If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. They did not deliver the light then have not refunded me my money 4 months later despite MULTIPLE contacts with them. DO NOT USE THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY.

In short their customer service is non existent

In short their customer service is deplorable. Incorrect info about delivery times. excuses that wharehouse has issues.
It was only by saying I was on the verge of taking legal action that the ordered and previously paid for goods arrived.Lots of chasing and waste of my time.
There are too many really negative reviews for this company which match my experience. Will never use them again.
I have no idea who the customers are that are praising them on here or on their own website.

Appalling service.

Appalling service.
I ordered a light fitting for £192.70 on December 1st 2023. It was not delivered, I had hoped to have the new light in place for Christmas.
I requested a refund earlier this month as it became clear it was not going to be delivered.
Still no sign of our refund.
Very unhappy customer, feeling conned.

Terrible

Placed an order with a 3 to 10 day delivery timescale however no delivery or communication from the company following multiple chase emails! Terrible experience.

Cannot recommend you buy from this company

I ordered a light fitting a month ago and it hasn’t arrived. They don’t answer the phones but did reply to one of my emails saying it will be delivered this week. That hasn’t happened. I also wrote to the Director Paul as a previous reviewer suggested. No answer to that. I don’t believe these very recent five star reviews amongst the one stars and I now don’t believe the company comments about backlogs and system problems. Communication with the customer would be better if this is the case. It very much suggests they are just trying to take your money and have no intention of sending the goods. Check their latest company accounts. Wish I had done it before I ordered.

Seems like a con

Seems like a con! Multiple phone calls emails to the guy called Paul as requested emailing him before 1 star review. If you don’t want 1 star reviews communication, honesty, timing, caring, assurance are just a few of the things you could do to stop getting them

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling! Do not place an order with Ocean Lighting. I ordered a chandelier 4 weeks ago. Payment was taken on the day of order and an email received stating delivery in 3-10 working days. No delivery within the time frame so tried to phone several times but phones are not answered, emailed and received a reply 2 days later stating delivery would be w/c 12th February. No delivery and was then told it would be dispatched Friday 15th February and that I would receive an email with the dispatch details. No email received so I have requested a refund from my credit card provider.

Disappointing second purchase

I have bought from them before BUT this time, item was out of stock so I cancelled order...a month ago.

STILL WAITING for my refund. Something very wrong with their accounts/office departments. Don't need the stress of phoning daily to speak to an answerphone...Where's my money?!

Disappointed!!

Kept one item and returned one item unopened on 7th December 2023. When I rang Ocean Lighting they acknowledged they had received my return. I chased my refund 3 times which finally got refunded back onto my statement on 14th February. I haven't got the confidence to use this company again in the future.

Awful company

Awful company. I am still waiting a reply after several phone calls and emails! I ordered on the 27/1/24 which they took money promptly for. I am so annoyed that I have had no response to cancel my order! When I did manage to get to speak to a girl on the 5/2/24 she told me that I had to cancel through an email, why couldn’t she do this for me and issue a refund there and then.
How long does it take to respond to their customers. I will never buy from them again

I’m so glad I contacted Ocean Lighting

I’m so glad I read the reviews and got in touch. Many companies are struggling and it’s frustrating when things don’t go right - but all I can say is that as soon as I got in touch, I got an immediate response and my order was safely delivered and I was kept informed throughout.

Would like to say a huge thank you to Alex and Conor especially, they went above and beyond to help me ! And true to their word found me a piece I so much needed excellent service and communication throughout ! Would highly recommend them amazing company ⭐️

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. They never delivered the goods. No refund in sight. Have had to dispute payment through the bank.
Tell you everything you want to hear. Disgraceful service.

Do not order from ocean lighting…

I ordered a lamp on the 4th of January 2024. Payment was taken from my bank account and I received a confirmation email saying my order was in stock and I would receive my order in 3 to 10 working days. I worked this out as being the 18th of January at the latest. On the 22nd of January I sent an email to ocean lighting as I had not received my order or heard anything from them. 72 hours later I received a reply saying that there was a backlog of orders due to Christmas rush and that my order would be dispatched on the 5th of February but they would endeavour to get it to me sooner. However,on the 8th of February I emailed them asking for an update on my order. It is now the 13th of February and I've had no reply.

Dreadful company

Dreadful company. Took 28 days to receive a refund on goods they never even sent due to no stock. Hung onto the money until the very last minute. Terrible communication.

Dont believe their "IT" issues

Dont believe their "IT" issues. They just take your money with no intention of delivering anything.
Its always going to be next week! with them.
I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped trading any day now. A truly poor company with zero communications and no morals.
Paul you should be ashamed of yourself!!
If i receive a refund it probably will be a miracle but rest assured im getting my Solicitor on to it!!
Avoid as they are not what they seem.

Awful Company

Awful Company. Avoid

What an awful experience from beginning to end.
Purchased 3 separate lights in November for our new home as we were hosting in December. Ensured items in stock and would be delivered in time. Never arrived and had to host with wires poking out of the ceiling and walls. Unresponsive to emails , long waith to speak on the phone, and false reassuarances that it will be done "next week". By end of January I asked for a refund which never arrived and had to escalate via the credit card company. Not worth the time or agravation. Don't make the same mistake.

Awful company

Awful experience. Placed an order and promised on their website delivery within 5-7 days. 10 days later, not even dispatched. Emailed, took a week to reply saying now due in a further 10 days due to a “warehouse backlog issue”, why didn’t they try to notify me? I called for a refund several times, no answer at any time.
