I recently went on my second remote expedition with Nomad Mountaineering this time to Knoydart. The trip was incredible. We were able to experience the great Scottish wilderness knowing that we were in safe hands with expert advice and guidance throughout the trip from Mac and his team. 1st we took a boat from Mallaig to Knoydart and even saw dolphins on the the way there which was truly special. Not to forget the wild horses, otters and highland coos along the way. We climbed two munros and wild camped for two nights, one of them next to a beautiful loch where we were able to dip. Our trip finished at the UK's remotest pub the Old Forge. The delicious pub grub and beers were the icing on the cake. Loved meeting and getting to know new people and looking forward to my future adventured with Nomad. Highly recommend them.

From start to finish my trip to Knoydart was very well organised. Mac gave out detailed kit list and clear travel plans. Throughout the trip I was given support by both mountain leaders with alternative options provided to achieve goals. Safety was always priority which reassured me in booking further trips.

Just back from the Knoydart expedition with Nomad mountaineering. It was an incredible expensive with Mac & Callum making us feel like we were in a safe environment all while testing our limits and trying new experiences. Already looking at booking onto the next trip!

Everything was really well organised, and our guides Mac and Callum were fantastic — knowledgeable, supportive, and always helpful. The combination of breathtaking scenery, a good physical challenge, and great company made it an unforgettable adventure.

I’d recommend Nomad Mountaineering without hesitation to anyone looking for a truly memorable adventure in the Scottish Highlands (or further afield!). I’ll definitely be booking with them again!

Just completed another incredible adventure with Mac from Nomad-Mountaineering. This time our expedition was in Knoydart. Thanks to Mac and his team we were able to safely experience and navigate this remote landscape, climb 2 Munro’s, walk and climb in the most beautiful surroundings. We saw dolphins, otters, wild horses, highland cows and birds of prey. We camped on a mountain under the stars and on a white sand beach on the edge of the most stunning loch. We experienced wild swimming and campfires and made friends and new connections with some fantastic people who were also on the trip. Mac’s knowledge and experience is incredible. He shared his skills and knowledge and we learned a lot along the way. Highly recommend booking with Nomad-Mountaineering. You won’t regret it!

Took part in a guided hike in the Cairngorms recently and was thoroughly impressed by the work of Mac and his team. Safety is at the forefront of everything they do and they were able to adapt the route with ease when we encountered adverse weather conditions on the day. Guidance was always crystal clear and the morale was kept high throughout, you're in safe hands with this team!

Recently took part in one of Nomads guided Hikes in the Cairngorms. Great experience, guides were brilliant. Will definitely be signing up for other adventures with this company.

This was my second trip with Mac and Nomad Mountaineering. Outstanding organisation, communication and all round great fun to be around. I would highly recommend (and have done so) to anyone who wants to get stuck into some adventures. This won't be my last trip with Nomad!!

Just did the Scotland March in the Cairngorms with Nomad Mointaineering. Outstanding trip, great fun and very well organised. Mac and the other MLs were very professional, keeping the trek safe, fun and a good challenge for all! Highly recommend going on their adventures!

Have been on 2 charity hikes with Nomad Mountaineering and both weekends have been absolutely brilliant.

Even when there was a last minute accomodation change completely outside of their control the team at NM absolutely went above and beyond and against all odds managed to save the day.
This made the whole experience even better.

NM is run by great knowledgeable people who are approachable, helpful and are some of the best in the field.
Me and some friends have also just booked in for a Norway trip next year knowing it will be more of the same.

I can't say how much I enjoyed this experience - from the very beginning I knew this was an experience I couldn't fail to enjoy. Everything was so well organised from kit lists, accommodation and information about the route itself we were to follow. I felt safe and well supported every step of the March. The group was so friendly and everyone looked out for each other. The Leaders were absolutely brilliant, kept a watchful eye over everything. The day after the March there were classes to help those tired and sore bodies just what was needed. To top it off the March was to support The Polar Academy a fantastic charity. You won't be disappointed if you choose to join these expeditions!

Just finished an absolute incredible experience in Norway with Nomad Mountaineering.
The trip was lead by 2 guides who are just world class in their field of work. Myself and the team were educated, tested and supported to the summit of each mountain we conquered. The new skills I have been shown will come with me to the next expedition I book on to with them. A excellent company to advance in all outdoor expeditions and survival skills. Could not recommend highly enough.

What can I say, a fantastic experience with a great bunch of people, lead by two incredible individuals. Just finished the Land of the giants and would absolutely recommend. Definitely not easy, but definitely worth it. Will booking again with Nomad soon.
