Get what you pay for

I didn't have too many problems with this company and am surprised at the low reviews. Their support team is always responsive and helpful. Most of the machines are aging, and the support sometimes doesn't seem to care too much. But it's all part of the cheap price. Their control panel was excellent; I could reinstall an OS very easily and often if I had to. Seems like the last time I ordered an "instant" server, the tech guy said he would have to wait until morning so that the sales team could verify my payment. Verify? I successfully got a refund from them. But I had used them before with few problems. The company is certainly not a scam, just a little hard to get along with.

I am truly not satisfied. It seems that for a simple $100 order, customers are expected to wait for days. This is unacceptable and extremely disappointing.
The whole process is slow, frustrating, and poorly managed. A company should value its customers’ time and provide faster, more professional service.
I expected much better. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with no confidence in your service.

Misleading "Instant" Dedicated Servers: No rDNS control for multi-IP blocks

I purchased an "Instant Dedicated Server" (AMD Legacy Quadcore) with a /29 subnet (5 usable IPs) specifically to run a Proxmox environment. Despite advertising "usable" IPs, Nocix fails to provide the basic automated tools required to manage Reverse DNS (rDNS/PTR) records, rendering the IPs useless for mail servers or professional production environments without constant manual support intervention.

The Detailed Failures:

The "Legacy" Trap: Nocix sells older hardware at a discount but hides the fact that these servers are tied to a legacy management panel. In this panel, rDNS settings are non-existent.

Support Gatekeeping: When I requested rDNS access, support (Jessy/Ben) attempted to manually set a single record rather than providing the control tool requested. For a "work in progress" server where VMs change frequently, having to open a support ticket for every PTR change is a massive operational bottleneck.

Misleading Marketing: They advertise "5 Usable IPs." In modern networking, an IP is not fully "usable" if the customer cannot control the PTR record to match their A record.

Hostile Cancellation Policy: After 2 days of migration work and finding the service technically insufficient, I cancelled. Nocix hides behind a "No Refund" policy despite the service not being as advertised for technical use.

Timeline of Events:

Deployment: Server set up instantly.

The Discovery: Spent hours searching for the rDNS setting. Realized the UI link for the /29 block was non-functional/missing.

Support Interaction: Support refused to enable a management tool, offering only manual updates by staff.

Resolution: Cancelled service within 72 hours. Returned to my previous provider (Dartnode) where full SDN control is standard.

Verdict:
If you are a hobbyist who needs a cheap box for a single task, Nocix is fine. If you are a professional or a Proxmox user needing full control over your assigned network block, stay away. Their "budget" pricing comes at the cost of your time and technical sovereignty.

I’m not giving it 0 stars because I can’t; the service is awful, it goes down all the time, and even when it’s their fault they TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOTHING. Terrible service—save yourselves a lot of anger and DO NOT hire their service.

Ive been using them on and off for…

Ive been using them on and off for years If youre hunting for unbeatable hosting value, NOCIX is the hidden gem in a crowded industry. Their servers are rocksolid delivering consistent uptime and stability that punches far above their price point. Whether you're running a small site or hosting an entire game network, the performance stays locked in without sneaky surcharges or throttling. Add in their straightforward pricing, generous specs, and responsive support, and you've got a provider that genuinely respects your budget and your time. No gimmicks and no fluff just raw, reliable infrastructure that lets you focus on what matters. I personally use them for learning network security, so they are very useful.

Incredible support and service for the price

We've got a full cab with NOCIX and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Being new to colo, I was a bit worried I may be getting in over my head but it made sense financially to stop leasing hardware from other providers. I've found the quality of service and support from NOCIX to far exceed my expectations. They're really quick when new packages arrive to rack new gear, very communicative and quick to respond to ticket based inquires. Aaron seems to run a tight ship. We're using their in-house transit via WSI and have had no issues. We've been a paying customer for about six months now and look forward to growing our business in Kansas City with NOCIX as our datacenter and colocation provider.

Go here if you don't care about uptime or connectivity at all

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. The price and the additional IPs looking appealing but your better off running your stuff off a Dell Optiplex. I've attempted to run VMs off this service. Every time I would attempt to upload a file to an external server (I was trying to migrate to a different server) or try to download a file more than 2gb, the server's entire network would just crash. It would come back in 5 minutes a few days ago but now it won't even come back and I have to contact tech support in order for them to bring it back. It feels like reviving someone every time their heart stops. I would love a refund but their TOS states no refunds. So now, I'm stuck transferring every little file to another host and money down the drain. Go somewhere else if you care about your uptime.

Criminals Masquerading as a Hosting Company – NEVER Use Nocix.net!

Nocix.net is a complete sham of a hosting provider and nothing short of criminals in disguise. They locked me out of my account, deleted my pre-paid dedicated servers, and imposed a ridiculous 48-hour deadline to move my data—during a HOLIDAY when I was on vacation! This wasn’t just unprofessional; it was outright malicious and negligent.

Their actions violate multiple consumer protection laws, including breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, and unfair business practices. Under the FTC Act, their failure to deliver pre-paid services and their lack of proper notification for termination are clear violations. They’ve caused irreparable harm to my business by destroying critical data, taking down customer websites, and wiping out significant revenue.

Make no mistake: this company is dangerous to your business and livelihood. They operate with zero accountability, no respect for their customers, and reckless disregard for the law. They should be investigated for fraudulent practices and negligence.

If you’re considering Nocix.net, STOP. Run far, far away and find a reputable hosting provider that actually respects its customers. Don’t fall victim to their shady business tactics and outright disregard for contractual and legal obligations. This company deserves to be shut down. I’ll be filing complaints with the FTC, state attorney general, and any other regulatory body to hold them accountable for their criminal behavior.

They have been fantastic

They have been fantastic. Support answers in minutes. It's likely that most other bad reviews are from inept server managers.

Also, they have great affordable pricing. Highly recommend.

Good experience

Hello, i am writing this review because i saw all the negative reviews about Nocix, we have been using Nocix for 10 days now, the servers are extremly cheap, work as promised, I can recomand them to anyone who needs a cheap dedicated server. Only bad thing is that the delivery time is long.

Not recommended, why do you do you?

Got two servers from them,
The first server worked perfectly, had no issues with it.
When i got my second dedicated server, is when stuff went sideways.
The server kept crashing under any load, after which they tried to "replace both disks". They only replaced one disk and continued to say everything went fine. It didn't and it kept swiping to kernal panic, after which they again stated that the server worked fine.
We reimaged and setup the server 3 times, which took us a mass load of time.
I appreciated their first server, but their horrible support and bad dedicated servers are worth absolutely nothing.

Advice:
DO NOT GET A SERVER UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR MONEY FOR NOTHING
