Looking for adventure, luxury, and minimal logistics in a foreign land? Niarra is where it’s at. My husband and I were looking for something unique for our honeymoon and boy did Emily deliver. We opted for Scotland with an incredible mix of history, Michelin-starred food, five star accommodations, local guides, and a dreamy former hunting estate turned eco lodge. It did not disappoint.

Emily spent plenty of time getting to know us and recommended a driver, which was completely worth it and probably a choice we probably wouldn’t have made if we were planning the trip on our own. She returned with an itinerary that was perfect in every way - a history walking tour of Edinburgh, whiskey tastings, incredible food (did I mention the food?), a local farm tour and feeding orphan lambs, hiking, wild swimming, whiskey, more whiskey, dolphins, red deer and Scottish wild cats, clay shooting, mountain biking, bagpipes on top of a mountain, haggis, tablet, gin, Iron Bru, Scottish pines… the list goes on. And Alladale, oh my. Do not skip out on Alladale. We cannot wait to go back.

I cannot recommend Niarra enough. As a busy professional, I really appreciated the “all-inclusive” (almost) approach. I could not have come close to putting together this trip on my own. We definitely plan on using Emily again for our next adventure and are forever grateful for the memories she helped us make.

We were eager to plan our first trip to Africa with nothing more than an experience “wish list.” Rebecca took the time to learn our interests and travel preferences. With her superlative expertise and firsthand experience, Rebecca mapped out a “once in a lifetime” trip to places and properties she had visited personally.

Our trip covered more than 15 days, three countries, and five different hotels and lodges. It involved multiple flights, a helicopter transfer, which flew over Victoria Falls, and ground transfers. The trip was flawless!

Everyplace we stayed was a first class experience, including the locations, accommodations, services, and, most importantly, people. We were more impressed at each stop along the way.

Niarra planned the best trip I ever had in my life. From the moment we stepped off the plane, everything was taken care of. We were seamlessly transferred between our destinations of Uganda, Kenya, and the Seychelles. We stayed in beautiful, world-class accommodations, ate the best food, and met the most incredible people. Working with James was an absolute pleasure - he was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process, and the Niarra team was available for any questions or concerns during our travel. Would 10000% book with them again.

We had a fantastic safari trip with Niarra. They customized what we were after and the trip was seamless. We also felt good about choosing them due to the fact they give a much larger share of their fee to the local suppliers and local guides on the ground.

Everything was perfect! We were greeted at the first airport by someone and for the whole two weeks we were given 5 star service at wonderful venues with great people.

My husband & I worked with James at Niarra Travel to plan our first trip to Africa in early June. While we had an idea of where we wanted to go & some of the hotels/lodges we wished to stay, James put together an itinerary that allowed us to sit back and just enjoy the wonders of South Africa & Zimbabwe for two weeks. We spent time in Capetown, the Winelands, safari in Sabi Sands, Victoria Falls and finally safari in Zimbabwe. Every hotel/lodge was stellar with epic views and/or landscape and incredible food & wine. Every tour Niarra booked for us was excellent with some of the best tour guides we have ever encountered in our travels. My biggest concern was logistics and getting from place to place, but by having Niarra plan every detail, we were able to relax worry-free as each flight went smoothly. In sum, Niarra Travel's assistance was instrumental in planning this trip of a lifetime. We can't wait to go back to Africa and explore other regions. The Nairra Travel agency was incredibly helpful. If it weren't for their responsiveness and assurances, I would not have made the trip and I would have missed a experience of a lifetime. The driver was prompt, informative, and reliable. The lodging was perfect for my needs, tastes, and wallet. And everything went off without a hitch.

From planning to execution, Emily, Savanna and the team delivered a 5 star experience.
1. Planning: they accommodated all our requests and were very flexible when we needed to make changes while never compromising on the quality of the trip.
2. Preparation: multiple phone calls and a great deal of information shared ahead of time helped us organize the trip in the most efficient way (passport requirements, malaria pills, what to pack, weather info etc..)
3. Hotel selection: top notch experience in every city. Special mention for Mukwa which is the next level of hospitality with huge rooms, private garden and plunge in the dreamiest setting by the Zambezi river, refined menu/food. We were also truly blown away by the activities offered on site like river breakfast and the Victoria Falls.
Second mention for La Cotte Farm: enchanting surrounding, state of the art cottage with all the amenities (a private pool I mean!!), most refined decoration and divine food.
We were less impressed by Arathusa and found the rooms to be a bit basic, not very functional and with a lack of WIFI (except for the main area).
4. Private Guides and cars: every guide was a wealth of knowledge, accommodating (we asked for last minute stops and they all agreed with a big smile) and resourceful. Loved the lux cars with the water, towels and candies!!! 5 star again for the subcontracted company.
5. Organization: truly appreciated being taken in charge at each airport - 0 stress. thank you !! + the Whatsapp group 24/7 for last minute qq and answers (Charlene, you are the best)
6. Special touch: truly appreciated the birthday surprises like the cakes and the band but also the lovely personalized notes in each hotel.

Overall one word: SENSATIONAL - at every level. Best trip ever, money well spent. I recommend 200% and cannot wait for my next Niarra trip.

I am so thankful I found Niarra to help me plan my 30th birthday trip to South Africa. James Whiteman was the best from start to finish. The tours, guides, lodging, food, and even the transportation was all incredible and so seamless. We had an amazing tour of the Cape and the Winelands, and the most incredible experience in Kruger. Niarra Travel is hands down the best travel company ever! My fiancé and I went to Costa Rica and all flights/transportation was seamless. The places that we stayed in were beyond beautiful and it met all of our expectations. I was proposed to at Lapa Rios and Niarra Travel made our engagement so special.
