While Martin Lewis once mentioned your 'Credit Score' doesn't actually exist, we do need to look at your past and current use of credit when making our decisions Gary.
While I'm not in that department, I assume your bank account allows us to ensure we're looking at the right credit report. Without this we'd likely decline you purely because we didn't have any information for you... oh and we also need to know where to pay your money :-)

Hi Anne, I understand that you wanted to be able to amend your DOB on call with customer service but for clarity, certain personal details such as date of birth can’t be amended over the phone, as we require written confirmation to ensure accuracy and to also meet security and regulatory requirements.

We purchased a table from Furniture…
We purchased a table from Furniture village,first mistake I know and funded through Novuna and yes another mistake.We have issues with the table which is 8 months old and neither Furniture village or Novuna will help.They say you never know what a company is like until you call for help,well we did call for help and they are not interested.
Do not use Furniture Village (look at other reviews).
Do not use Novuna to finance either.

Hi Gary. Personally I'm unaware of the problems you've been having with your table, but I'll send you a request for information via Trustpilot. This will allow me to follow up with our Customer Service Team, to understand how you've made us aware of this and the detailed history of the case.
For a faulty product, the first step is obviously to report the issue to the retailer, as the retailer sold the goods and has the primary obligations under the Consumer Rights Act. However, while we can't speak for the retailer, Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act will probably come into play here too.
3x £25 fee for Direct Debit error for 3 agreements!
I rarely ever leave feedback for companies and I have experience of many years of using different finance companies including Klarna, Omnicapital, Clearpay, Laybuy, Barclays to name a few. It's a great way to split payments for bigger purchases and I have had great experience with every company I have used over the past 10+ years.
Really annoyed to see even though a bank error meant my direct debit payments didn't go through properly - I have been charged late fee's of £25 x 3 for three agreements. I called Novuna up promptly and explained the error and that it was my first time having any issue but still these fee's were not waived.
It seemed that if I had financial problems - maybe they would've helped but I should be punished for having finances in order. Really disappointed and won't be using them again.
If you want to run the risk of any of your payments not going through properly for whatever reason and getting £25 charges then go ahead.
