Recently received a replacement tv box from talktalk the 4K box. If your unfortunate to not have a free view play tv it's great, however if you were planning on recording on it, here's the problem. You can ONLY record one programme at a time and you CAN NOT watch anything else while doing that. A completely pointless process.

All right until things go wrong
Initially was very impressed with this box, although disappointed that you can only record one thing at the same time. However it keeps missing the start (up to 5 minutes) of programmes it records and getting help is impossible. There is one of these awful help 'bots' that seems to think it is fun to answer a different question to the one you've asked and when it passes you to a human NOTHING HAPPENS. The app is now coming up "Account Suspended" and the email address it directs you to for further help DOES NOT EXIST. I am beginning to think that Amazon have sold me a defunct piece of equipment.

I've just switched my TV service to Netgem TV. Have to say I'm extremely impressed so far. It's easy to use - the screens are really bright and visual, and the picture and sound quality are both excellent. I like the fact that I'm in control of my subscriptions so I can pick and choose from one month to the next. I actually hate this new Netgem box…
I actually hate this new Netgem box that Talktalk has lumbered me with. I'm paying the same for less. It doesn't record without a USB, and I still don't know if the UBB function will work. Bought a 1TB USB, but it actually had 1.05TB so wouldn't initialise. So have to buy another USB. There is no information about USB use. I had to look it up online. Having tried to initialise the USB and it not working, that seems to have affected the time shift function that no longer works. I hate catch up TV and the constant logging in. I just want to watch TV and make recordings of the programmes I like, but I'm not home to watch. The TV Guide is also horrible in colour and layout.

I purchased netgem 4k tv box and I’m very happy! So easy to set up! The only niggle is the start up screen… having to press exit a few times to get rid of startup screen to watch tv. I can’t find any settings to turn this off so it just comes on so I can just watch without having to exit annoying start up screens

I have been using Netgem TV for several months now and I am really happy with it. There is a great selection of channels and apps. There's all the shows I can get on Freeview and then another 100 or so on top of that so I'm never stuck for something to watch. There are a lot of really good documentaries and wildlife channels which I love, and I really like the way it's laid out as everything is easy to find. It's brilliant value too. Happy to recommend.

I ordered Netgem TV through my broadband provider a few weeks ago, and have to say I'm really impressed with it. I'd switched over from Sky as I was concerned with how high my combined broadband / Tv bill was becoming. I did wonder whether I'd notice the difference. Well I can say I certainly have noticed the difference - in my wallet! I've literally halved my bill but still have plenty of TV to choose from. I really like how the different genres are split up - so if i'm looking for entertainment - i just select that and I can see lists of shows and series - even from within apps like Prime, so I don't have to go faffing about searching in and out of apps all evening! For the money it's really great value. Very happy. Highly recommend.

Pick Netgem TV & never looked back
I have been using Netgem TV for few years now and truly love the interface the platform provides which I find very intuitive with lots of channels to take your fancy, including seasonal & themed options (far more that Disney+ or Sky which I have used before). The picture & sound quality are great, especially considering my TV is over 20 yrs old so saved me from buying a new one with smart functions.

I just recently subscribed to NetGem…
I just recently subscribed to NetGem TV, and I must say, I'm very pleased with the service. There are many stations and programmes to choose from, and the user interface is simple to use.
Excellent video quality and no buffering problems have yet to be encountered, and having access to all of my favourite channels in one location is very handy.
Overall, if you're searching for a dependable and practical streaming service, I'd suggest NetGem TV.
