If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is a scam. “Leather boots with wool lining” were actually plastic or more likely a paper product made to look like leather with thin polyester lining. Honestly, they’re too cheap to donate to goodwill. I estimate they’re worth $5. It’s clearly a scam to get you to buy them and not want to go to the trouble or expense of sending them back to “the Netherlands” although they shipped from New York. And accept a 30% refund instead. So they got $75 of my money. Lesson learned. BTW I google mapped the address on the envelope which “customer service” claimed was just a shipping hub and it’s not a shipping hub. NYAG would probably be interested in this company.

Deceptive advertisement

Bough a lamp, and paid the expedited shipping, upon arrival of the item that took considerable time and came from China, the item was nothing like the pictures or the description i reached out to customer service and they said they will refund the money after they receive the item , that had to be sent to neatherlands, and thats where the scamming takes place , they offer you to refund 30% of the price of the item so you dont have to incur in shipping charges , and if you accept they would have make a profit out of you for an item that clearly is not even 10-15 % of the amount they originally charged , please dont fall for this company!!

Total a scam

Total a scam! Order outdoor christmas stand up bulbs.
They are blown up beach ball! I live in Wisconsin, we have winters with snow and winds. They total are using other company pictures for advertising. Their product are crappy, cheap and shipped out of New York and if you want to return them, you have to pay for the shipping to the Netherlands. I did just to prove a point, almost cost the same the product. Never, Never purchase anything from this company they are totally cheating and lying to people. SCAM!
Also still waiting for my refund! AMD

multi-function vegetable…

I ordered two multi-function vegetable peelers. One came with a broken blade and I have been unsuccessful in getting any kind of a response from the company despite numerous attempts.
The one that wasn’t broken does not work any near how their web site shows. Very disappointed.

A scam

A scam. The product photos are stolen from other websites. Counterfeit products from China. Once items arrived I received no response from company when I requested a return. They also will not cancel purchases before they ship- another huge redflag!

Ordered what I thought was a handcrafted sand art frame from the Netherlands, turns out it was cheap plastic in an awful box with a guy in a spacesuit on it labeled in giant letters MADE IN CHINA.

wool lined boots - a cheap false knock off

I bought a pair of wool lined winter boots for the cold rainy weather in Ohio

I received a pair of acrylic look like lining
The laces are too short to lace and tie
The heel surround is not stiff and collapses when you try to wiggle your socked foot in the boot
While they were 50% off and only $50 dollars I should have seen the red flags coming my way. They are a cheap knock off of the picture and made in China. Wish I had known the reviews this company has gotten and I would not have ordered them.

Regrets a lot of regrets.

NOMARDIC LEATHER AND WOOL LINED BOOTS

I ordered the leather and wool lined boots on Dec 30, 2024. They do a great job marketing and showing pictures, describing the product etc.... A newer company out of the Netherlands, there was not alot of info regarding complaints, but it is legit company and passed security requirements. Their information even showed distribution from US cities, so thought it was ok. After placing the order and seeing it would take 20+ days to receive, I knew something wasn't right, but thought maybe it would be ok since it was from the Netherlands. Well, the boots I received are nothing like the picture, they are not buttery soft high quality leather and they are not European wool lined. The chemical smell coming off them was so strong I had to put them in the garage. Very deceptive and fraudulent practices. I have contacted PayPal and opened up a claim. I have contacted Normadic by email and they have their reply down quite well. I can return the item for a full refund, but if I don't want to incur the cost of return shipping, they will refund 30% , and I can keep the boots. I have replied that if they want to refund my cost entirely, I will donate the boots to a local shelter. If not, they need to do better than 30% or I will return them. This is where I am at.

Credit card Companies do not pay this…

Credit card Companies do not pay this MISLEADING COMPANY. It advertises one thing mimics Frontgates products and you get something else. They write one thing on the description of the product but it's not truthful. Or they leave out certain things so it comes accross as the real deal of the product and by the time you received it and want to return it they charge you a ridiculous amount
because they want you to ship it back to Nederland and the shipping alone can cost more than the item. It becomes a back and forth battle with them and as a customer you end up losing.

Very misleading advertising & terrible return policy!

Like many of the other reviewers, based on their web site photos, I purchased what I thought were nice metallic outdoor Christmas ornaments, which turned out to be cheap looking "beach balls" basically! They were shipped from somewhere in New York, but I was told my return had to go to the Netherlands! So, they sent me a lousy 30% refund and I'm stuck with two ugly balls that I would never put in my yard! This is a clearly an intentional practice on their part and totally inexcusable! I will never order from them again.

