Unsafe Poor Quality

Unsafe, Poorly Built, and Backed by Incompetent Support

My experience with Novielli Boats has been nothing short of a disaster. The boat I received was extremely poorly assembled, showing a complete lack of marine knowledge and disregard for safety. From the very beginning, it was clear that this company cuts corners at every stage — from design to assembly to after-sales support.

Major issues include:
   •   Leaks: Seawater leaks into the interior, and rainwater accumulates due to improperly sealed hatches. Every hatch leaks.
   •   Air Conditioning: The AC system has never worked — not once since delivery.
   •   Rusting Hardware: The deck was assembled using standard steel bolts instead of stainless steel, which rusted within months.
   •   Electrical Miswiring: The power banks were wired incorrectly, with all batteries tied together as “house batteries.” This setup meant the engine battery was never reserved for the motors — leaving me stranded when power drained.
   •   Unsafe Cabin Hatch: The cabin hatch has no inside release, making it impossible to open from within in an emergency — a serious safety hazard.
   •   Deck Cushions: The cushions blow off at 35 mph because they’re held by cheap Velcro straps instead of proper fasteners.
   •   Electronics: The installed electronics were never calibrated, and the so-called “experts” completely failed to set them up properly despite multiple attempts.

The dealer is equally unqualified, demonstrating no basic understanding of boats or systems. After several failed repair attempts, he simply stopped responding and refused to honor the warranty.

This company is just a startup with no proven record, no craftsmanship, and no connection to the quality associated with true Italian boatbuilding. The glowing online reviews appear to be from people who have never even seen these boats in person.

Bottom line: Novielli Boats is a waste of time, money, and patience. Their boats are unsafe, unreliable, and unsupported. Do yourself a favor — go elsewhere if you value safety, performance, or integrity.
