Horrific. Sent completely different item, refused to refund. Fake cheap chinese rubbish

Absolutely awful. The website states this lady handmakes all of this jewellery! It's actually shipped from China and is mass produced and cheap. This is dishonest and wrong. If you try to complain you get a blanket patronising response that does not answer your queries. This is definitely false advertising. Do not buy 😒.

I would have gave it a few minuses. Total scam not from a lovely lady who is retiring from York, England, but China. Also forget about free returns. Just doesn't happen. Horrendous

COMPLETE SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This company is running a fraudulent operation that cost me around £175 for worthless garbage. Here's what happened:
FALSE ADVERTISING: They brazenly lie about their products being "handmade in the UK" when everything actually comes from China. This is deliberate deception to justify their outrageous prices.
TERRIBLE QUALITY: The "jewelry" I received was laughably bad - cheap plastic masquerading as stone, arriving already broken. You could find better quality at a pound shop.
REFUSED REFUND: Despite canceling my order just TWO HOURS after placing it, they flat-out refused to refund my money. Then they had the audacity to ship the broken junk anyway.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE: They clearly don't care about customers once they have your money. Their refusal to honor a same-day cancellation shows they know their products are worthless.
WARNING TO OTHERS: This is textbook fraud - fake origin claims, grossly overpriced products, terrible quality, and refusing legitimate refunds. They're counting on people being too embarrassed or tired to fight back after being scammed.
Save your money and buy from legitimate retailers. This company is stealing from customers with fake products and dishonest business practices. Report them to trading standards if you've been similarly scammed. should be reported to trading standards, Action Fraud, Citizens Advice, and your bank for chargeback claims to help recover your money and prevent others from falling victim to this elaborate scam. Just take all information from website and screenshot if you received the item with website link and contact with your bank. Your money will be taken immediately after you dispute your transaction- please don’t allow them to take your money.

I ordered a pair of earrings and then a message flashed up and I foolishly pressed into it. This landed me with a second pair of the same earrings. Needless to say only one pair of very shoddy earrings arrived but money for both has been taken. I cancelled the second pair in less than 5 mins but to no avail. The reviews are true this is a con company based in China pretending to be based in York. Do not waste any money on the junk rubbish that is sold through this totally sham website.
Sophie replied to me after three emails offering discounts and vouchers for more stuff a lucky bag would be ashamed of. Just don't buy and hopefully they will get the message.

I ordered what I thought were lovely ear rings from a site where a lady who made hand made jewellery was retiring and selling off her stock. When eventually these were delivered it was by Amazon Shipping Uk from Yun express. I could have got a cheaper pair off Amazon if I had wanted cheap ear rings. Very Disappointed

I have not brought anything from Nola Boutique, because lucky enough I remembered to use trust pilot first, but I had ordered some clothes from Bonmarsh clothing, said they were closing down, so I ordered stuff with never arrived, same thing SCAM FROM CHINA always check by googling or trust pilot first, before ordering… lv’e learn my lesson

This company is a sham! They are purporting to be UK based in York, this is not true, the telephone number is also fake. The advert is fake, they are useing a kindly older person's photo, who looks very trustworthy and she is saying 'I am due to retire' it also shows the lady with what looks like arthritic hands - it all one big con THEY ARE IN FACT BASED IN CHINA! When I emailed to ask when my earrings would be delivered, I received a very nice email from 'Sophie' which included a link to track my parcel BUT you have to pay to track it! No date given for delivery, just says my order has been dispatched. I spent over a £100 SO BEWARE, DO NOT BE FOOLED! I am now disputing this purchase through my credit card company, wish me luck! Don't just take my word for it, SEE OTHER REVIEWS ON THE WEB BY PEOPLE WHO ARE ALSO FEELING DUPED AND VERY ANGRY. NOT ONE GOOD WORD HAS BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT NOLA BOUTIQUE! 😡

If I could give the products from this 'boutique' a zero I would.Absoulute scam .Wish I had read the reviews first.The quality is absolutely grim not even the standard that my children have made from a junior craft kit ,these items will be going straight in the bin as I would be embarrassed to wear them.
So annoyed I fell for the smart website and the story of an artisan business closing down.
The £45 I lost to these scam merchants will serve as a reminder that if it looks too good to be true it probably is
Trust Pilot reviews are forwarded to the company,I can't imagine they are bothered -too busy laughing all the way to the bank.

This is a fraudulent site. My jewellery came this morning and went straight in the bin it was cheap and tacky. It cost me £43 ,it will teach me to always read the reviews. 0

This is a scam! Does Nola exist?
Do not order from this fraudulent company. They are not based in York and items are sent from China. I received cheap shoddy earrings that were nothing like the picture and I could have probably purchased from a pound shop. They are getting away with this because they are based in China and there's nothing we can do. Please don't purchase anything from these people, you will be wasting your money and have no redress. They are not interested, just want your hard earned pennies. Rubbish now in the bin.

Would give zero stars if I could! This products are shocking. So cheap and I feel I have been cheated. Definitely avoid st all costs.

Took website as real at end of May ordering £82.00 worth of jewellery for a friends Special Birthday and a Christmas present for another. Then on reading reviews tried to cancel payment with bank before payment was made to no avail. Wish I had read reviews items delivered tonight by Amazon and are cheap and nasty as previously stated. Can't believe how I was so Stupid usually watch buying onlone

Warning warning warning. Do not buy from this site. Everything is cheap and nasty, not handmade and quality the same as novelties from bargain Christmas crackers. Not sterling silver or semi-precious gems but plastic tattoo. This us a scam and shoukd be avoided at all costs. Trading standards need to investigate these fraudsters. All the stock comes from China and cannot be returned as too costly abd difficult as customs fax must be paid.

This company are all about scam. I ordered a pair of earrings on 22.3.2025. First they tried to double up the order to two pairs. Then everytime I query non delivery I had a prompt email saying “sorry looking into it, please be patient”. Finally a package arrived today 5.6.2025. Earrings were wrong style, very tiny, cheap and nothing like the ones ordered. Do NOT use this company

Avoid at all costs!!! This company is not what it appears to be and is a scam. The same items can be found across the internet, the photo of the jeweller is fake and the company is Chinese … not a small studio in York. I fell for this scam - tried to get my money back within half an hour of ordering - refused. This is a big lesson for me - I will be much more careful who I purchase from in the future
