At Newyork Book Marketing, we champion the free movement of writers and strive to allow underrepresented authors to showcase their work. This commitment is reflected in our partnership publishing model, which allows us to offer standard contracts at no cost and the option for a partnership contract. If a partnership contract is chosen, authors will only need to contribute a small portion of the publication costs, with Newyork Book Marketing covering up to two-thirds. We encourage aspiring authors to explore our From Manuscript to Marketing page to learn more about partnering with Newyork Book Marketing and becoming part of our community of book creators.

My book has over a hundred photographs…

My book has over a hundred photographs spanning two centuries of source material. Permissions clearance for the older images took longer than projected about six extra weeks. But the photo reproduction in the final print is genuinely excellent. Worth the wait, even if the wait wasn't quite what I'd been promised.

I'm not someone who gushes

I'm not someone who gushes, so take this for what it's worth the work was professional the timelines were mostly met and the people answered emails within a day or two. The finished book holds up. That's what I wanted from a publisher and that's what I got. No surprises good or bad.

I was writing my third book with a different publisher and switched mid-series. The onboarding was smoother than I feared. They respected the voice I'd built over two previous books and only pushed back where it genuinely mattered.

I came in with a messy manuscript and a lot of questions. The editorial feedback was direct and practical no padding, just notes that actually improved the book. Distribution took longer than I'd hoped, but the team kept me updated throughout. I'd work with them again.

I want to be candid about something…

I want to be candid about something that I think prospective authors deserve to know. I published my first novel with a different house and the experience, while not disastrous, left me with a persistent sense that the book had not been given the editorial attention it required to become what it was capable of becoming. I came to this publisher for my second novel with that experience informing my expectations and my questions and I was genuinely surprised by how completely different the engagement turned out to be at every stage of the process.
