Professional

Originally, I left a negative review because two of the cans I ordered were listed as 75mg but turned out to be a lower strength. After posting, the team from Nicopods UK got in touch to explain the mix-up — the listing hadn’t been updated correctly — and they offered to send me two replacement pots of my choice to make up for it.

They handled it professionally and were quick to sort things out, which I really appreciate. Mistakes happen, but the way they dealt with it shows good customer service. Definitely a company I’d buy from again.

Sold me expired/end of life product

I purchased snus that was manufactured in 2023 —> two years ago <— with only 14 days remaining before its best-before date. I requested to return the items, as I had no interest in receiving products with just 2% of their shelf life left. The short expiry was not disclosed at the time of purchase, nor was the product discounted as end-of-line or clearance stock.

Despite giving them multiple chances to resolve the issue, the company insisted the product was acceptable.

Would you shop somewhere that ships you expiring product and tells you it’s perfectly fine to keep? It's apparently "good enough" to sell, but not good enough to take back. Make of that what you will.

Update:

After initially refusing a refund, Nicopods UK insisted they were under no obligation because the product was technically still in date. However, under UK law — specifically the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Section 9: Satisfactory Quality) — goods must meet reasonable consumer expectations, including for perishable items like snus where shelf life is a key factor. Additionally, failing to disclose that the product was nearly expired may breach the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (misleading omissions).

After several exchanges, they eventually agreed to refund the unopened items upon return. While the matter was resolved in part, it required multiple legal clarifications that could have been avoided with better customer service upfront.

When I receive my refund I'll bump this to a 2 star

Update: I received the refund for the unopened pouch. I asked them not to resell them. They did not apologise, nor accept any wrong doing during this entire process.
