I spent $5.7K with this company to remove job related legal search results. They claimed sites could either be removed or pushed down by a suppression campaign. I entered into 2 different contracts promising this. Neither worked and they keep asking for more money. False verbal promises and not meeting terms of their contract. Next step is the BBB since I have not received a refund.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. You had two campaigns with us: one in early 2023 for $1,800 removals and a different campaign for $4,800 suppression. We provided a $900 refund on the removals campaign in June of 2023 because it had a 90-day guarantee, and one of the 2 links selected was unable to be removed.
You returned to us in November 2023, several months after that refund, and signed up for the suppression campaign. The online suppression campaign aimed to reduce the visibility of 3 specific negative URLs by promoting positive assets. Due to the dynamic nature of search engine results, complete and permanent suppression cannot be guaranteed. However, we did push 2 of the 3 links off the first page within the first 90 days. We did not leave you hanging after that; we offered a 90 day courtesy extension and saw further positive movement.
Your contract clearly states: "The deliverables listed are intended for a 3-month campaign. For campaigns shorter than 12 months, a Maintenance Plan is recommended to sustain results. A $300 yearly fee is required to maintain your multi-page personal website. Keeping the website active is crucial to maintaining the results."
Without ongoing maintenance, suppression effects can diminish over time. We understand your frustration, but maintaining results requires continued effort.
All of the digital assets we created were handed over to you during an offboarding meeting, and instructions were given so that you or another firm can continue the necessary activity to build authority to the nine positive assets on page 1, to finish the job. There was no immediate reversion to your results once we stopped our work, as you claim. Instead, the most challenging link remains in the middle of page one of your search results.
Regarding your refund request, we stand by the work completed per the contract terms. We are open to discussing potential solutions to address your concerns, but please keep in mind that further work will involve additional costs. We have explained this on several occasions. We have not ignored your phone calls or emails as you stated on the BBB. You can continue to attack us on review sites, but it will not change how search engines work, and we will not give a refund based on your threats when one is not owed.
