Having never transported a car, I had no idea how it worked. I read up on it, contacted 3 companies, and went with Nexus. They were honest (very important to me) efficient, and as good as their word... See more

Going on 3 days late
Going on 3 days late. No one seems to care. I have no clue where my car is. Not one employee is willing to help.

Our transfer to airport never showed
Our transfer to airport never showed. We payed more for a taxi and were late to airport. Wasted a lot of money. No response from company.

After multiple assurances of a guaranteed pick up date and representations that they had multiple trucks in the area to pick up our vehicle, they were not able to pick it up by the guaranteed date. I had the impression they were just stringing us along the whole time giving us excuses like trucks were at DOT safety checks, and they were working on finding drivers. I would advise future customers to make sure the guaranteed pick up date gives you sufficient time to make alternate arrangements if they don’t live by their guarantee.
Horrible..
Horrible... they pay people to take off bad reviews. They just offered me money to remove a bad review I posted. They are dishonest. They made promises they did not keep and lied about what was possible.
They promised delivered by date X. I was starting a new job and needed the car. They were late picking up the car, blew their 4 day window, picked it up on the 5th day. Advised they would be one day late, then 2 days, then absolutely promised it on the 3rd day and finally delivered on the 4th day.
I paid extra for this service, was quoted less expensive rates, selected them relying on magazine reviews and BBB - but now realize that they pay for this. WAS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARILY STRESSFUL. THESE GUYS ARE NOT WORTH IT.
+++ STAY AWAY FROM THE WORST!+++
It has been many years since I have come across such an unprofessional outfit. The WORST! This involved the transport of a very high end classic car from California to Texas, and they knew this. It started off with a commitment in writing that I obtained by email prior to placing the order. My email said that I wanted the following confirmed:
"• The enclosed trailer is only for 2 cars - one in front of the other, NOT a car on top of mine. This is a high end and rare convertible car and I do not want to risk and stains on the soft rooftop from oil dripping from a car placed above mine for over 1,000 miles during 2 or 3 days.
• The enclosed trailer has a lift gate;
• The car will not be driven in and out of the trailer except for the actual pick up and the drop off.
• You will pick up on August 15th;
• You will drop off no later than Tuesday, August 19th."
Within minutes, their salesman Martin replied:
"I can confirm all of the above is correct. The only carrier that will be assigned will be the one that matches all of the previously mentioned requirements." Based on this I placed the order.
They knew that I had a trip to Europe and needed the car in Texas before then. This is why I was specific about the pick up and delivery dates.
On the day prior to the guaranteed pick up date, August 14th, I started calling for some details on the pick up time etc. In a space of 24 hours, I must have spoken to probably ten different people, because every time that I called Nexus, the answer was that they're "working on it and will get back to me shortly", but nobody ever called back, and when I would call them back, the previous person was nowhere to be found. At one point somebody called me back, saying that they wanted more money ($150) and they could confirm the transport, even though the order was a fixed price. Another time somebody wanted to get me a dual level trailer, where I would risk oil dripping from the car above on my convertible classic car.
I even sent an email to the CEO, George Arkin, who never bothered to even acknowledge my concerns and have somebody call me back.
The worst of all was the customer relations lady, Lilly, with whom I spoke at about noon on August 15th, the pick up date. She was going to get back me and had me standby on the line. After 40 minutes, I hung up and called back, only to find out that "Lilly went home 30 minutes ago"!!!
On the day of the pick up, by 3.00 PM, I decided that I had had enough of this company and cancelled the order. Even after I had received the email with the cancellation, they attempted to call me to negotiate exclusions to what they had agreed in writing. Just unbelievable.
This is unethical bait-and-switch behavior, nothing less. My advice to you all: STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT. THEY ARE TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL STRESS YOU OUT WITH THEIR UNRESPONSIVENESS AND UNPROFESSIONALISM.
The only reason that they are getting one star from me is because there is no option to give them zero stars, since that is exactly what they deserve.
Bait and switch …
Quoted me $1,300 to get from California to NC. When they finally called they were outside the agreed timeline and wanted $400 more than quoted. Apparently this is common in this industry. Be careful. I will not be using them.
Shame on me
Shame on me. They shafted me once and believed them when they said they’d make it right. They did not. They fooled me twice. I tried to have them ship my car for over two weeks. Only disappointment. Don’t trust them. And they’ll try to raise the price after booking. There are many reputable operators out there. In my experience, Nexus is not one to consider. Bait and switch tactics (I have the texts to back it up). No return calls. Dishonest communication whereby I wasted lots of time with aggravation. Stay away
Easy and professional all the way!
The process was extremely easy. Emma was a true professional with answers to all my questions and concerns. Pick up and delivery went without any problems. I highly recommend Nexus.Thank you Emma and all the folks at Nexus!
