I wanted to share some concerns regarding our ongoing collaboration over the past several days. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced a recurring issue with scheduling. The POC person I’ve been working with has repeatedly canceled calls and rescheduled meetings without providing clear timelines for when these sessions will actually take place.This has led to significant delays, and it’s become increasingly difficult to make any meaningful progress. At this point, it feels like there is a lack of commitment to meeting the deadlines, and the repeated changes are starting to create confusion and bad experience.
I believe open communication and respect for scheduled commitments are crucial to ensuring we can move forward efficiently. I would greatly appreciate it if we could establish a firm timeline and clearer expectations for upcoming meetings, to avoid any further disruptions and ensure smoother progress.

Prompt and efficient service
I contacted Haven via the Worcester Bosch website after our boiler unexpectedly stopped working and received a reply from Neil who arranged to come over to take a look the next day. Neil provided the quote as promised the following day which was competitive. The work was completed one day later.
At all times Haven did what they said they’d do which has not always been our experience with contractors. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

We had a very good experience with Haven Home Solutions for our home extension which included underfloor heating, 2 new bathrooms, installing a new boiler and fitting a water softener. James and co were very friendly, polite and tidy, given that it was a building site. Some of it was particularly fiddly, but they got on with the job with no complaints and found solutions without any fuss. Very pleased with everything they've done and when we had a recent issue with boiler, James even came out the next day to sort. Would highly recommend them.
Very mixed experience
We had a good feel from the initial visit, quote and communication, and Haven was in the middle of the pack on price so we went with them to install a Worcester Bosch boiler, Megaflo and water softener (the latter supplied by us) for just under £7,000. Work started very quickly, the guys that attended were great and the first 85% of the work was completed quickly.
After this the issues started:
1. There were piles of waste sitting out the front of our house for over two weeks
2. The water softener was connected so that it provided soft water (rather than hard water) to the garden tap (which kills plants over time) (now resolved)
3. The Megaflo was not hardwired and has been left with a three pin plug that we are supposed to plug in if we need to use the immersion heater. Haven state they don’t normally wire them and hadn’t included this in the price. However, lots of plumbers forums say this is dangerous and that a 13W fuse in a plug is not built to handle the power requirements of a 3kw immersion heater... I have never seen a Megaflo operating on a three pin plug and I will need to pay an electrician now to ensure it is safe.
4. There were exposed wires left in the airing cupboard where the old pumps were taken out (now resolved)
5. For almost three months we had no floor in the airing cupboard, loose floorboards on the landing and a boiler with a four inch gap around it as the pipework had not been boxed in. A carpenter came to do that and it seemed to be done in a hurry. It looks like a bag of spanners so I think we will end up paying someone to come and fix it, even though it is in the utility room.
6. Not all of the radiator valves that we had paid to be changed had been, and a couple of the ones that were changed started leaking (now resolved)
7. It took >3 months to get the boiler registered.
What disappointed me through the process was that I had to keep track of all of these issues (and a few smaller other ones) and was made to feel like I was being a bit of a pain when I followed up on them (no more than once a week). It seems crazy that it took three months to get to the end of this work.
There were a couple of complaints from Haven that the job had cost them more than expected, and it felt like that meant they weren’t bothered about finishing it off properly. I think we paid a reasonable amount for the work done and it is feels disingenuous to push it back onto me if they underestimated the hours required.
We never received an apology in relation to any of the above issues / delays and the hassle of dealing with this for over three months has left a bad taste in my mouth. Sadly, we won’t be using Haven again.

Our boiler was broken and needed to be replaced ASAP. Neil understood the emergency of the situation and provided quote and arranged installation straight away. We needed scaffolding as we live on the top floor and Neil organised that, too. He has been very helpful and provided excellent service.
The installation went very smoothly, Ryan and James did a fantastic job. They were very professional and explained the new boiler's features in detail.

I had a complicated domestic install here (moving the boiler to a different location, relocating pipework & electrics, associated roof works - very big job for a domestic install)
Very competitive costs (lower than any competitors by a big margin), very flexible times for a completion date, very knowledgeable & responsible engineers, very good communication (companies representatives available at all times), good advices for any extras needed, very tidy (you would never know that any works took place when they complete as they would involve any extra roofing & masonry works as well. Would remove old boiler installation as well if needed)
As my project was very complicated - engineer has stayed for extra 3 hours (no extra costs) just to ensure that we have heating and hot water for the night

So I left a 4 star review back in December & have attempted to upgrade it to 5 because in recent weeks I've experienced issues with my hot water, including a leak which Haven Homes & in particular, Neil & his team have bent over backwards to accommodate & rectify even with little notice. The entire team that have attended my home to assess & resolve have been more than professional in their conduct, their politeness, their attention to detail & their knowledge. If I could grade with more stars, then I would....without hesitation. Would highly recommend...

Choosing a new boiler and finding an installer you can trust can be a daunting task, however Neil from Haven was fantastic. He went through everything thoroughly, was more than happy to answer my many questions and gave me a fair and fixed price for all the work I needed doing. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very conscientious of his team providing a good service. James and Ryan who fitted my new boiler were very friendly and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend Haven Home solutions.

Installation of a gas boiler
In October 2020, the Company changed our Central heating gas boiler for a new Worcester-Bosch boiler for our four bedroom house.They did the job at 48 hours notice to help us out as Winter was approaching.They were very competent and their heating Engineers were very friendly and left the house clear of rubbish and in a clean condition.
The heating and hot water systems work very well .
In June 2021, we had a leak on our toilet pipe and they came round the same day and quickly sorted it out.
We would without hesitation recommend them
