⭐ AVOID THIS COMPANY

⭐ AVOID THIS COMPANY – Dangerous Vehicle & Zero Accountability

How a company looks after you after the sale says everything—and unfortunately, my experience shows this company does not care about customer safety or responsibility.

The fact I was made to complete the review before even viewing the vehicle speaks volumes!

I purchased a Renault Zoe and collected it on 01/10/25. The heating and A/C were not working from day one, and I agreed to return it after my pre-booked 14-night holiday (15/10/25–29/10/25) because I was told the repairs might take several days. In the meantime, I only used the car for short local trips—home to school and back.

On the day of the incident, I took the car onto the M6 northbound (J9–7, variable speed limit 60mph). Without warning, I heard a rattling/knocking noise—then the entire wheel flew off the car. Not a blowout—the whole wheel detached, sending the car scraping along the motorway for 15–20 metres. It also caused serious damage to the front passenger side and potentially the structure of the vehicle.

The RAC technician confirmed it was a mechanical issue, stating the wheel could not have been secure for this to happen. The report referenced wheel nuts, studs, and bolts. He even said how lucky we were the car didn’t flip, because this could have easily caused severe injury or worse.

The most frightening part? My children had been moved to my husband’s car just 45 minutes earlier. The thought of what could have happened doesn’t bear thinking about.

Instead of taking accountability, Nawaie Motors suggested someone tampered with the wheel nuts in a secure airport car park. An unbelievable and insulting explanation considering the RAC’s findings.

My insurance company has now written the car off. After just 29 days of ownership, I’m left with:
• £250 insurance excess
• Increased premiums
• £700 shortfall between the finance settlement and the insurance payout
• And no car at all

This has been an incredibly stressful, dangerous, and costly experience. A company that hands over a car in this condition—and then deflects blame instead of taking responsibility—is one I would tell anyone to avoid at all costs.

Hi Roxanne,

Thank you for sharing your experience. First and foremost, we are truly relieved that no one was hurt. We fully appreciate how frightening this incident must have been, and we never take matters involving customer safety lightly.

Regarding the heating issue, we had already agreed to repair it and were simply waiting for your return from holiday so the vehicle could be brought to our garage showing our commitment to post sales customer service.

All our vehicles go through our full preparation process before sale, including a 150-point inspection, a two-junction motorway test drive, a ramp check, and a fresh MOT completed by an independent garage which was carried out three days before collection. The car had also been driven approximately 350 miles after purchase and remained parked for some time at a commercial parking.

Following a detailed review with your finance company, it was mutually agreed that the issue was not present at the point of sale. As this incident occurred after handover and the nature of the issue being outside our control, we are unable to accept liability for the resulting damage. Nevertheless, we still offered to assist by carrying out repairs at a discounted trade rate which was not accepted.

We understand how stressful this situation has been and we sympathise with the inconvenience caused. We remain committed to providing a professional and fair service to all our customers, and we are always open to constructive discussion should you wish to speak with us further.
