One part of the project involved woodgrain Nieu doors and drawer fronts for IKEA boxes we ordered to replace old uppers. Everything it perfectly and was easy to install--we have previous experience installing IKEA kitchen cabinets, so this was not new to us. A couple of the door hinge bores didn't align exactly with the holes in the IKEA boxes and Nieu quickly provided an easy solution. Also, beware Nieu pantry doors are bored for 4 hinges instead of IKEAs 3, so order extra hinges. Unlike IKEA, Nieu makes cover panels to fit perfectly, so they were super easy to install with no cutting. We were so pleased with the Nieu doors and drawer fronts on the IKEA cabinet boxes, we decided to add a coffee bar!

The second part of our project was refacing the existing lower cabinets which involved painting the existing cabinet frames and replacing existing drawer fronts and doors with Nieu painted. The Sherwin Williams paint matched the painted doors we ordered perfectly and was super nice to work with--so pleased!

The rest of refacing the lower cabinets proved to more of a challenge and perhaps a bit above our skill level--especially installing new drawer boxes and slides. Whenever we ran into a problem, Nieu representatives were quick to respond and help us with a solution.

I had the opportunity to design my new kitchen with Julia. We gutted the entire kitchen, expanded it, and put in IKEA cabinets. There were no great options for the color and look that I wanted so we decided to go with custom fronts by Nieu. Julia was a joy to work with, and she was so upbeat, knowledgeable, and kind that I would absolutely recommend Nieu to anyone who is seeking to update their kitchen.

We needed new door and drawer fronts for our existing Ikea cabinets. The online ordering process was straightforward and a telephone consultation was included. Our custom order was shipped in a timely fashion and everything fit perfectly. We are very happy with our new modern kitchen.

Julia was very friendly and responsive. However, I do not think I was sent the estimate. I received a few emails with promotional content, but still am waiting on an estimate.

I was helped by Brian and our phone consult was so helpful. I am remodeling my kitchen and don't have a ton of money to spend. Brian was careful to suggest things that could save money and gave me options to compare. My quote was prepared and sent to me the next evening and was $6,800 cheaper than Semihand Made!! The interesting part is that Nieu has better reviews, better customer service and I feel confident that their product is a better fit for my home and budget.

We had an amazing experience working with Tom! He was super helpful in the design process and patient with our changes and questions. The product was delivered in perfect condition with no issues whatsoever. Looks great and is easy to clean, holding up great after 6 months or so. Would highly, highly recommend using Nieu.

I wanted to design and build a spectacular, custom kitchen, worthy of being featured in DWELL or ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST, using IKEA cabinets and on an IKEA budget. I looked at all the makers of cabinet doors, panels for drawers and appliances. There was only one choice -- NIEU Cabinet Doors.

I fell in love with their Skinny Shaker style cabinets, including the fact that I could have them painted myself in a Farrow & Ball color I'd already chosen (Mizzle). No other cabinet maker offered that range of styles or that flexibility.

The icing on the cake was NIEU's customer service rep, Julia, who knew all the IKEA dimensions and saved me from at least a dozen mistakes I would have made without her help.

Everything arrived on time, on budget, and without a hitch, looking even more beautiful than I expected.

The result: a bespoke kitchen that looks as if it was designed by Smallbone or Plain English. A kitchen which has now been featured in shelter magazines and on design websites.

Wonderful customer service! We had MANY questions but never felt like we were a bother. Between emails and phone calls, Julia was always available to help us and was extremely patient!

The cabinets were perfect. The texture, measurements, communication, shipping, etc. All were great.

I had to purchase revisions and reorder because the rep did not explain to me to grain direction limitations for larger pieces. Cost me more money because I “didn’t read the fine print”. I think good customer service explains these issues at the time of consult (what else is the point of a consult) since he knew I wanted vertical grain. Why not just verbally warn/ discuss this before ordering? A discount on reordering is not enough when it could have been avoided with proper education. Yes, I got it fixed but I had to pay hundreds more plus shipping, plus delays because the rep did not tell me this would be an issue considering the cover panel size I needed for this project. Also, if you are considering the wood grain from this company, the toe kick will only come in horizontal. Another thing they did not tell me upfront.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from Nieu as I refit my home’s original built-in cupboards and bookcases. Extremely high quality product, carefully packed and delivered ahead of schedule. Tom was a big help with the measuring and ordering process.
