Used this service twice because I messed up the drilling on my plate. The second time I also made an error on the order. The team sorted it out as if it never happened. Smooth and responsive.

Number plates not arrived. Emailed their support email address to be told they e been dispatched... Asked for tracking number, no reply. Asked for replacements to be sent... No reply. Asked for a refund... No reply. It's been 3 weeks. I don't believe they have been sent at all. Scam company. Do not use

This firm does not deliver the plates you pay for, I have since asked many times for my money back, I have been in touch with trading standards and they have done this many many times. DO NOT ORDER ANY PLATES FROM THIS COMPANY AS THERE IS A STRONG CHANCE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THEM!!!!! I paid £59_88 on April 11th 2020 and due to COVID could not send the vc5 until the end of august, I have been told twice that they had been dispatched but refused to give me the tracking number. It is my belief this is not a trustworthy business but as a pensioner cannot afford to loose nearly sixty pounds. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK MRS J KELLY

I ordered a new number plate For my bike rack a week before I went on holiday However, my plates never turned up. I send emails but had no reply. I asked to cancel my order owing to time limitations and I could have gone to Halfords but again no reply. The number plate did turn up but I was on holiday at this point.

Document upload works well. That’s the only positive.

Overall not a great experience.

The website is easy to use & upload docs. I received my order very promptly. Unfortunately there were a few blemishes/ dirt/ air bubbles between the laminations. I complained by email, a new plate was produced & dispatched straight away. All you can ask for, no arguments, great customer service. Thanks again. Would recommend. Robert

On Wednesday 2nd September I ordered a standard size front plate and a vehicle specific sized rear plate, I then faffed around for 24 hours finding my V5C and my driving license, scanning them in and uploading the copies to the site, my documents were approved and my plates dispatched on the morning of Friday 4th September (with progress update messages emailed at each of these stages) and my plates arrived this morning, Saturday 5th September, very pleased with the quality of the plates and the service, I'd use this site again. I felt compelled to leave a review because for one reason or another, a few hours after I ordered my plates, I found the horror show of reviews here and thought I was probably about to lose £35! However, my experience was good and the plates are great!

Communication is poor, "helpline" number states that they don't have people manning phones. Very strange.

Edit: Plates have arrived. Good quality and look good on the car (4d plates). Score adjusted to reflect overall experience.

ordered a plate and paid, cant upload V5 as awaiting from the DVLA have asked for a refund ..no response at all to emails and the phone number states they dont offer telephone support, avoid at all costs

Ordered single front plate and money taken. Uploaded required doucmentation straight away. Since then nothing has happened, documentation not marked as checked and no response to emails / online form. Provided telephone number has a recorded message saying they dont provide telephone support. Will be claiming refund via credit card company, do not use!

I originally ordered my replacement plates (for a car I had just purchased) at end of April, but due to lengthy delays with getting V5 from DVLA (the car had a private reg on which increased the delay) I wasn’t able to provide a V5 until end of July. I had requested an extension on the 8 weeks which was not a problem, and received my plates a week later. I was so worried as there were a number of bad reviews but I’ve had a fantastic experience with them. Plates are great, good quality and look fab. I will definitely use them again.

Ordered plates in may paid £56. Still ,not received them... sent 10+ emails still no reply!!! avoid at all cost!!!!!!

Update: had email off them saying they didnt recognise me as a customer, convenient. After all i never received a confirmation of purchase email, but they still took funds out my bank!!!!!

Cowboy outfit. Plate paid for and documents uploaded instantly. Haven't received plate, no response to emails and unable to contact via phone. Avoid number plates direct at all cost.

UPDATE: On 16th September I received an email from John a manager at NPD, having seen my review on Trustpilot he wanted to apologise and would get the order to me or arrange a refund as they are a family run business and this is not good customer service. I explained that I wanted a refund as I’d had to get the plates elsewhere to pass MOT. I receive an email back saying a refund will be arranged and in the meantime would I mind following the attached link to remove my review from Trustpilot. I responded that I would only consider this once the refund was made......Im still waiting and have had no further response to my emails asking why the refund hasn’t been made. Maybe this will jog John’s memory ?

They took my order and money on 15th June 2020 hasn’t arrived, I’ve sent weekly polite emails asking for an update. I’ve received one email asking me to confirm address and nothing since. Definitely would not used, interestingly their twitter link does not work, but they do have Facebook, reviews are awful, wish I’d looked at that first. Do not use this company. Update: received an email from Trustpilot to say this company doesn’t recognise you as a customer, please provide further details for them. I have order number, contact details, the lot....one week later surprise surprise, no one has contacted me. Seeing as numberplates direct only read these, I would like a refund please, I’ve been really polite and patient for the last three months, but I have had to re-purchase elsewhere so I don’t fail my MOT next week.
