HIGH QUALITY doors and absolutely beautiful! Exactly what I wanted and exactly how it was shown online. I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for unique and high quality doors. My only disappointment was that it took 3 weeks longer than originally quoted to get the door to the point of shipping it out. Good thing I planned ahead and ordered it sooner than when I needed to get it. Otherwise, I, too, would have been waiting with my contractor for the door to arrive, possible holding up construction. Timeline: Received quote on 5/24/17, ordered on 6/7/17, received door in hand on 8/2/17. But it was well worth the wait!

We ordered 6 doors sight unseen from them having never ordered from them before. We are delighted with the quality and over all looks of them. Would highly recommend them.

We received our door in a timely manner. Door was exactly as described. I wish Salesman was clearer on R.O. I sent 4 emails and received 4 different sizes for the door. Shipping was late but packaged well. Door is beautiful.

Door looks great, high quality. It took a bit longer than expected, sounds like they are busy so order 2-3 weeks earlier than you need it. Overall very satisfied.

This is our second time to order doors from Nicks Building. I feel as though the first order was better dealt with and had more communication. We absolutely love the quality of the doors, just sloppy communication this second time. Example: we are not a contractor and we had to both times tell the company that we can not move tons of materials. We had to ask for the lift gate and the first time we got an updated invoice before delivery and not the second time. First time, payment was easy second very sloppy. First time timeline given at order was consistent or they updated it. Second promised two weeks and it turned out to be 6 weeks, with no communication until delivery statement which I refer to the above conclusion. Would it impact my buying or recommending to others no, but I would warn them to commicaye since that was not done in both cases

The door I got from Nick's building is amazing! It is beautiful.
I was nervous ordering something so expensive and so visible for my new home. I had all the concerns I'm sure you're having. Not to worry. It turned out beautiful and it's a strong sturdy door just as described on their website. They built it to my exact specifications. I had thought I would want it stained dark, but the wood grain was so beautiful the contractor and I decided just a clear coat was going to let all that character shine through. I was fearful, but I would recommend it to friends and relatives not just strangers on the internet. And best of all I got exactly what I wanted a standard width door with a side light that opens when you need that extra space when moving in a new refrigerator or other large item. I could not be more happy with stepping out on the ice and just doing it!!!!

Having researched online first, the experience with the sales rep was as smooth as glass. The quality of the doors when received was excellent - just what we wanted.
If any criticism at all, the order took longer to receive than expected... but was well packed for shipment and arrived undamaged.

I was able to peek into the crate. I will fully open and examine both doors at a later date and write an additional review.
Ordering the door was a easy process (Elizabeth) was Great. Very thorough and knowledgeable.
The order was completed very quickly!!
My only concern was the shipping company. This company was difficult, insisted on using a lift gate truck. I explain (numerous times that I have a forklift) this went on deaf ears. I called Elizabeth (sales) and she reached out to her contact and had the issue correct immediately. The shipping company still came with a lift gate truck, I think they subcontract it out to additional carriers. The off load process was much harder than needed. This is nothing to do with NICKS, they are excellent!!!
