IMRAN KHALID Titration 1st appointment

I’ve waited around 9 months to get to my titration point with CARE ADHD Imran Khalid was my prescriber and he was very informative and helpful and didn’t mind all the questions I had ! He listened to my main concerns and my lifestyle and has prescribed something to fit into my shifts. I know it’s a long wait but when you do speak to someone they are lovely.

I do not recommend this company if you are hoping for titration.

My assessment and initial experience was very positive. I ha e been waiting for nearly 9 months for titration.... I am now into the 9th month of waiting for any information. They do not answer phones within 2 hours, and when they do it's to provide empty platitudes. The online chat service is terrible and again you usually wait over 1.5 hours and they either shut the chat before you are able to respond to them, or they offer no information or support. The company appears to be poorly ran, with no SLA's or care for individuals with ADHD. I would avoid using their services.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We recognise how disappointing it is to have waited so long for an update, particularly when attempts to contact us have not provided the information or support you needed.

The process following diagnosis involves individual clinical reviews, which can take time, and high demand has placed significant pressure on our capacity. We are actively working to increase capacity and reduce current waiting times.

We also recognise your concerns about the time taken to reach our team and the quality of communication you have received.

We would welcome the opportunity to look into your individual case and understand what has happened. Please contact our Feedback and Resolutions team via https://www.careadhd.co.uk/feedback so we can review this directly.

No regard for patient over-all wellbeing

At the beginning, everything seemed to be perfect, I was offered an assessment quickly but then it's what came afterward that has astounded me. I was given a diagnosis and was awaiting titration for which I was given a max waiting time for that to commence. I have since called twice and had no luck in getting any answers from the company. They recently sent out forms for me to complete in relation to titration, I did all these and then at the end It stated that the wait that I was told originally which was over 6 months ago started from the point I finished the forms despite me not receiving anything. Honestly, after my assessment and what I disclosed as my struggles, there is a complete lack of compassion and a complete disregard for the daily struggles of their patients, I have already started enquiries about changing right to choose providers after a diagnosis and I have been told this is possible.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re pleased that you were able to access your assessment quickly, but we understand how frustrating it is to then face a long wait following your diagnosis.

We want to reassure you that we do care about each individual patient and understand the impact that waiting for treatment can have. The pathway following diagnosis is complex, as each patient needs to undergo appropriate clinical review before titration can begin, and this can take time. We are currently experiencing very high demand, which has also placed significant pressure on our capacity.

If you are struggling while waiting, we encourage you to speak with your GP. Where there is a clinical reason to do so, your GP can contact us to request that your case is reviewed for prioritisation as high risk.

We’re sorry that you have found it difficult to get clear answers when contacting us. We would like to look into your individual case and clarify your position on the pathway. Please contact our Feedback and Resolutions team via https://www.careadhd.co.uk/feedback so we can review this directly.

Terrible Service | Lack Of Care

I got diagnosed in February and submitted my titration request form in march 7 months later im still yet to hear back from CARE ADHD despite sending several emails. When that didn’t work i tried to get through to them over the phone but had no luck with that either which is extremely disappointing.
I initially went with CARE ADHD because they were advertising wait times of around 2 weeks which I should have known was too good to be true. Soo far it’s been a nightmare and it’s seriously taking a toll on my mental health knowing that I am unable to get the help that I need. Up until now I’ve been very considerate and patient but the lack of communication is really concerning. It’s clear they don’t care for the patients.

I’m not too sure what to do at this point it’s affecting my performance at university and feel hopeless. I fear the only option I’m left with is to reach out to my Gp and get them to refer me to another provider.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience and the impact that the wait for treatment has had on you, particularly while managing your studies and wellbeing.

We understand how frustrating it can be to wait longer than expected following diagnosis, especially when you're actively seeking support and feel that communication has been limited. Due to the significant increase in demand for ADHD services, waiting times within our post-diagnosis pathway have unfortunately increased, and we recognise how difficult this can be for patients waiting to begin treatment.

We would like the opportunity to review your individual circumstances and look into the communication you've received. If you haven't already done so, please contact our Feedback & Resolutions Team via www.careadhd.co.uk/feedback. Once we receive your details, we can investigate your case and provide a more specific update.

Thank you again for sharing your experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Support During ADHD…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Support During ADHD Titration

I received my ADHD titration care under Ash (Ashraf Danga), and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He was incredibly patient, supportive and understanding throughout the entire process.

Ash took the time to listen carefully, explain how each medication worked, and guide me safely through each adjustment. I never felt rushed during appointments and always felt heard and reassured.

His approach was both professional and genuinely caring, which made such a difference while navigating ADHD treatment and finding the right medication and dosage for me. Thanks to his guidance, I came away from titration feeling much more confident and informed about my treatment.

I’m very grateful for the support I received and would highly recommend Ash to anyone going through ADHD titration.

