A happy forth net customer for years has turned into an angry Nova victim of the worst ISP ever

Since the change over from forthnet to nova I have had slow internet and now three days doesn't work at all. Customer service is a joke and a technician never contacted me as promised. Everything had been fine with forthnet for over 20 years. Nova in Spanish means no go....it's in the name .....worst company. My contract is up for renewal. I will be going to OTE.....screw you nova...don't renew...change ISP

Stay Away

I used to be wind customer, so never chose Nova in the first place.
I am not exactly sure what kind of services they are supposed to offer, since everyone seems to be classified as an external partner or contractor.
There is complete miscommunication between whoever is employed at their customer service.
Just expect nothing when things stop working.

Phone and internet outage for 3 days and counting

Phone and internet outage for 3 days. The second in a month. Repeated calls to headquarters, now we are fixing it, now we are taking care of it. Lies! .... They didn't fix anything. In the last 4 days someone who was not a technician(!!!) called me from here in Ioannina on the mobile phone, which is not Nova fortunately, to tell me that the technician will come the next day.
I'm an old customer, from when it was pure forthnet in the 90s, TV and internet, they must have taken thousands of euros from me, but that doesn't count.
I will give it a lot of thought if I renew my contract.
They don't care about customer satisfaction but how to pinch new customers by doing various offers from time to time.
I ate up all my mobile data with tethering and have to buy more. Of course, no one will compensate me for the loss or the man-hours without internet.
Big disappointment!

WHY PAY FOR 100MbPS WHEN YOU RANDOMLY HAVE 1/2/3/4/5/6//14/20/22/30

recently i upgraded my 50mbps connection to 100. for a good period of time it was okay and i was happy without any problems, these past few days though i am getting no more than 40mbps that is not even stable for 10 minutes. I was downloading something and the mbps went like : 5,17mbps/3,16mbps/2,32mbps While it should have been around 7 and 9.

Absolutely horrible ISP

Absolutely horrible ISP.

Just please avoid, they lie about everything including speed and contracts. Only get it if you want to pay your life savings for a 2mbps connection

Just go with cosmote or Vodafone.

They lie and lie and lie. Took 4 months for them to fix the faulty line they set up and blamed us continuously. When OTE confirmed the line was faulty they then refused to let us out of our contract and demanded we pay for the 4 months of no service. 1 year later and they still refuse to let us leave dispite the service being unusable (4mbs while paying for 100).

The one and most important thing I have to say about nova is that they lie about you agreeing to contracts over the phone when all you did was say you will think about it.

Worst experience ever!! The customer service staff lie and try to bully you into believing that you actually agreed to a contract and that you accepted something which you did not. Trying to bind you to a 2 year contract by force. They tell you that if you go to another provider you will have to pay cancellation fees to cover the 2 years contract which I never even agreed to In the first place
When I asked to listen to the conversation that I had with them agreeing to the contract they day they have put request through to the people responsible and they will get back to me. They are lying theives!!

The worst customer service experience

The worst customer service experience. Rude stuff, no competence whatsoever, hung up the phone on me once I have requested the official ticket number for the internet problem I am having for a week already. No clear response,no time estimation for resolution.

To avoid absolutely

I've lived in many countries, but I've never seen such a lousy supplier ! No after-sales service, customer support completely incompetent. You are promised refunds for services not provided which are never paid to you. Networks cuts without corresponding compensation, without excuses or commercial gesture. Simply awful. TO AVOID ABSOLUTELY!

All greek providers are horrible. Can you all just, at least, charge people for what you give them_ Not lie to them? Ο συνήγορος του καταναλωτή θα έπρεπε να είχε ήδη εμπλακεί για όλους σας.

My mobile data is effective enough to give me 45mbps. What a joke of a service.

The worst servise ever

The worst servise ever. We were paying for 24 mbps and we had only 4 and after a while we had many problems with the connection. At some point We didn't had internet for 3 weeks and they send technical service. The guy of the technical service distroyed our telephone socket and he told us that is was an electrical problem. We fixed the socket by ourselfs with tutorials🤣 and then we had internet every few hours for some minutes and every time we were contacting with them they were lying to us saying that there is a general problem at the area or that we have some problem with our cables. We changed to Vodafone and the same day without technician on our place all the problems were solved...

Horrible service

Horrible service. They lie to customers just to quickly sign up for 2 year contracts. Then dont speak. They drop calls. They act they dont communicate between each other. Nova stores can never help you with your problems just to give you general numbers, unless you want to buy more stuff or sign up for another contract of course. They give you connection where its not working and then tell you its your problem not theirs, so you cannot cancel. And forgot to mention their incompetence of even reading properly and create more issues, everything they could do wrong they would.
