Change for the better

The connection is excellent without the frequent drop outs we experienced with our previous provider and at a great price as well. Although the phone lines are not open evenings they were really quick to respond to emails and resolved our initial issues quickly. There was a billing anomaly with the first bill but I called and that was resolved straight away.
Our previous provider tried to put us off switching to a smaller company as an unknown quantity but we're very glad we made the change.

Excellent service. I have been with No One Internet for 2 years now and they have been faultless. From installation, to communication and services they have been brilliant.

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company. Bumping up the monthly charges after we signed up, even though we were only notified of the changes in February. Customer service is a joke - two e-mails that I have sent in have been met with, what appears to be, an automated AI response which had no relation to my question. Another request has been open for 6-7 days, with no response. Cannot wait to be out of contract with them.

Quick to respond to…

No one Internet are quick to respond to emails and very helpful if there's a problem. They talked me through router set up and understood the needs of a non-techy person, However, I can't give 5 stars because they've recently switched customer support to Home Telecom, who are less helpful.

Great sales, install and service with a few outages on occasion.

Arranging the install and the installation itself was fantastic and the engineers couldn't have been any better.
Service itself is for the most part, spot on. There has been however a couple of issues where, for no apparent reason internet would be lost. It does come back on its own for the most part but on a couple of occasions, I have had to reboot the ONT.

Thanks for the kind review. If you are having to reboot the ONT it might be worth checking the cable between the router and ONT. Please do reach out to support if this continues.

Do not use awful service and speeds

Promised me no price rises now they are saying it's in our TCs which it is but thats in relation to industry rises which they said very rarely happens and it is does its 10p something that they don't even add on basically different to CPI rises, I asked them this several times and they confirmed this through email support and on the phone guess what 6 months into the contract i get a £3 rise!.

Technical support is awful there basically is non. Phone lines do not get answered and when they do the line is dropped and you can to the start again. They claim to be the best there only piggy backing off another company. I cannot wait till the contract ends. Big mistake joining these guys absolute middle man ameuturs, I would strongly advise against these and to go with a reputable provider!

Great customer service

Great customer service. After 6 months of trying to deal with Brillband to get CityFibre installed I was tearing my hair out! No One has been a breath of fresh air. A real person to speak to on the phone straight away. And they passed me to Stephen who has been dedicated to helping me get CityFibre installed with regular updates and support. What a delight! At last I have an installation date confirmed. No idea what the actual internet delivery is like yet, but so far, so good!

Really bad customer support

I've been trying to end my service for weeks, and I have received literally 0 response from No One Internet. It started as a great provider with great support, but recently they're completely gone. Very risky provider, and they seem to try to keep you in by force by not answering emails
EDIT: No One has now reached out to me and is actively working on succesfully ending my service as I requested

Hi. We are very sorry about this. It looks like you have emailed support@noone.co.uk but looking at the message trace it is showing as failed delivery. You then emailed Home Telecom support but they don't look after our Openreach circuits. I have asked a member of the Team to contact you ASAP.
EDIT - Hi Ivan. I'm glad we are in contact now and helping with this.

Please don't get involved

I implore anyone reading to not get involved with No One. The pricing and customer support seems incredible at first, but you will quickly learn your contract is with Home Telecom. Home Telecom have the most dire support of any ISP I've been a customer with. Usually if you call up an ISP and you know about tech, you can speak to someone knowledgeable and skip the "have you tried turning it off and on again" part. Home Telecom literally required me to confirm via email that I had indeed tried turning it off and on again, on the promise they would return to me within 48 hours of receiving it.

And what is the problem that has me wound up? They're are throttling me. Deliberately, and viciously. Despite paying for the advertised 1GB down/1GB up package, and regularly receiving fantastic 900/900 speeds, my connected is throttled to a measly 50-100mb down and FIVE MB UPLOAD during peak evening hours. Make no mistake; this is not a user issue or hardware problem - this is the provider deliberately throttling it's user.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your service. We don't throttle any connections, never have done, never will. I will pick this up now with an engineer and come back to you ASAP. - Edit - I can't find you as a customer under Charles Denney so have asked TP for some more info. Once I have this I will look into this immediately.

Won't match the website price or package

Similar to TwoToneTedfrom Teddingtone, I called to order because the website wouldn't load the coverage checker (possibly because orders.noone.co.uk is giving a 500?). Initially they quoted me a much higher price, high installation fee (which was listed as free on the website), different package name, etc. Seems to be a home telecom problem. After some back and forth they eventually _appeared_ to match the price by simply applying a discount for me, however, looking at the contract they sent through, the package had an incredibly low upload speed (literally 790Mbps slower than the website stated which is tremendous). Then tried to offer me some other package but for 24 months instead of 12. Decided against it given they kept trying to take my details without offering me the actual package I wanted and effectively forcing me to read through the fine print myself.

Hi Chris. Apologies. We had an unexpected issue with our ordering platform between 9am - 1:30pm today which meant we were unable to process online orders. I apologise for the experience you have had and will feed this back to Home Telecom.
Hi Chris, as an update, because our ordering platform was down for a few hours Home Telecom weren't able to offer you our advertised product because they couldn't place an order. This is why you were offered an alternative product. I appreciate the alternative product didn't meet your needs.

Won’t match the stated website price

What is going on here? I was looking to switch from VM. We have cityfibre now so more choices. I looked at Noone and it looked good for 900 M and telephone. When I called them to go through the process they quoted me a much higher price..couldn’t find anything on their system!! I pointed him in direction of their website and he saw it but wouldn’t offer the deal. Constantly holding on for his boss. I gave up in the end. If this is an example of what they are like then it’s not worth trying…pathetic!!

