I would strongly advise against using…

I would strongly advise against using this company.

I booked through DiscoverCars and purchased Full Coverage insurance, so I was already insured. At the NizaCars counter, they tried to pressure me into buying their own insurance for an extra €40. When I declined, they increased the deposit from the agreed €300 to €500.

At the time of return, their staff told me the car was in good condition and everything was fine. Only after I had left did they send me a damage report claiming there was damage to the rear bumper.

Fortunately, I took detailed videos both at pick-up and drop-off, and there was no such damage visible on the rear bumper. I contacted NizaCars and asked for clarification, but they failed to provide any proper explanation or evidence.

This experience felt dishonest and highly unprofessional. I would not use NizaCars again and would not recommend them to others.

Do not rent from this company.

In short:
1) Staff will get aggressive if you do not buy insurance
2) Ask you to sign under pressure for a contract you cannot read and only get in the mail after you sign 15 min later
3) When returning become angry when I want to walk with him around the car. No transparency

Stressful and bad experience

Full review:

Staff will get very aggressive and pressure you saying nothing will be covered if you do not buy their insurance. Was friendly and switched immediately upon us telling him we have our own insurance

After this he asked me to put my signature fullscreen on an iPad to sign for the contract, but did not see the contract he asked me to sign for. I said that I wanted to see what I was signing for. Again, he got very angry. In the end I signed, not being able to read a letter of what I signed.

I got it in the mail 15 minutes later, my signature was transposed on the entire contract. “Signed” for all kinds of damages, clauses and 15 pages of text

When returning I handed the keys, expecting him to walk around the car with me, say everything is OK and be on our way.

Instead he took the keys and said “will check later”. This did not instill confidence. We left not knowing whether everything was OK and they still have my deposit.

Very stressful experience and a stain on our vacation

Unfortunately a very disappointing…

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience based on which I will not consider renting there again. The cars were in very bad conditions (dirty) and damaged - after the car hand over we identified damages (e.g. door lock broken) and had to return the car twice. Were stuck in the rental station for almost 2 hours. The car we took could not be locked for the rental week.

Waited nearly 45 minutes to be collected at Palma airport.
Had to pay €70 because we were both over 65 - which was not clear on your information
No driver to take us back to the airport - eventually the Polish man in the office had to take us.
Terrible service - will never use Nizacars again.

Charging for a “unreal” damage 👎🏻

Your policy to attract clients with low prices and to charge them with a fake damage is completely unacceptable. The operator pretended to find a “scratch” that was not remarked by me during the pick up phase. I swear that that damage was not visible and, please check the picture your operator took when I returned the car. A scandal! I will give my negative feedback to everyone I know. I tried politely to explain my feelings to your operator but he was already acting as he was trained to do that. 320,00 euro for an invisibile scratch that was 100% already there since the beginning.

Never again!

Rental unprofessionalism

I had a car reservation at 8h00 PM, i arrived at 7h00 hoping to get the car a bit earlier, and they made me wait for 1 hour because the car was not ready they said, and they made me a deal to pay 192 euros which was a complete bullshit and then after waiting for an hour they gave me the same car that i wanted in the begining for only 20$ and the agent doesn’t smile and they are ao unprofessional, it took them 20 mins just to figure out how much they should take from me as excess because they didnt know, and they try to make you pay for anything extra. I dont recommend renting cars from them!
