The Ninja IQ auto sensor doesn’t leak but is noisy,

My original Ninja IQ went under in Cyclone Gabrielle flooding. I’d tried a similar brand but my older hands couldn't get the top on tightly enough. The cup always leaked. Therefore I bought this new Ninja. I can screw the top on, and it is powerful. IT DOES NOT LEAK!
But, the noise level is not acceptable, I turn it on with the IQ sensory system and then have to leave the room.
I do think that the accompanying cup with the push down function is a good idea for frozens etc.

Nutrininja intellisense

I have had the base of the food processor bowl break off 3 times. The first time I was sent a replacement. The next time I was told I had to purchase a replacement, and I was told that this is extremely rare. When I look up reviews I can see that this has happened multiple people. When I told ninja this they still claimed it was extremely rare. I have super glued the base back on to get a few months more out of it but now the motor has died. Not good enough for a $350 machine!!

Lost a loyal customer

Was a big fan of Ninja and purchased 2 blenders from them. Had a problem when a catch broke on the jug which was handled by customer services brilliantly and I was really happy.

Recently the same catch broke again, this is clearly a design fault - it's a very flimsy catch for a jug with a tight seal. This time it was like dealing with a different company, they ignored my initial e-mail. I phoned and received the worst telephone customer service I've received in many years. Treated like an imposition not a customer and basically accused of throwing my product around?! Told that no one else has had this, it must be my fault and even though I am under guarantee they will not replace it!

Sent e-mail to complaints team which has not been responded to (sent 8th September)

I'm absolutely disgusted and even more disappointed after being so impressed with them first time around. Very sad

MADE IN CHINA

"MADE IN CHINA - Seems to be good quality and no problems with it so far. But, It is way too expensive for it to be made in China considering that you can buy an alternative appliance with a motor for £5 less. I think that this grinder appliance is worth £10. I would not of bought it knowing it was from China."

This was my review at their website - It was deemed not to meet their guidelines, apparently. Whatever that means and was removed. I noticed that there is not one negative review, so they obviously remove reviews that go against their products. I won't buy from them again.

Not an environmentally conscious company

Initially loved the nutri ninja, but after one and a half years use (not being used daily) we starred to smell burning from the motor. We were just out of warranty so called to see if there was a repair service (to save money but most importantly to reduce the waste we contribute to the environment). There was no service available and no contacts given for companies that might be able to do this.
Was surprised and disappointed that this is not in there manifesto in these times.
I will spend the extra money and buy a product such as Vitamin, with longer lasting products.

Waited 7 months for a new blender bowl…that didn't fit

Waited 7 months for a new blender bowl and blade to arrive, finally found that it doesn't fit the model we have, despite being advertised on the website as the correct fitting product. Customer support guy was totally unhelpful and rude, and insisted a refund would only be provided after we had paid to courier the product back to them. Despite it being their fault that they sent the wrong fitting product, they refused to pay for the courier, and refused to refund the product until I had sent it back. Guy actually hung up the phone on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor.

Do NOT order direct with Ninja UK

Do NOT order direct with Ninja UK, they are rubbish. I ordered a air fryer there web site says order before 7pm for Next Day delivery. Got email confirming order and a follow up confirming dispatch. log on to DPD couriers who advised "We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel" contacted Ninja who said delivery would take 5 days. Requested payment back and to cancel order as i can get via Argos next day, he said I would need to speak to manager. Ninja UK C/S said I would have to wait for product to be delivered and then return it for my money to be repaid, this could take up to 14 days NOT HAPPY & Still waiting for a return call 3 hrs after my original call from a manager at Ninja UK

Please do not order directly from Ninja…

Please do not order directly from Ninja UK. I ordered two items on 26th Nov 2020. Their website stated that they are able to price match. Upon noting that the two items that I ordered from Ninjakitchenuk were cheaper on Amazon. I contacted them to price match. The customer service officer said since it was only cheaper on Amazon, he couldn't price match as other online stores needed to sell the items cheaper as well. This doesn't make sense logically. Upon hearing this, I asked the customer service officer to cancel the items. He said I will receive a cancellation email.

26th Nov 2020 - Products ordered
27th Nov 2020 - Products cancelled. I was advised that my money will return back to the card that I I with, within 5 to 10 working days.
10th Dec - It is now 10 working days. Refund is yet to be received. Cancellation email is yet to be received. I contacted them, they said they can't explain why they were yet to process the refund. They asked me to give them another 10 working days to process it.

I asked the customer officer (Thomas Mitchell) to send me a cancellation email as I am still waiting for it. Thomas said it takes upto 24 hours before they send a cancellation email. I advised him that since 27th Nov, surely this is over 24 hours. He did not know what to say to me again.

I asked to speak to the manager. I was advised that it takes a minimum of 5 days to speak to a manager. P

16th December 2020 - I am still waiting for my money to be returned back into the account. I have notified my bank.

Please avoid this company.

Accessories are always out of stock

Be aware that the accessories are always out of stock, it is so frustrating after spending quite a lot of money and curtain parts get broken or leaking then try to buy it and not available for months. It end up a waste of space in the kitchen.

Also, don't trust the review in their website, they do moderate the review and reject for unknown reasons if you are critical.

Nutri Ninja, Poor After Sales Service, Poor Quality Product

I bought a complete Blender / Food Processor in Dec 19. By April the bottom of the food processor, the bit that spins the blade fell off. Each of the 4 screws that held it on had sheared. I contacted them on the 27th April by email and Keith responded within a day to give me a phone number to call. I called a number of times but because of CV19 they didn't answer until the 5th May when I spoke with Adam at 13.55. I explained the situation and on checking he explained the item wasn;t in stock to replace it. Amazingly he then said that I would have to keep checking over the next few weeks to see if it was in stock. I said that should be their responsibility to do that and contact me when in stock but he said he couldn't or wouldn;t do that and it would need to be me. He said that notes would be put on my account. I seemingly had no option but to continue to check to see if the product came back into stock over the next month. I contacted them again on the 8th June at 16.00 and spoke with Jamie. He confirmed the product wasn't in stock so I asked for a refund. He said he couldn't arrange the refund and it would need to be escalated to the complaints team who would get in touch within 48 hours. No one got in touch so I called back on 16th June at 09.42 and spoke with Laura. She again confirmed the notes and when I asked for a refund she said she couldn't as it would need to be the complaints team who contacted me to raise the refund. She wouldn't commit this time on a timescale and when I asked to speak to someone immediately she said the system was down so couldn't do any more and the complaints team would be in touch which I requested to be by email as by this point I really didn't want to be messed about any more by this joke of a customer service team. No one has contacted me since so I have had no option but to contact my credit card company to help. Firstly, the quality of the product is a real concern, I dread to think what could have happened as it is the component that turns the blade that sheared off after very little use. Secondly, the after sales service, lack of concern, zero contact from anyone and seemingly no authority to resolve a complaint immediately makes me want to advise anyone to steer clear of this company. So Adam, Jamie & Laura, thanks for absolutely nothing, shocking service and support. Hope this info helps Nutrininja sort their after sales service out and for the sake of other customers safety, I hope the faulty product was a one off or Ninja could have bigger problems with razor sharp blades flying about the kitchen.
