Tsukiji Fish markets

Today we visited the Tsukiji Fish market and Tsukiji Buddhist temple with Reiko as our tour guide, we had a great time eating and laughing around the markets. Reiko is kind and well informed about the Japanese market and temple. It was a pleasure to be guided around Tsukiji today by her.

Disgusting, Disgusting, Totally DISGUSTING

the Sandbar Barr & Grille- Antioch, Illinois

May 16th was a splendidly warm Saturday night on the Chain of Lakes. Went with some friends to the Sandbar on Lake Marie. The night started out rather poorly since it took over thirty minutes for our drink order – four canned beverages to even be served. Then the waitress and/or kitchen totally screwed up a simple sausage and pepperoni pizza. Then finally, they delivered the correct pizza - but not wanting to cause any problems, we already had started eating the wrong pizza they brought us. So, they decided to do us a big “favor” and not charge us for their stupid mistake with the first pizza.
Then this is when the entertainment actually began. Sitting near our table was a group of younger adults (but far from being contextually true). They were all partying with one guy who was celebrating his 21st birthday – no problem and no concern, although they were loud and obnoxious, not a word was said – let them have fun. This dude’s friends kept forcing drinks and shots on this guy – so you can only guess what happened – he started to get violently nauseous. Instead of his friends politely removing him from the dining area, which actually only amounts to picnic tables on the beach. His friends give him an empty pitcher to collect his vomitous regurgitations. After about five minutes, the pitcher becoming more than half-filled with disgustingly gross liquor, bile, and half-chewed whatever TF it was, my guess “foulness I can't even imagine, or maybe I just don't want to”. In my defense, I was really trying to mind my own business, but I couldn’t help but see this disgusting movie as it even polluted and infringed on my peripheral vision.
After being extremely nauseated for five minutes, I finally had enough. I calmly and matter-of-factly recommended that they should remove the puke-puppy to the parking lot. These white-privileged, trailer-trash, hillbilly drunks took considerable offense to my comments, and started to become belligerent, directing profanity and other rude remarks at me. I returned several choice words, which made the drunks even angrier – then the bi-directional F-bombs were being volleyed. You can only imagine what happened next. Some big fat guy, who must be an inbred family member got all in my face ‘cuz I was the “bad” guy for not tolerating this disgusting BS. Then, the morbidly obese cousin-mother (???) and sickenly fat sister joined the fracas. Finally, the owner (maybe) came on over, he was somewhat understanding – but too little, way too late. So, there I was surrounded by well over a ton and a half of obnoxious obesity, all yelling at me to leave. The flabulous mother was all up in my face, and repulsively spittling all over me. She was totally unhinged and wildly tossed any number of accusations at me. She was so delusional, she even said: “I remember you, you did this same exact thing last year”. Not sure which fold of flab she pulled this out from, but I wasn’t even anywhere near the Chain last year and have only been to this dive maybe 5 times in my entire life. The incredible blob, the cousin-son (???) who was probably 3 or 4 inches taller than me and at least 150 pounds heavier repeatedly tried to provoke an altercation. One time he even walked away muttering he “was only matching my energy”. When I told him that he could never match my energy, he came charging back at me like a raging bull who just got castrated without any anesthesia. Then he got all “bad breathed” in my face and demanded that I leave. This establishment has an open dining area with any number of children running around amongst the tables. No kids nor no normal families should ever be subjected to the vile behavior by these types of drunks, not to mention the abuse and berating from the “Hills Have Eyes” family members. WOW – just WoW, What The Actual F-bomb is wrong with these people. It’s perfectly okay for someone drunk to nauseatingly puke his guts out in their dining area, but it is incredibly wrong for someone to object to that person doing it. GMAFB

Making people awareIt’s good that you are able to get this…

It’s good that you are able to get this out there about how bad a company is as I said people put there trust in to these big companies and there salesman who seem to know nothing about what they are selling. For want of a better word they suck you as their products are the best thing since sliced bread. Most of the people that have brought from this company are going to be very upset with the after service and staff manners.
I will keep adding to my reviews on this company as I do think they are useless

Beware vorina.co.uk, all is not as it seems

Vorina.co.uk appear to be a UK company from their website, but beware - their returns address is in China and you pay postage.
That's if you can get them to agree to refund your purchase price.
I bought an item of knitwear. It was described as wool mix, it was actually 100% acrylic. The colours and the item did not match the web picture.
And they refused to refund me despite the web claiming 'if you aren't totally in love, we'll refund you'.
It has take me all of December 2024 to get anywhere near a (highly unsatisfactory) resolution.
I spent hours writing many emails of dispute to try to get my full money back and eventually gave up (the cost of postage was huge) and accepted 50% of the price refund and I keep the item.
I don't want the item, it looks and is cheap and nasty. It was nothing like the advertised item and I wouldn't wear it.
So I lost £35, hours of my life, and felt I was going crazy.
My advice: don't shop at Vorina. It's a con.