Been with this ISP for just over 2yrs…

Been with this ISP for just over 2yrs now. This is the 2nd review I've reviewed, the first being just after the initial install which went very smooth.

Yesterday my internet went down for the very first time. I logged it with No One and a member of the technical team called me back within 20 mins. After giving some instructions to check things from my side I realised that some of the lights on the ONT weren't on, which prompted him checking the line and confirmed there was an issue. He said he'd get in contact with CityFibre and said he would follow it up once I was back online. Within a hour I noticed the internet had come back online so from logging the call to being back online was approx 2hrs. As promised I received an email today from the engineer explaining the reason for the downtime was a power outage in my area.

As a home worker sending and receiving large files all day long, I heavily rely on a stable internet connection as well as having any issue resolved quickly so I can work. This is the first time I've ever had to deal with logging an outage and im very happy with the service and speed to rectify the issue.

No One is no more but Home Telecom

Joined No One last year based on the good customer experience stories, but it seems that it's gone downhill massively with Home Telecom. My bill went up unexpectedly recently, so I raised a ticket with No One. I realised that they had started charging me for paper bills (which I did not ask for), and told them this. The ticket has been open for 21 days whilst they "try and contact Home Telecom" - and now just been told that they "have to close the ticket" and I should contact Home Telecom directly...

My contract is with No One, NOT with Home Telecom. This is a shocking response and I can only presume that the ticket is being closed so as not to breach any SLAs...

Giving 2 stars only because the actual internet provision is very good.

Hi Simon. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. This has been picked up internally and the engineer who closed the ticket has had additional training around this. Home Telecom has confirmed the charge is an error and will be removed from your account. We apologise for the stress this has caused. We also appreciate the comment about the internet provision being very good.

Amazing customer service.

Such a contrast to the customer service you get with Virgin Media. Instantly get through to someone everything they can to help. I often get through to the same person who remembers me from previous phone calls. Couldn't recommend enough!

Started off promising, now completely lost their way!

No One started out as a promising independent provider and had excellent service.

Sadly they recently decided to partner with Home Telecom, with billing and other functions now being handled by HT rather than No One. It's all gone downhill from here.

I decided to leave after the new partnership started, seeing as Home Telecom has a rather poor reputation, and submitted an order with a new provider.

15 days later I had to chase No One to even confirm that they had received the migration request, which they had. The new provider took over without any issues.

I requested a few days later that a final invoice be generated, along with a refund for the part of the month where I had no longer been a customer.

It has now taken over a month to get this resolved. Every time I had to chase even for a simple update, Home Telecom were at first insistent that no refund was due on account of them treating my migration date as the start date for my 30-day notice period. This was clearly not the case, as not only had an outbound migration request been received, No One had confirmed this was the case!

In addition to this, I was among many users who received an erroneous text message in November stating my Direct Debit payment had failed, when it hadn't, with no update or further communication on the matter.

No One is clearly no longer the customer-focused independent provider they claim to be, and with Home Telecom now on the scene and the introduction of their terms and conditions which include yearly price rises, you'd honestly be better off going elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and for falling short of your expectations in this instance. The delay in resolving this matter was entirely our error. Unfortunately, we were slow in notifying Home Telecom of the outbound request, which should not have happened.

We’ve since implemented new procedures to ensure such delays do not occur again. While we’ve been in partnership with Home Telecom since March 2024 and generally handle these processes smoothly, we regret the extended time it took to address your migration request from November.

Once again, we apologise for the delay and any frustration it caused.

Excellent Fiber Broadband Provider

So, I finally got fiber to my house and one of the service providers offered to me was No One broadband. They offered a really good speed at a great price, guaranteed not to go up in price mid contract which clinched tge deal. The installation was really quick, the engineers were helpful and did a very tidy job. My service was up and running in no time. No One is now part of Home Telecom and the service provided is excellent No issues with speed or outages. The billing is straightforward and with no problems. First class service from a teriffic company.

Leave before 15th Jan or your prices will go up!

I urge anyone currently with No one (now Home Telecom) to check you emails! I signed a contract with guaranteed no price rises for 24 months a year ago. A few days ago I received an email saying as of April the price will be going up!!! Staying with them after the 15th January would have been acceptance of the new terms. I contacted them (customer service used to be excellent but not so good now) and complained. They couldn’t honour my original contract so I cancelled without penalty and will now join Zen. No One was great, Home Telecom have ruined it!!! Only gave 2 stars because when I finally got through, the guy was very nice and my contract was cancelled without penalty no quibble.

Edit due to No One response: My contract should have stayed at 29.99 a month until December 2025 so why on earth would I sign up for £31.99 a month??? Your proposed hike of 10% as of April is a joke and not what I signed up for. I have now signed up with another company for 18 months FIXED PRICE FOR THE TERM OF MY CONTRACT! I would quite frankly rather pay more to a reputable company than stay with one that moves the goals posts when it suits them. I hope this review finds anyone who may not have noticed their email and stops them from being unknowingly trapped in a contract they didn't agree to.

2nd edit: At no point did I say I was trapped in a contract. While I was offered a discount, this was only after I asked to leave and this was not mentioned in your email. I have lost faith in your company and chose to leave anyway. I believe I made it clear in my review that I left without penalty. I had to look very hard through your new terms to find the information about price rises so I do hope you will make sure all your customers will be clearly informed and understand this before your 15th January deadline so that they are not trapped as this so easily could happen!
