Great service

Waited 6 months for delivery and yesterday it came.
The faults
Every chair defective.
The table top was in unacceptable condition with marks all over it and no finish.
The table top was glued onto the base preventing safe movement and making the iteam impractical for normal use,or to move out of door when I move.
So the table and chairs where all taken back with the 3 unprofessional delivery men
I am now seeking legal action if I do not get a refund in 14 days I will go to trading startards for a full investigation.
Table cost £3.700 plus have a dozen photos as proof .

The store manager was exceptionally approachable and highly attentive. She recognised us promptly, offering sincere and proactive assistance throughout our visit. My wife and I left the store feeling relieved and very satisfied, especially having obtained a great bargain. All aspects, including the credit agreement, were managed efficiently and transparently, and the reassurance provided at the conclusion was truly the icing on the cake.
Both the store manager and her colleague exemplified customer-focused service and genuine kindness. They are true assets to the store, and we greatly appreciate their support.

I purchased a Novia sofa (Order BRN-3743, delivered Jan 2023) and noticed the threads on the sofa wearing out within just 1 years of normal use. I contacted customer care and highlighted the issue, but they categorised it as “wear and tear” and refused warranty coverage, despite the early deterioration.

This level of wear is not what I expected from a sofa of this price and supposed quality. I have attached photos to show the problem. I hope Novia addresses such quality issues more effectively in the future.

Andreea dealt with our purchase at the Lakeside store. She was fantastic helping us choose our product and has been great with the after sales service aswell!

My partner Mitchell and I ordered a sofa bed in April 2025 and the delivery date was July 2025. Not only we haven’t received the order but they also don’t update us on the status of the order.
We specifically asked for updates by email which the promised us to do and we never received an update. I am asking for a refund but they give me a very generic answer without confirming we could have a refund. I am trying to call the customer service as they suggested but they never pick up and I was never able to speak to them but only able to speak with the branch where we placed the order. They tell us that they would call us back but they never do.
What a waste of time and money!
I WOULD NOT ORDER ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM.

Horrific experience. Torn and damaged sofa delivered in September 2024, Novia promised a a replacement, this was never fulfilled. They wont replace or refund for the sofa. Poor quality poor service- do not buy from this company

I am writing in addition to review on 30 May 2025.
My product was delivered delayed 2 month delayed.
The sofa product quality is okay and cushion is soft but create scratch noice while sitting and using recliner.
The worst customer service because they called multiple times and agree on compensation of £290 but it was never provided. I have already reported to the financial authorities about non commitment.
Also, while delivering few cushion are missing and committed to deliver but not delivered yet.
Also, they agreed to give puffy but no delivered.
I overall recommendations that don’t buy from Novia since that worst customer service, severe delay delivery and okay product quality.

I ordered a vanity set from The Lakeside Store back in April, and while it was originally meant to arrive in July, the delivery was eventually pushed to August. It ended up taking over 3 months to arrive, and there was also a bit of confusion around the delivery address along the way.

That said, Andreea was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. She kept me informed, explained things clearly, and followed up whenever I needed reassurance her support really made the experience much better.

When the vanity finally arrived, I was blown away. It’s absolutely breathtaking and truly worth the wait though I must admit, I hope I never have to wait that long again for a piece of furniture.

Yet more lies, despite verbal promises and e-mail stating my suite would be returned today. Typical nothing, no call, no further e-mails. The biggest mistake ever, buying furniture from this company. Watch yourself, they have your money before you have goods or repair. -100 out of 10 make me🤮

The moment I stepped through the doors, I was welcomed by Andreaa, whose warm smile immediately put me at ease. She didn’t just greet me—she truly made me feel like a valued guest.

Instead of pointing me in a direction and leaving me to wander, Andreaa offered to give me a tour of the showroom. Together, we walked through the different sofa collections, and I was amazed at how much detail she shared along the way. She explained the differences in materials, from soft fabrics to luxurious leather, and described how each one suited different lifestyles—whether for families, entertaining guests, or simply cozy evenings at home.

What stood out most was how attentive she was. Andreaa asked thoughtful questions about my space, my style, and even how I like to relax after a long day. Then, she matched those answers with sofas that not only looked beautiful but also fit my needs perfectly. She highlighted comfort features, durability, and even gave practical advice about maintenance and care.

It didn’t feel like a sales experience at all—it felt like a personalised consultation, where her goal was to make sure I found something that truly made me happy.

By the end of the tour, I not only had a clear vision of which sofa would be right for me, but I also left with a real sense of trust and appreciation for the service. Thanks to Andreaa’s knowledge, patience, and genuine passion, shopping at Novia became more than just buying furniture—it became an experience to remember.

Avoid!

We spent over 5k, we were told lies constantly, delivery delayed due to customs, weather, no delivery driver. This seems to be common reading other reviews.
In the end had to contact my bank to request a charge back. Worst company I've EVER come across. Thieves and not trustworthy in the slightest.

We were promised a refund of £2000 for our faulty sofa which came apart at the seams. After a long fight with them for a replacement (which never turned up) we settled for a part refund.
We have the agreement in writing from them.
We waited the 21 days for the refund (as per their terms and conditions). Then......nothing.....not a penny showed up in our account.
I tried to call them and yet again no answer.

We are now taking it to a small claims court, it seems to be the only way.

I recently purchased my Sofa set from Novia Furniture and we were looked after by Hasib throughout the whole process, from the moment we walked in, Hasib was very welcoming, professional, patient and helping. He took his time to understand what we were looking for and explained all the option available, clearly and gave us honest advice while we never felt pushed up.
The experience was very smooth and fun from the start to finish, we are absolutely delighted with our new purchase, it's super comfortable stylish and exactly what we were hoping for.