EVRI CONTINUE FAIL TO DELIVER TO MY ADDRESS

EVRI CONTINUE FAIL TO DELIVER TO MY ADDRESS. The operator identified for this latest delivery has delivered to the house and informed my wife that he had better things to do than come down the drive 120 metres. My wife is disabled and would mean driving the car up the drive to pick up a parcel discarded by the roadside. I was advised to contact EVRI on 0330 808 5456 and someone would speak to me and clarify the situation, but this is not an option and we have been waiting in access of a week for a call back on another undelivered parcel. I will now go onto each website when I order anything to advise them that EVRI will not deliver to my address. EVRI have failed to make contact even though they have my number. Well done PETER for making our life miserable

Second delivery of decorative gravel. …

Just had my second delivery of decorative garden gravel.
I ordered this second lot because I was so impressed with the quality and delivery of my first order...I decided to order more.
I love gardening. This decorative gravel was very affordable and the quality is perfect for my borders.
James who delivered it was an extremely helpful young man. A great asset to his employers; nothing was too much trouble.
I'm disabled and 70 in August and I must say he was very kind. Thank you. James.

Lowdham Leisureworld Nottingham & Lauren Bussey - Brilliant !!

Visited Lowdham's on Sat. 11th June'22 to collect our new caravan. Whilst sat in their showroom feeling a little lost Lauren Bussey was walking past us and could sense that we could do with some help and reassurance and asked if we were okay and could she do anything to help....Lauren was brilliant, she exudes positivity and helpfulness and was very bubbly and a consummate professional. Within a few minutes Lauren had offered and delivered a coffee, processed our invoice paperwork, pointed out (something I had forgotten) that fixed price 3 year service plans were available, needless to say we signed up and paid for a 3 year service contract before we left. Again just brilliant Lauren, thank you again and indeed also to Lowdham's...you must never, never let this lady go!! Steve & Rachel Merrick

Dreams Kettering Store and Dreams Customer Service

This is further to a review I left on Trust Pilot describing the dishonesty of your sales staff.

As I mentioned in the review, I think it was dishonest of your sales staff in the Kettering store to sell us a Tempur mattress after we have emphasised numerous times how hot we get at night. They told us to use the mattress protector (from Tempur UK "In regards to the protector, this is water resistant which protects against small spillages.
The mattress protector is not water proof so what has been communicated to you is false") and if we weren’t happy, we’d be able to change the mattress without any problem. We did as advised but a drop of sweat still went through the protector and onto the mattress so when the drivers came to swap the mattress, they refused to take it away.

We were then told by the drivers that the mattress protector doesn’t actually work as well as we were told – had we known this, we would have added an extra mattress protector during the trial period.

When we phoned customer services, we we’re pretty much told it was our fault for believing the sales people who were free to say what they wanted.
But the argument is Store sells are different from Web sells.

On top of that, the Kettering Store rang me to say they managed to make a second attempt but make sure you wash the cover (again one more proof cheating), which we didn't because it wasn't right.

I can’t describe how disgusted and conned I’m feeling, that I actually believed what your sales staff told us when it was just barefaced lies. It was a huge expense for us and the first time we’ve bought a mattress in nearly 15 years, and we are now massively out of pocket and can’t afford to get a decent mattress.

I can’t believe we are the only people that this has happened to.

Appalling customer service from Theatre tickets direct London…

Really Poor experience from this company and one
that everyone should avoid.

We were bought a theatre gift voucher from them by our Son and family.

Then the pandemic hit and theatres were closed, the goverment advice was not to travel, plus the fact that I was also advised to shield for health reasons meaning we were unable to use our Voucher.

Now that theatres are open again we were looking forward to booking a theatre show only to find that our voucher had expired on December 13th 2021.

I contacted the company via email and asked if they like other similiar companies would offer to extend our voucher for a short period to enable us to use it and create a memory.

We had another voucher with ATG Tickets and they extended it for a year, which we felt was more than generous.

A lady named Nandeep responded that they have terms and conditions on the voucher stating that
they do not offer refunds or extensions.

She said that they have on their website many shows that we could have booked, totally omitting the fact that there had been a global pandemic and that theatres had been closed during this time.

I have mailed the company back several times but they are now ignoring my mails and have not respond.

I have in front of me our voucher that according to the folder it came in has the full terms and conditions on the reverse of our voucher.

I have checked and there is no mention of not being able to extend the voucher.

In view of the pandemic I would have expected the company to be understanding, seeing that we could not use the voucher even if we had to commit to booking within the next month. We are not asking for a long extension, just don’t want to lose it.

They have in effect had an interest free loan of our money and have then stolen it, this is tantamount to theft, and I will be taking this further seeking legal advice and other avenues to put pressure on them.

I advise anybody to only use vouchers that the goverment issue, £ notes that never expire, or if you do decide to use this type of voucher check the online feedback before you commit to purchasing from this type of company.

The date on my card is still valid
Ticket factory refunded my card as the concert was cancelled and i thought by paying on a credit card my money is safe the card was cancelled and money refund has been paid into the marbles card marbles cannot trace it
I've given marbles an ARN nr from ticket factory to trace it and e mailed them rang several times but fobbed off
Nothing😔😔😔 I never went over my balance I always kept my card paid up an paid off
Doesn't look as if they are going to pay my refund
Surely this is fraudulent

I've got no money im skint and have lost over 300 £ this was a gift to us now lost the lot

Classic line car insurance

I have been with Classicline car insurance for a while now, this year unfortunately they could not match the quote from elsewhere. So I'm with a new insurer but will always keep Classic line insurance in my contact list. Great service, always helpful and Courteous ( thank you Jess?) Only thing I don't get is having to wait until my renewal date to get my "Full Refund" ? You would have thought that would have been returned to my credit card within day's? Different companies Different methods . I will update when I receive my refund.