I received the package

I received the package. And and imagine my surprise. In 51 years of purchasing products this was a first. I don’t think I’ve ever been bamboozled so bad the picture represented a 2 foot diameter, hard plastic Christmas ornament with a metal top and a wire to hang it with,in addition, it had handpainted decor. When I received this package and these were inflatable beach balls, I was embarrassed for your company. I’m not sure what else to say but this is a terrible misrepresentation. I’m not sure if you want to call it bait and switch, false advertisement but at any degree your company should be ashamed.

This company does not give accurate…

This company does not give accurate descriptions of products. Ordered “large Christmas outdoor balls” never mentioned balls needed to be inflated. What I received was large beach balls!!! When I complained they said I can return. Guaranteed returns after 14 days meant you have to pay for shipping & is an international company!!! Shipping cost me $48.00 & 3 beach balls totalled $78.00. This false advertising should be illegal.

I purchased 5 large Christmas ball…

I purchased 5 large Christmas ball ornaments for outdoor display. I saw the flashy ad on Facebook market place ( Shame on FB for not vetting their advertisers, but I don’t expect anything less from FB these days - I’ve since deleted my account) for a Total $104.89. They arrived 4 weeks later jammed in a small white jiffy envelope. The smell of the plastic alone was revolting. Upon opening one ornament that needed to be inflated, it was clear that these were NOTHING like the images on their website. In fact, upon closer inspection, the images on their site had been stolen from Grandin Road or Horchow. These were dull, purple not Christmas red, lime not Christmas green, beige not shiny gold caps - just poor and I mean really poor imitations. The jiffy bag contained no return instructions, in fact no paperwork at all. I emailed info@nomardic 6 times before I received a response with return paperwork requesting these items be returned to AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, or I could keep them and they would refund me $20. Be warned this is a total SCAM.
I tried returning them to the address listed on the package via UPS to 746 S Glasgow Avenue, Inglewood, CA, 90301 at a cost of $18.00 return shipping to me. The package was refused at the warehouse and returned to me.
I’ve contacted my bank to deal with these scammers. I have shown proof of return shipment, tracking info and and proof the package was rejected at the warehouse, my bank has credited my account and UPS has credited my account for the shipping, so I’m not out, but everyone else is. Not to mention the time involved to sort this out.
The address is listed to multiple corporations ( scammer alert). Google maps shows a Freight and forwarding company in that location. My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau.

I literally never write reviews

I literally never write reviews. I’m not that kind of person, but this experience was so awful that everyone needs to be warned. I ordered those cute cargo pants with the adjustable waist as shown on Pinterest. First off I never received a confirmation email I never received tracking info, so I had no way of knowing if I was going to get my item or not or when, and then I contacted them and they never got back to me. I for sure thought I got scammed well, three weeks later I get my pants and when I say they’re nothing like advertised they are nothing like it!!! Completely different pants as shown in the picture, they should be ashamed of themselves.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY!!! IT'S A MAJOR RIPOFF! The three items I received were not "weather resistant resin with brightly painted finishes and realistic details" as described in the write up nor were they illuminated as displayed in their photographs. Instead, they are vinyl blow-ups. Think beach balls or swimming pool floaties. They have none of the texture and detail as advertised. The plaid choice is nowhere near the design shown online. What a scam!

Stay Away

I was really looking forward to dealing with Nomardic, as they seemed to have a well-curated collection of sewing machine hardware. Unfortunately, they have turned out to be one of the most difficult companies I have had to deal with:
1. The item arrived 25 calendar days after ordering.
2. There was never any acknowledgement email sent to me after the order - I did not receive an order number, nor did I know whether or not the order went through successfully. In order to get any type of status update on the order, I had to confirm through my credit card merchant.
3. The item was significantly not as described. After several back and forth emails with their customer service, it was pointed out to me that the listing did indeed state the item correctly. The item listing was for a laser sighting, which was supposed to come with three different lenses, whereas I only received one lens (which rendered the item completely useless to me). Their representative pointed out that the one lens was noted during the checkout procedure, however, throughout the written description of the item, it was heavily implied that the item would ship with all three lenses. Nowhere in the listing did it state that the three lenses would need to be purchased separately (with other vendors, the same item ships with all three lenses).
4. The items were overpriced by about 50%.
5. While the items were advertised as being returnable, the actual return process was convoluted and time-consuming, and the customer has to pay for their own return shipping (including insurance) to the Netherlands.

Positives about the site:
- The customer service representatives were very polite and attentive, although it took them about 48 hours to respond to any inquiry made.
- The items were definitely overpriced, but were of high quality.

The item I purchased retailed for $40 on the Nomardic site (with only the one lens), and purchasing all three lenses would cost approximately $90 - $95. I wound up purchasing the same item (with all three lenses) on Amazon for $45 (and received it two days later).

In the end, I decided not to pay for international return shipping, and am now left with a useless item that I'm not really sure what to do with.
