A few months ago I placed an order for multiple bags of seeds in paper packaging and have just recently noticed that the metal lining has started to flake off into the remaining seeds, rendering them inedible.

I got in touch with their customer service team to request the product be replaced and was thoroughly disappointed at the way they chose to handle my complaint.

They advised that any faulty/poor quality products should be reported within fifteen days in line with their policy, although this contradicts the Consumer Rights Acts 2015 in which we’re able to request a repair, replacement or refund for goods within a reasonable amount of time. A fifteen-day limit would not be enforceable by law.

Additionally, the team was extremely rude in their communication and attempted to push blame back onto the customer instead of taking ownership and apologising for the poor quality goods.

Sadly after reading a plethora of complaints on TrustPilot, I fear I’m not alone in my experience with this company and that they aren’t likely to take responsibility and make steps to improvement any time soon.

Avoid at all costs.

They USED TO BE decent enough.

However, once I got notified that one of their suppliers used an EU-banned organophosphate pesticide in one of my orders, they just decided to ignore my emails when I asked them to please make it right....so that's certainly something to contemplate.

Been ordering from Nutsinbulk for many years but this year I've had several issues unfortunately. Delivery is usually within a few days so I made an order as usual before going away in 10 days. Unfortunately nothing arrived and they hadn't even posted the goods in that time! My last order contained an item that was obviously contaminated by another product and was not edible. Rather than ask for the item back to check they said it must be my taste buds!!!!! My friends all agreed the item was contaminated after tasting it. Eventually they agreed I could send it back for a small refund but the postage was so high it wasn't worth it.

I buy hazelnuts (10kg bags) fairly regularly. Delivery is as promised, quality is great.

I have ordered twice from this company, 5 kilo of macadamia nuts in june, and 5 kilo of medjool dates + 1 kilo of dried cherries is july. All of that were of first-class quality (only cherries was to dried out) Claims can only be about minor things: cardboard parcel with macadamia arrived completely wet from one side, and the nuts crumbled from the bottom from the blows but this is obviously DPD delivery falls (thankfully my order inside was packed in plastic bag), and in second order with medjool dates, inside the box with the order, as a softener, were placed old, cut up boxes from some spices; they smelled quite strong and unpleasant and I had to throw them away immediately, fortunately the dates and cherries didn't catch smell of it.

I chose this website a few years ago because they had paper options for bulk orders. But for the last year or even more they send everything in plastic. Even though on their website it clearly states that paper packaging is available for certain types of product and certain weight. And they argue that paper is easier to damage. Fun fact - out of all my packages within 3-4 years, the only damaged product was packed in pastic. Paper was always holding on just fine.

I tried to talk to them about it a few times - it was ignored or I was given weak excuses and nothing more. Finally they replied - don't worry, we will pack chia seeds in paper this time. And my package arrived with chia seeds in paper but purposefully poorly packaged so that chia seeds fall out all over the box. And it's clear that it's on purpose - the paper isn't damaged anywhere, the leak comes from under the tape, just because it's poorly packed. I don't think it's a coincidence. For me it's whatever, a tea spoon of chia seeds it's not a loss, but a loyal customer with big orders to them - definitely is.

And they also told me that next time they will charge me extra for paper packaging, even though there is nothing about extra charges for paper on their website. Their policy says - ask for paper and we will provide if applicable. And according to that - it should be applicable to half of the stuff I order. They never care.

Time to switch. Instead of adapting to their customers, they decide to prove a point. There are tons of websites using paper packaging for bulk orders without any pathetic excuses.

Also, if they don't like the review on their website - they remove it. They just don't allow posting negative reviews. Very sad.

Terrible quality, I ordered lavender, smells and tastes horrible, no chance to make a tea. I used to order from a different company so can compare it and definitely it's moldy here. Terrible quality. Also Rosemary smells moldy from ''Nuts in bulk ''. Strongly not recommended.

Always great produce and packaging, that arrives in a timely matter.
I really love this company and recommend 100%. Try the mushroom mix for serious health benefits and daily protein. 🙂

Actually pretty good service. Good quality goods, good delivery time. Good contact as well.

Although the packing states best before in Aug 2024 the tastes of the nuts already turned bad when it was opened in Jan 2024. Email them for reply but never answer. VERY BAD SERVICE AND QUALITY IN PRODUCTS.

Quality products, including some that are difficult to find in other shops.
I have been ordering in nutsinbulk.ie for the last 4 years and overall, my experience is very good. We had a few hiccups here and there but all sorted nicely and fast by their excellent customer service. It is when something does not go according to plan that you feel whether a company is good.

I've only had a good experience with this company - good quality and good value. The only thing is their shipping times, which takes about 6 days but I am totally in no rush and can wait...so plan ahead.

They only approve positive reviews of their products. The same day I sent a 5 stars review for a product and 1 start review for a different one. They only approved the positive one. Something similar happened months ago when I had a bad experience with them. That's not fair play...

I ordered last week 10kg of herbs and some seeds. All came in today, good quality and fast delivery. Very happy.

I ordered a large quantity of nuts and seeds about three months ago. Unfortunately, they were moistened so that mould got into most of them in a short time, making it all go to waste. At the very beginning I felt that there was something wrong with them, because they had a specific taste, they were not dried.

I do not recommend ordering products from this company!peanuts butter are made from expired nuts!peanuts exactly.

Shocking customer service! My order was infested with maggots and they refused to offer a replacement or refund!

Ordered online over $80 worth on 2 August. Did get a receipt but nothing since. Neither phone number is answered.
Update; finally got an email response saying my order would be dispatched today
September 13: Nuts in bulk replied asking for 'more info'. I did get the order about 12 August. It turns out they were on holiday. They should leave a message on their phones about that.

Poor customer service and misleading products. Ordered dried cherries, and got cherries in syrup. Not exactly dry are they! And the response I got was very robotic and arrogant.
