As with a lot of the reviews I placed my order for 2 basic ceiling lights and have had to keep chasing up as no sign of delivery, different reasons every 2 weeks so after over a month I have cancelled my order, luckily I paid on credit card so if I have issues with a refund I'll be covered on this.

I asked for a refund and have waited over three months to receive it (over £200) and am still waiting. No one returns my calls and replies to emails take over seven days.

You'd be tempted to think this company was either folding, or was just a scammer.
I sincerely doubt I am going to see either my money, or the light I ordered.

Poor Customer Service and Communication
I have ordered an item from Ocean Ligthing on the 16th March with 3-10 business days delivery terms. I heard nothing relating to the order and I followed it up when it reached the 10 day deadline. I was informed their warehouse was really backlogged due to some system issues and the delivery would be the week commencing the15th April. Having booked an electrician I needed to source an alternative item, therefore I requested that the order be cancelled and the money that they had taken be refunded. I am yet to receive any response to my request, just as I received no updates or information relating to the issues with my order. I will not be using this provider again.

I am in the same position as many of you! Ordered a light in Jan - did not hear anything so contacted them and eventually decided to cancel order on March 11th as I clearly wasn’t going to receive anything. I spoke to someone called Zoe who sent an email back saying to expect a refund within 14 working days. It’s now been over 3 weeks and I still have seen no refund. They are crooks, taking our money and not providing the goods! I wish I’d read these reviews, I usually do! Their website looked so legit - I just risked it. Filled with regrets!!!

I ordered 2 lights back in January and they kept telling me the lights were delayed, eventually I asked for a refund as they weren’t cheap ! Since requesting a refund I have had a series of emails from customer services saying the refund is being processed, they will chase the refund, they will push accounts to issue the refund etc etc etc all to no avail, still no refund and about to enter April !! Can’t believe they can still be selling lighting online when they are having so many issues and still taking peoples money but not delivering the products! BEWARE of this company!!!!

Ordered 13th Dec...cancelled after over a month of waiting for delivery, still chasing a refund, fobbed off with one excuse after another. Read the reviews, and do not order from this company! Ordered a table lamp at the start of March and received an email to say it would be delivered within 3 to 10 working days. After 10 days, I still had not received the product. Rang the company on 16/03 and spoke to Connor who said the warehouse had been having issues but that he would email me an update on Monday 18/03. Email claimed that the product was due back in stock on Friday 22/03, and it would then go through 'quality control' checks. I was advised the order would be delivered the following Tuesday or Wednesday 27/03. Contacted Ocean Lighting today for an update as I have not received notification of dispatch. I have not received a reply, and have therefore asked for a refund. The company claim to have '5 stars on TrustPilot' on their website, and this is clearly not the case. Hope the company can sort out the situation they seem to be in quickly, but recent reviews suggest there is serious trouble.

I ordered 2 lights on 22nd January. The website said 3-10 working days delivery but they didn't arrive. I emailed them and received an email stating they were delayed due to some system issues. I asked if i could cancel and get a refund as i could get them quicker elsewhere. They emailed to say this was fine and would issue a refund and to allow up to 14 working days for a refund. That was on 13th February. I did not receive the refund so i called them again. They said it would be a further 3-5 working days. Surprise surprise I did not receive that either so i called them again. They then said the payment had been processed AGAIN and i would receive it within another 3-5 working days. That should have been paid on 15th March but i still haven't received it. I called again today (25th march so that's over 2 months since the order) and they still haven't done it. They said they made an error and have done it again so i am left waiting a further 3-5 days. Reading other reviews i will be lucky to get this at all. I have emailed their director Paul Hill but haven't had a response as yet. This company needs investigating and i'm taking it to trading standards. Looking at their accounts on Companies House it would appear they are in difficulty!
Fraudulent trader
Absolutely shocking.
Order never arrived, after chasing for weeks on end, I finally got through to their “customer service” and was told there is a huge backlog and my order is going to be delivered 3 weeks later…after which there is still no sign of the light fitting..tracking number or any communication whatsoever. I have tried reaching them by phone again and sent multiple emails but as I have more important things to do in life I have disputed the purchase with my bank as fraudulent and will report the seller to the trading standards.

Everything went wrong with my order.Ordered on 27th November 2023 and my account was debited the next day.It never arrived for Christmas even though I was promised it would.Several more e mails and phone calls and It finally arrived 27th January 2024 and guess what ...it was the wrong size! I informed them by e mail only to be told it was the manufacturers fault and the size I wanted was no longer in stock! I was told to return it for a refund and they then set up a courier to collect it but was told this would cost me £14.99 which I reluctantly agreed to pay because I just wanted an end to this nightmare. It was to be deducted from my refund.I sent it back on 14th February 2024 and they received it from the courier 15th February.More phone calls waiting and waiting for my refund.I was eventually refunded on 15th March 2024 less the £14.99 courier cost.It was 4 month nightmare and It was a very stressful experience for me.If I could give a NO star rating for Ocean Lighting I would.

A Bad Attitude .
On the 12th Feb Ocean lighting quoted a delivery date of 3-10 working days to pick and despatch a pendant light. I waited ten working days then asked where my order was. To be told it had not been processed or despatched. They would process the order again. Upon learning they wanted another 3-10 working days to process the order again, I instructed them to cancel and refund my payment. A week later Connor phoned to say that the order had been processed and was ready to despatch. I was amazed at his arrogance. I told him I had cancelled the order with him a week earlier and had expected a refund. He then went on to state that a refund could take two weeks.
The attitude is bad and their service worse.
I am still waiting for my refund.

I ordered lights on 20th Feb , they did not arrive after 10 working days. I had to contact them to see where lights are -they said would be another 10 working days.
I asked for a refund, they said will be 14 working days.
I asked why as surely you can pay me back straight away ?
They took the money did not deliver the goods so why 3 weeks before they refund ?
I will now take it up with my bank to get a refund as I am not sure I will get my money back