I have never written a review but I am…
I have never written a review but I am furious! Over a month ago I signed a contract with Nexus Transport to ship our car from NY to LA.
The gave me a quote and a window of pick up August 10-13th. I have been calling for a week to get a date & time for pick up, always getting the same answer......'We are working on it". Timing was crucvial as we are shipping a car for our daughter to have at collage and wanted to be on site to recieve it before we headed back to NY and to also use the car while we were in CA.
August 10, 11, 12 and now 13 came and they still do not have a driver.
After calling and emailing multiple times a day.
I know am working with Montway to ship our car. At a much higher rate but guaranteed to be picked up tomorrow.
DO NOT CALL ON NEXUS TRANSPORT!!!! Worst comapnay I have ever worked with. The only good thing was some always ansered the phone....Sadly all they ever said was 'We are working on it.
If I could give 0 stars I would .
Nexus is awful, AT ALL COST DO NOT BOOK
If I could give a negative review I would. Nexus is awful, I highly recommend against it. First off the call center is not in America. They completely lie to you and avoid your calls. I booked with Emma, then she suddenly disappeared no longer answered my calls or texts. They never found me a carrier on the day I was supposed to have my car shipped in which Emma promised it would be. After realizing it was all lies I had to get my car removed from their listing and they REFUSED. kept lying saying since they had so many costumes that day it took time (which is a lie because it takes the costumer service person a click of a button to remove my car) It took me 4 hours and 5 different phone calls to get my car removed from their listing, which resulted in me almost reporting them for not removing my car as I asked several times (the only way was to threaten with a report and stay on the phone with the person to make sure they did it, had to do this twice). Highly recommend anyone else, do not book with them, not worth the head ache or stress.
Dishonest Pricing and Last-Minute Upcharges
I strongly advise caution when dealing with Nexgen Auto Transport LLC. At first, they offered an attractive low quote to win my business, which seemed like a good deal. However, after I agreed and paid the required upfront deposit, things quickly took a turn.
Just one day before the scheduled pickup, they contacted me with a completely different story — suddenly the original price was no longer valid, and they demanded more than **double** the initial quote. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic is dishonest and unacceptable.
If you're looking for a company that values transparency and integrity, I suggest looking elsewhere. This experience was both frustrating and disappointing.
Scam
A failure to pick up car in day it was guaranteed. Bad businesses move to break a promise like that. Will cost me hundreds now, because my schedule is totally messed up and i"ll have to read transportation arrangements
I felt in the dark the entire time…
I felt in the dark the entire time wondering what is going on with my order. It took them 36 hours to schedule a pickup. The final price went from 888 to 1000. This is after it already went up from 800 to 888.. They claimed that if I want to pay the entire lump sum with a credit card, instead of using paypal, they had to charge an extra 5%. I was told my vehicle would be delivered the next day. The next day came and I received an update saying it would take another day. We are at the end of the other day and I have yet to get any communication from the carrier. I have no idea where my vehicle is and when it will arrive. Don't be fooled by the "track my order" button on the website. When you click it, the website doesn't show you anything. Someone calls the carrier to get a new estimate and then they email you the new estimate. All of their estimates have been way off so far. This is my first time transporting a vehicle so I have no idea if they are better or worse than everyone else, but this has been a terrible experience from start to finish. When I looked for a company, Nexus was at the top of the ratings. I dont know how, but immediately after I placed my order, they didn't even show up on the rankings anymore. Use something else.
THE DRIVERS SPOKE NO ENGLISH
THE DRIVERS SPOKE NO ENGLISH . FIRST TRUCK GUY WOULDNT LISTEN TO ME ON HOW TO GET CAR OUT OF GARAGE USING HIS WENCH AND TORE UP THE CHURCHES LAWN TRYING TO DO IT HIS WAY. FINALLY HE GOT MAD AND LEFT. SECOND GUY CAME NO ENGLISH FINALLY AFTER AN HOUR HE LISTENED TO ME AND CAR WAS OUT AND ON TRAILER. THEN THE COMPANY KEPT CALLING AFTER TO TRY TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF THE JOB . ALSO FIRST GUY CAME 2 1/2 HOURS LATE AFTER MIDNIGHT.
I purchased white glove service I received yellow rubber glove service
I selected this provider based on the trust pilot reviews which I struggle to now believe having used them. I think the yelp ones are more accurate - I would strongly advise selecting another provider. I paid for the white globe service - I never got notification of collection - collected - delivered. I had to chase over and over. I finally got the photos. The y collected the car without any paper work and when questioned said I was told I had not asked for that part of the service
Simple, Fast, Reliable and Professional
Simple, Easy, Reliable and Professional and Fast. Those are the words I'd use to describe my experience with Nexus Auto Transport. Called, received a competitive quote to transport my new vehicle from Texas to Michigan. Within 3 days my car arrived in perfect condition. They kept in touch with me all along the way. Easy to communicate with, always there when I called or texted. I Highly Recommend Nexus and will definitely use them in the future.
