My three cats are really enjoying this…

My three cats are really enjoying this cat food. They actually tuck in enthusiastically and eat every scrap. The ingredients list is a very pleasant surprise compared to other brands, and I feel like I am doing the best I can for my animals feeding them this (at a not greatly increased cost). Ignore the one star review from a halfwit unable to understand the notion of advertising, bet Tesco's Customer Service staff had a good laugh at him returning his product

My cat is a rescue and I've only had…

My cat is a rescue and I've only had her 9 months. She's 3 years old and is the fussiest cat I've ever had in 50 years. She'll eat something one day and the next refuses. Preferring to go hungry all day, or catch a pigeon, which I certainly don't like. But at last I've found something by pure chance and she can't wait for me to put in the dish. It's what it says and is not mixed up with something else. She clears it completely. I hope it lasts, because it looks good and smells good.

Finally

Finally, I have found a dry food qigong my chihuahuas actually look forward to eating - only tired the salmon variety.

My two bigger dogs are very interested in the kibble too, thought I would put a couple of nuggets into their food this evening too and they went mad for it.

Fingers crossed Tescos don’t discontinue this brand.

Finally, a food my dog loves.

I have a 1yr old Jack Russell girl who has been a nightmare to feed. Hate wet dog food and every fry food I could find except Royal canin mini and then she would only eat small amounts. We got her spayed and it made a big difference, she started to eat her full daily allowance which was a relief but I wasn’t happy with her poo, it was pale and soft, pain in the neck to pick up with a poo bag.
Hubby noticed Nood dry food in Tesco so brought her the salmon flavour, to our surprise she ate it. Now we’ve been down this road before where she eats some then never touches it again but she’s stuck with it and enjoys it. We’ve now tried her with the beef and she loves that too.
Her poo is solid and not as much of it, so easy to clean up now when we take her out. The nutritional value is good and she seems happier in herself. Not tried the chicken one as chicken isn’t good for her, upsets her stomach. Now I’m hoping Tesco don’t do their usual stunt of taking it off the shelves when I’ve finally found a good she loves.

Be wary of Nood Pet Food

Just purchased a box of Nood "Premium cat Food" from Tesco's. The box shows images of filleted salmon and white fish which give the impression that the product will be shredded pieces of fish suspended in a jelly. Other premium brands do this - Hi-Life, Gourmet, etc., The product comprises eight pouches weighing 85g each. Felix and other standard boxes of cat food are 12 pouches weighing 100g each. When you do the sums Nood is twice the price of Felix or Whiskas- or to put it another way to buy a box of Felix at a similar price to Nood would cost you £7 a box. When you open a pouch you find inside small processed chunks - a sort of miniature Felix is how I would describe it. My immediate reaction was to feel I had been duped by the packaging. I wanted fish recipes of real fish not processed chunks of indeterminate foodstuffs. I am returning the box to Tesco and complaining that in my opinion the box is misleading and tricks one into buying the product and paying over the odds. I have seen another brand that purports to be a premium fish product but it has the decency to show what the food looks like out of the pouch. Perhaps Nood should heed that.
