A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Hi!
The Valentino Club Boots I bought from you broke after wearing them for 3 hours. One of the platforms got detached and when I took them to a Valentino Boutique in NYC I was told they might charge me for the repair.
I almost had a heart attack.
I feel so upset and disappointed.
You are selling a very low-quality but very expensive shoes. I feel as If someone robbed me.
Because of this experience I would never buy from you again.
Below is my letter to Valentino repairs:

Hi Kerry!

My name is Olimpia and we spoke on the phone
on Friday.
I have dropped off the Club Platform boots size 39 today
at the Madison Ave Valentino Boutique, to be repaired.

Below is the DHL email delivery proof.
I received the shoes this week,
on Wednesday evening, March 8th, 2023.

I wore them the next day for 3 hours and suddenly felt
that one of the platforms got detached/unstuck.
As I mentioned I am a Professor at the Parsons School of Design.
I wore the Valentino Club Platform shoes on Thursday
around the University building and then walked 2 blocks to F train,
by the time I walked a few more blocks in Brooklyn one of the platforms got detached
and bottom soles showed a lot of signs of wearing off.

I bought those shoes on sale from an Italian Boutique called Nugnes
but the original price was around $1690.

Tyanna suggested I would be charged for the repairs, which upset me.
Not only did it took me a long time to save the money for those dream shoes,
they broke after 3h and then I was told I might be charged for the repairs...???

This is a very bad experience for me.
I was also told that the design is faulty because the platform was made from
a too-heavy material,
so even if I pay for the repair, they might break again...

Please let me know what might happen.
This situation is giving me a very stressful experience
and is influencing my mental health.

I definitely can't afford to pay for repairs.

Company sells defective products

Scratch on shoe and sole was coming undone. Your company was unwilling to do anything about the sole and would make me pay to return it. I have now taken to a shoe cobbler for repairs needed. Seems like the company buy defective products and resells them to customers hoping to get a deal. I would not suggest purchasing from them!

One and done BUYER BEWARE!!!

Terrible customer service I purchased one time from this site and never again it was problems from the get go. The item was duplicated and sent twice then their mistake became my problem to deal with a month of misery trying to get refund. Item was refused by customs and sent back twice because customs flagged as fraudulent goods and all Nugnes kept saying was once it’s returned we’ll issue credit but never really assisted on their end to address all the problems and customs issues and whether product is/was fraudulent or not. On top of everything else they still charged a return fee when it was their mistake! I would NEVER recommend this site to anyone and will NEVER ever purchase from them again BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Once you discovered the mistake and got in contact with us, both of the orders were in transit to United States already and for this reason it was impossible for us to cancel the order. We tried to assist you in any way in order to let the return process be as smooth as possible for you but, as per our Terms & Conditions Shipment blocked by the Customs Authorities in the Customer’s Country of Origin due to incostistency with the international regulations won’t be under our responsibilities.
