Great customer service didn’t have to…
Great customer service didn’t have to wait on hold for a long time. Communication was good by phone and by email. When there was an error in switching over to octopus, lizzeth the service rep I spoke to was able to give me a credit for the time I was still on the previous provide with who was charging double the amount that octopus was offering. Wish I would have never left octopus a year ago for this other provider.
Good customer service representative!
The website to sign up for the plan had a glitch - I could not place my order despite trying on different browsers, desktop or mobile phone, and different days. When I called up the customer support number, the associate Revel helped me sign up for the plan over the phone. She was really polite and professional, and answered whichever questions I had while signing up. I'm hoping the experience using the electricity plan will be as good as the experience I had getting helped by Revel!
Simply Amazing Customer Service
Octopus is great! I’ve never had such amazing experience with an electric company, but their customer service is unmatched. Kevin (the one with the accent) and Peyton specifically helped me so much that I’ve probably just become a lifetime customer. I truly appreciate being an Octopus customer because I believe they appreciate me being one! ❤️
I was unable to transfer my energy…
I was unable to transfer my energy service on line - but Revel made it easy when I called into customer service to get help. She did all the heavy lifting and got it done. Looking forward to being a customer again with Octopus.

This is my first month with Octopus Energy and I’ve not received my first bill yet, but I’ve called into support several times now for various questions about the plans and some of their specific savings programs. My most recent customer service Rep was Payden and he was extremely professional and helped answer all of my questions. The best thing about this energy company is their support staff is located in Texas. They are easy to understand, helpful and truly embody that southern hospitality.

A bit up and down, but nice agents
Kevin was wonderful! When I called in originally, he told me exactly what I needed to get for the deposit to be waived. I was able to call back in the afternoon and requested to speak to him to finish the process. He was quick, easy to understand, and made it a breeze! Overall, I had a simple time signing up and receiving all the necessary documents as our call was happening. Kevin is a great agent!
Update: I sent a reminder email to them to not call my old electricity provider and cancel that plan because I will be having electricity in two different places. I got a response 3 days later that actually my entire request was rejected (despite having a card on file, account sign up documents, etc) because they think I’m having electricity at the same address…like that makes no sense. And I got the email on Friday at 5:21 when I can’t even call in to get help to figure out the issue. Luckily Deavonte’ got that sorted for me today. Here’s to hoping the electricity is on this Friday!

Kevin was very knowlegeable. He provided information that was helpful in understanding my solar system, and how to optimize the use of the equipment. It was explained in a way hat makes my investment in solar make sense. I called to complain about yhe increase in rates, but I ended up signing another 12-month contract. He is, indeed, a very valuable asset.

When I got home today, I discovered my power had been disconnected because someone mistakenly signed my address up for different services. It was a stressful situation, but when I called Octopus Energy, Deavonté immediately stepped in to help.
He was professional, patient, and thorough in resolving the issue, and thanks to him, I was able to get my power restored the same day. His dedication and excellent service turned what could have been a very difficult experience into a smooth resolution.

Month to Month plan is a rip off.
I went from a 12 month plan to the month to month plan and my rate went from .13 to .31. There web site says it should be around .22. Very dishonest pratic.
I can't help but wonder in what other areas are they dishonest.
