Contains maltodextrin
I was unaware the culture contains maltodextrin - this was not disclosed in the details. I recognise the cultures require sugars but I oppose these ultra processed additives.

Nourish Kefir Starter Cultures are not ultra processed.
The kefir is fermented in the traditional way with kefir grains in organic milk.
At the point of drying the fermented kefir to make a powder, a very small amount of organic maltodextrin is added.

I’d been using Nourish Kefir Grains for well over two years and had been really pleased with the positive impact drinking the kefir daily had had on my digestive system.
So you can imagine how disappointed I was when the grains became unavailable. However, I looked at the other options and decided to order the Nourish Goats Milk Kefir Nourish provide. I haven’t been disappointed! -from the delivery to the kefir itself everything has been positive and my digestion is functioning as well as it was using the grains to make my own goats milk kefir.
If the grains become available again I may well return to using them. However, I’m just so pleased there was another option and I’ve been so delighted with the care and support Deborah has provided to get the delivery of the Goats Milk Kefir bottles to me. Many thanks Deborah and your team.
