Very good experience today at NH Hotel Amistad Murcia. Front of house staff are kind, helpful, and professional. This is true in particular for Pedro who went the extra mile to ensure we had a smooth trip.
The worst hotel in Amsterdam
The worst hotel in Amsterdam. Fake promises made about service 24 X 7. The staff is racist and misbehaves with people of colour. First day we were given a room which is was dirty and there was chewing gum stuck to the phone, upon complaining, the staff did change our room but later told my husband “we think you stuck the chewing gum and dirtied the room” (like we had nothing better to do and did that just to be shifted to another room in the same category😒)My husband was mistreated by a woman named Caroline at the front desk just because he asked for a water bottle as it was late at night and Im pregnant so did not want to risk an infection from tap water. She told my husband that we wouldn’t die if we drank out of taps as we are indians.
The room was quite dusty and my dress was stolen from the room
The room was quite dusty, and it was clear cleaning had missed a few spots. For example, there was a dirty napkin in the otherwise clean bin - this was a bit strange.
I was unfortunate to leave behind my dress in the wardrobe when leaving, but the reception didn't seem to care when I phoned them, and did nothing to help search for it (I phoned them to ask more that 4 time). I finally received an email saying that they had not found the dress. I guess the cleaning staff either didn't check the wardrobe after our departure, or they stole it themselves - either way; staff didn't seem to care and I have lost an expensive dress.

I experienced scam while reservation and payment with guest reservations, ended up paying 180 euros when advertised as 132 euros. The hotel receptionist and manager knew very well what was going on when I complained and were very rude, joining in the dishonesty. I had to cancel my credit card. Very untrustworthy hotel. They did not even give me a receipt. All lies
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. We didn’t get the room we booked. The electricity went and despite being told the hotel was full another room was found. No phones in the rooms no room service and dirty furniture broken. One English language channel on tv. Expensive. Worst hotel experience in a long time. Do not stay here to enjoy Madrid
Price Match Guarantee is Worthless
They say they have a price match guarantee but wouldn't price match to Hotels.com because "the payment conditions are different". Painfully slow pigeon hole English on their website chat function to even get this information. Very poor customer experience.
HORRENDOUS COMPANY
This company is HORRENDOUS! Due to the pandemic myself and a group of 23 other girls have obviously been unable to travel.. our flights were cancelled to Marbella on our group and unable to travel.
The NH Marbella hotel unsympathetically would not refund or even PART refund a booking over £3311!!!
They said ‘they looked online and we could still travel if we booked new flights”.. how is this a decision w few people could make on behalf of 24 other girls?!
We were then offered to redeem the booking up until 31st Dec. Do they really think a group of girls are going to travel to Spain during a time like this?! They are basically saying risk your life or lose your money. All 24 of you. Not only will the weather be awful when it’s potentially safe to go later in the year but we have just seen how quickly quarantine can be imposed on travellers back into the UK.. ITS NOT SAFE!! Since this, we enquired about alternative dates just to see if there would be a price difference, they have said that there is a difference in fee and we would have to pay AN ADDITIONAL £1344!!!!! What the actual?! It’s a total JOKE! And daylight robbery. I totally understand this is a difficult time for businesses but to not even be slightly compassionate to extend the vouchers to next summer and honour the original price.. or offer partial refund is absolutely DISGUSTING!!
I do not recommend a single person stay here.. it is obviously ran by people with not a single moral in sight and do not care about their customers.

The hotel charges for everything on top which is not cheap- e.g parking is Eur15 per night (which is not mentioned upfront), for better wi-fi, there is a charge (otherwise it won’t work during peak/evening hours on the phone), no water bottles in the room, Eur20 fine per swimming pool towel - unless deposited back to the reception etc etc. Wish they were more transparent with the charges upfront at the time of booking!

Never book with NH Hotels!
Never booking with NH Hotels ever again. I can't get a refund because of COVID-19, because the hotel claims everything in Romania 'is as normal, we can work here perfectly'.
I am from The Netherlands. From the Red Zone. Flying to Romania means I will have to stay in state isolation for 14 days anyway. NH Hotels says corona is no reason to cancel the booking and took 200 euro's from my creditcard. Stay away from NH Hotels!
Rewards point approach absolutely…
Rewards point approach absolutely unclear and not in line with basic standards of the industry. I needed to book a long stay for work, they assured me on the phone I would have been rewarded (20 days, almosto 3k spent, expected around 200 points, roughly 200€ in value). When i asked for them they told me there was A LINE among other 400 in terms & conditions where it stated that you can collect points from the SECOND stay, while booking service and nh rewards website were NEVER saying that. Absolutely unaccettable from a serious company. Room was also very dusty and i suffered from allergy for the whole period. Avoid absolutely

Because I was waiting for a flight, the evening receptionist kindly offered us the right to delay our departure from the rooms the following day by 2 hours. When we took the hotel up on the offer, the daytime receptionist went into a very rude denial and insisted on charging us.
I would not use hotels in this group again.

Hotel from Hell - AVOID!
I booked this hotel (NH Brussels Louise) for a work trip and was very dissatisfied for the following reasons:
1. It was way too expensive. I stayed 4 nights, first night was €120 approx and it grew in price, €450 for the last night. It was absolutely NOT worth the money.
2. I didn't sleep for two of the nights due to roadworks that went on ALL night. I tried to ring in the night to complain and reception had turned the phone off so guests could not contact them. My colleague who was staying in a different room went down and found someone to complain to. The staff member said he would try to find my colleague a different room, but never got back to him. The hotel offered no apology or no compensation which was disgraceful.
3. The WiFi was rubbish, it was so unusable I had to use a hotspot on my phone for Internet access.
4. The aircon didn't work. It turned on and was very noisy, but didn't actually provide any aircon whatsoever.
5. The room was basic and a bit grubby and didn't smell great.
6. There was a power outage one of the nights and I was left in the dark.
7. The staff that I encountered were impatient and unsympathetic.
8. The breakfast was very basic and of course way over priced.
I have actually recommended that my company take this hotel off the list of approved hotels for travel. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in for a while.

Had a great stay in the NH Budapest. Great location, clean, well equipped. Faultless, silent aircon was brilliant given the 33 degree heat outside. Breakfast good, not great, but difficult to nit-pick. Staff were charming, well presented and the manager seemed genuinely interested in how we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommended.

There are so many fantastic hotels out there today - give them you money instead of these rude con-artists.
It’s bad enough that a “5 star” hotel in 2019 doesn’t have aircon. Made worse by the fact that they claim to have it when booking and then not owning up to it. Especially taken aback by the petty and vindictive behaviour of the general manager.
