Very Thorough

Norton School is a wonderful school for to learn the treatment of lymphedema. I felt very prepared going into the course leading to the ability to have plenty of hands on work at the course. The instructors really cared about me and the content.

Career changing

The Norton Lymphedema Certification class was the best continuing education I have taken in over 20 years of being a physical therapist. The instructors were committed to every student and did an excellent job in explaining this complex system and guiding the class through the hands on techniques. I am so thankful to have this skill to offer my patients. I am also very grateful for the continued support from the Norton School faculty.

Norton School Of Lymphatic Therapy Rates Number One FIVE STAR

I received my lymphatic related training at Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy approximately 14 months ago. The course ran for 8 days and in that time I learned a complete new set of skills. As a licensed physical therapist this added skill set allowed me to further market myself and certanily added to my level of clinical expertise. The instructors at Norton were highly professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of the course training and evaluating. All of the stated objectives listed in course outline were completely covered. Upon completion of the course I was prepared to pratice in the clinic unsupervised as a lymphedema certified therapist. Steve Norton, CLT-LANA was present at course and shared hisexpertise in the field of lymphatic therapy with all students. This company is FIVE STARS in all aspects of professionalism and clinical knowledge of Lymphedema. Highly recomended.

Excellent Course!

Norton's School of Lymphatic Therapy CDT course was excellent. The course instructors were thorough, informative, and supported their teaching with evidenced based research. The hands on lab portion helped me feel confident in my MLD and wrapping techniques.

Worth every penny spent and evey minute of my time.

I was concerned about the intensity of the program but the pre-class work was necessary to allow all the hands on training that happened during the instructor led part of the course. The course was well organized, covered all the bases, and I feel like I can actually go and "do" CDT. The instructors were excellent, knew how to teach to various learning styles and were very supportive. We had a small class which was a great blessing and allowed for a bit more instructor attention. I would recommend this course without hesitation and once I get our Lymphedema tx program up and running, I will ask for this course for other therapists to attend.

Brad Smith's class is invaluable for getting good results with head and neck lymphedema.

I appreciated the online review of the lymphedema theory and practice information in the period leading up to the class. The class was detailed, practical, hands=on and packed with information. The pace was appropriate. The patients who came to join the class and tell their stories were so helpful in putting it all into perspective and reminding us of why we treat lymphedema patients. Lots of samples, lots of good humor and lots of ideas. The class was great.

Learned so much my head felt swollen!!

Took the Lymphedema head and neck course and I learned an amazing amount. The Monday after this course, I was able to return to my clinic and apply knowledge I learned for all my patients, even patients with Lymphedema else where! The instructors were great at teaching and answering questions and the learning materials were well put together as well. I recommend this course to every Lymphedema therapist!

Best course I have attended in a long time!

Brad did an amazing job of taking the information and relating it to every day practice. He brings tons of items for use to see and practice with. I felt I was able to leave and take the new information and apply it to the real life clinic on Monday! Exceptional teaching, course, and applicability!

Comprehensive course that leaves you with a solid foundation and confidence for beginning treatment as a lymphedema therapist!

Enjoyed the various vendors that provided useful info/free stuff that has been useful since I have completed the course! Excellent instructor who provided clinical based knowledge in additional to all the text book/home study information. Content applicable in all settings/populations; I left the course feeling I could use my new skills in various settings with various clients. Overall, very happy to have gone through Norton School and know that I will always have them as a resource as I continue my endeavors in lymphedema therapy : )

Very thorough course

I felt like I was prepared to treat lymphedema patients immediately following training. I walked away with the conviction I needed to explain my recommendations to my patients and answer to their hesitations. The format for the course was tiring but effective. I felt like I emerged into a new vocabulary but gained confidence with the content each day as the week progressed.

I was thoroughly pleased with my learning experience and with how competent I was with the topics at the conclusion of the course.

I loved the way the course was laid out each day. A fairly exact amount of time was spent on a topic before a rest break or moving on, which really helped with not being too overloaded with new information at any one time. even down to what time of day the MLD was performed so we wouldnt be too tired after for the next topic. The instructors (Susan and Dawn) were very professional, knowledgable, and encouraging; which also helps to absorb as much information as possible in a short time. Overall, I was thoroughly pleased with my experience and will certainly continue to speak highly of the course and recommend when the opportunities present themselves. I also had the opportunity to assist in instructing a course for a few days also really enjoyed that as well and would love to be able to do that again.
