – it’s an extra expense.

You constantly have to reset everything and start over. I’ve tried different batteries and all kinds of solutions, but there isn’t even a reset option on the thermostat itself. It’s no coincidence that these products have been removed from many store shelves. The software doesn’t work properly, and the devices can’t handle the load, especially with so many other products operating on the same frequency.

I’ve contacted your support several times, and after 2–3 months the system breaks down again. When just one thermostat disconnects, the whole system turns up to full power, and you return to an empty building with maximum heat on all radiators. I’ve reset it more times than I can count, and I know what I’m doing. I’ve tried new batteries and everything else – nothing helps. They just disconnect. It’s a bad product.

I believe your strengths are threefold: 1) after-sales service, even for products purchased from others and even used ones; 2) product reliability; 3) aesthetics that don't spoil anything.
