GOOD PRODUCT FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING SERVICE
I ordered the Tiffany Garden set on line, and paid with Paypal. I recvd an acknowledgement from Paypal but not Oakita. I phoned the next day to ensure they had recvd the order and to find a delivery date, no answer so left a message, same again the day after, began to get concerned as to whether the company was bona fide. Third day recvd a telephone message that the furniture would be delivered on the Sunday between 12 and 4pm, was asked to confirm that this was ok. Phoned, no answer so left a message confirming it was ok.
On Sunday at 5pm phoned to check whether deliver would happen, no answer, left message. Furniture arrived just after 6pm. Good quality, but cover missing, several phone calls and emails later have been told "We will send" to then find out they have no stock and will not have covers for another 2 weeks, (one month after delivery) If only there was honesty in their information I would have accepted a prolonged delivery, even better if they answered the phone or replied to emails, they would deserve an excellent for the product. VERY FRUSTRATING, WILL IN FUTURE FIND COMPANIES THAT HAVE BOTH PRODUCTS AND SERVICE..

We desperately wanted to have a short notice party to celebrate Claire getting pregnant! I phoned Oakita and said I would order if they would deliver in 2 days.
They said No! A retailer saying no to a sale - I mean it sounds crazy. They didn't even seem prepared to try even with my assorted solutions offered on the phone.
I was told 'I am sorry sir we would if we could, but every single vehicle space is full, and we don't use couriers, or agencies - every delivery is done by ourselves and we are running at capacity until late next week. We can promise to make you a priority in the event of a cancelled delivery.
I was so impressed with this as it is such a frustration to be let down by others, that I ordered anyway.
Next day I got the call! Did I still want the party for the weekend as they had had a cancellation.
It just seems personal with company. They recorded I wanted to have a party, and they kept their promise to phone if they could.
The lovely delivery lads have not long left and the venice sofa set looks lovely on the patio.
Now we just need the forecast thunderstorm to pass over - there is always something :)

Couldn't be more positive about this company - great customer service - fast, prompt delivery. Delivery men extremely helpful more than happy to carry several large boxes into the back garden (not just leave then in my front garden like some delivery companies). Cant wait for the sun so I can enjoy my fab garden sofa and chairs.

When the extension was complete the table & chairs were delivered. They are of the highest quality.

Terrible customer service- don't even tell you when they plan to deliver!!
Sadly I had to keep contacting this company to receive the item I had ordered- a parasol... I had no confirmation no. and when I chased they were unsure of delivery... Told me they had been twice even though I had waited in all day and they clearly hadn't been, to find out even though I had confirmed add, they had been sending it up north to wrong add!! Weren't that bothered that they had cocked up not once, not twice, but three times!! Still wouldn't confirm a AM or PM delivery.
Item finally received, is a nice item but of the quality I would expect for the price, just must make sure not left up in the wind!!
Won't be rushing back to use this Co sadly with a little thought for customer service could have been a much better experience.

I am always a little wary about big purchases from the internet but on this occasion it was unnecessary to be concerned. The furniture I purchased was of the highest standard and I was delighted. Delivery was prompt and easy to arrange with flexibility on the part of the company when I had to rearrange. Both the office and delivery staff were helpful and courteous. So delighted with my purchase and would use this company again.

I purchased my oak table and chairs in good faith with pre Christmas delivery, but when the delivery date was advised by phone I can confess I could not even get out of our road for the snow.
The delivery van even turned up with snow chains on! You'd sort of expect it in siberia, but a UK company using snow chains to get the job done is impressive! Furniture is great too :)
Such a helpful company
Ordered 6 dining room chairs on a Tuesday morning, was called on Wed morning and chairs delivered Thursday lunchtime. Couldn't have been more pleased with the service and the chairs were much cheaper than those viewed elsewhere.
Worst company I have ever dealt with
Bought some furniture from them at an exhibition on 27th March and paid in full. Furniture expected Mid June, finally arrived mid July after much chasing. Chairs not the design we ordered (although they disputed this) two sideboards, 4 of the 6 doors would not close after opening, nest of tables, poor finish on smallest table, Dining table not as per one on display by their own admission. No offer to replace faulty goods, had to chase them to collect, then chase them for refund which finally arrived 23rd September less £200 they kept without telling us for 'services'.
My advice, don't touch them and if you do order anything, take a picture of it.

Ordered a lovely oak table. Due to lots of problems when moving house they were very accommodating with lots of changes to the delivery details. They also honoured the original price prevailing at the time left a deposit, despite us finally accepting the order almost a year later and the price of the table had gone up slightly in the interim.

Not on the high street pays off...
Spent weeks of wasted Sundays trawling the usual retail parks for furniture before turning to the internet. Found Oakita on google alongside some of the high street names and thought the products looked better and yet the prices were more reasonable so was a little skeptical. Spent one more weekend traveling to Bedfordshire to their showroom (don't expect fancy decor on a massive retail park, this is more like a hidden gem) an industrial unit with friendly staff and a fabulous range of solid oak furniture. Bought a huge 12 seat dining set and sideboard on the spot for a fraction of the high street cost and it was delivered the following week. Just wish they did bedroom furniture!