Highly recommend

All through the process of diagnosis and obtaining medication, the staff at Care ADHD have been amazing particularly Zeeshan Iqbal, who has been understanding and patient and has replied very quickly to all of my emails and questions. The waiting lists are long everywhere you go but the communication and reassurance has been second to none. I have recommended Care ADHD to everyone I know who is waiting for a diagnosis

I was so excited when I heard about the…

I was so excited when I heard about the right to choose website and saw amazing time frames of eight weeks to get a diagnosis with Care Adhd. I submitted my referral early 2025 and was so excited to finally see if Adhd was the root cause of my issues unfortunately my assessment wasn’t until November of that year so a far cry from the eight week advertise timeframe however I was happy to be seen as soon as they possibly could just to get answers. I received my full diagnosis and was put forward for medication which is a separate appointment. I was given a a timeframe of six weeks once that had passed. I chased Care Adhd and was told it would be a further 12 week wait as there was a long waitlist once that had been and gone I chased again and was told I needed to complete some forms which was sent to me that day I completed them within the hour and was told that now I would re-go onto the waitlist we’re now looking at almost a year since my diagnosis with no support emails go unresponded to and I feel unsupported and unheard given unrealistic timeframe that get my hopes up that support is around the corner when we’re looking at a total of almost 2 years I’m writing this review because I’ve to the point where I don’t know where to go from here and want to raise awareness that the right to choose timeframes aren’t as realistic as expected. All I want is my medication and to feel like life is calm and I am able to cope but all I’ve been given is false hope and a diagnosis that’s going untreated day by day and year by year it would seem.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear how difficult and frustrating this journey has been.

We recognise that clear, realistic communication is particularly important when someone has already waited a considerable amount of time. We are currently experiencing very high demand for ADHD services, which has placed significant pressure on our capacity and resulted in extended titration waiting times. We are actively working to increase capacity and reduce current waiting times.

We would really like the opportunity to look into your individual case and understand what has happened with your enquiries and where you currently are in the pathway. No complaints!

All the staff that I have spoken to since starting my ADHD diagnosis journey have been amazing, really friendly, patient and informative!

I did have to chase them to get my titration appointments sorted (I understand now that they have a vast backlog of patients that they are trying to get through) but they were really apologetic and accommodating.

I truly am so grateful that when…

I truly am so grateful that when choosing a RTC provider I randomly chose CareADHD.

When I read the experience of others with some providers it is clear I would have not found the treatment I needed within the time given. I experienced only support during my titration including help to try a more suitable medication and the time I needed to become stable.

They get a lot of negativity due to communication and how busy they have become which could be improved but I do feel they have my best interests in mind.

THANK YOU!!

Very disappointing experience

I was diagnosed with ADHD in January and was told in May that my clinical screening had been completed and that I was ready to proceed to treatment. I completed all the required forms and was told I would then be added to the bookings list and contacted regarding my first titration appointment.

It is now several months later and I still haven't been contacted or given an appointment. My mental health has deteriorated during this time, and I have been left feeling frustrated and completely in the dark about when I will actually receive treatment.

I understand that services can have waiting times, but the lack of communication and the length of time I've been left waiting after completing everything requested has been extremely disappointing. I expected much better communication and support following my diagnosis.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We recognise how frustrating it is to have completed all the required steps and then wait several months without an appointment or clear information about when treatment may begin, particularly given the impact this has had on your wellbeing.

We are currently experiencing very high demand for ADHD services, which has placed significant pressure on our capacity and resulted in extended titration waiting times. We are actively working to increase capacity and reduce current wait times.

We also recognise that communication during this period needs to be clearer and we are working hard in improving this for our patients.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

After previously complaining and being constantly messed around and given false hope regarding wait times post being diagnosed I was finally booked in for Today (Saturday the 3rd of October at 11.15am) I was given the teams link, I was given a name of the clinician that I would be seeing and a reminder stating this time and date for my appointment. I joined the teams meeting multiple times, I was early, I have been anticipating and praying for this appointment for months struggling to live with my adhd, and I’ve been completely stood up, no cancellation on the clinicians behalf, no communication nothing. I have waited almost an hour for someone to show up. This service is disgusting, the lack of care is disgusting. Someone is going to end up losing their life to this services neglect, I am absolutely sick and tired and completely appalled time and time again. I wish I had never gone through with this provider. If I could give anyone advice it would be don’t use this service and if you can escape using it then please do, I have been diagnosed with adhd since I was 10 years old I’m now 23, I can barely survive without my medication, I have never felt more let down and miserable in my life.
Something needs to change and I’ll be putting in a formal complaint.

We are genuinely sorry to hear about what happened with your appointment, particularly after such a long wait and having received confirmation of the date, time and clinician. We understand how upsetting it must have been to attend as arranged and wait without anyone joining or contacting you.

We take this seriously and our team will review what happened and arrange for your missed appointment to be rescheduled as a priority. We will also ensure that you are contacted with the new appointment details as soon as this has been arranged.

We understand that you intend to make a formal complaint. Please contact our Feedback and Resolutions team via https://www.careadhd.co.uk/feedback so that your concerns can be fully investigated.

Good at the beginning, now waiting too long.

Initially, great, but now communication has dried up. The initial process leading up to consultation and diagnosis was smooth and painless and took very little time at all, I think 8 weeks in total from referral to diagnosis, I was very pleased with this part of it. During my consultation I was advised that the wait for medication was around 14-18 weeks. This seemed reasonable and I was excited.
However, that was over 27 weeks ago. Nearly 25 weeks ago I registered my interest in starting titration.
I’ve sent two contact forms and emails on 5th September and 27th September. I expected a response in 2-5 working days, as indicated by the website. I have had no response.
All I want is to start titration, or at least have some information about when I might start it. The complete radio silence and ignoring all communications for nearly 6 months doesn’t fill me with confidence.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that the assessment and diagnosis process was smooth, but we recognise that the experience since then has been very different.

Waiting significantly beyond the timeframe you were originally given, without receiving a response to your enquiries, is understandably frustrating. We are currently experiencing very high demand for ADHD services, which has placed considerable pressure on our capacity and resulted in extended titration waiting times. We are actively working to increase capacity and reduce current waiting times.
